• When I try to print a webpage using Firefox, the page enlarges 4x and therefore I only get 1/4 of the webpage on an 8.5 x 11 sheet. If I change my browser to Chrome or IE, it prints correctly. If I scroll to the bottom of the Firefox Print Dialog window and select "Print using system dialog" it also works correctly.
• I have the zoom set to 100 and the Print Dialog paper size set to Letter, It is set to print to page width, I tried it with Scale 100 but it didn't help. I also went to about: config and checked that the paper size and scaling were set to 1.
• The the picture of the Print Preview looks exactly like should be when printed, but when it is sent to the Lexmark S505 printer the size is too large.

Since I print 50-100 individual webpages a week, I cannot use Firefox if this can't be corrected.

Firefox 94.0.1 (64-bit) ~ Windows 7 ~ No anti-virus except Windows Defender ~ No new extensions installed that haven't already been operating for weeks or longer.

Suddenly, after doing NOTHING except restarting my computer, my 'minimize', 'maximize', 'restore' and 'close' buttons are missing.

Any 'solutions' I've looked up talk about "Tablet Mode" (which I highly doubt I'm in) or other nonsense, the options for which either didn't exist when I opened suggested menus, or were simply techno-jargon-gobbledy-gook.

I doubt it's anything to do with Windows, since 'Waterfox', 'Microsoft Edge', 'Chrome' and other browsers all have their buttons intact.

When I opened Firefox in 'troubleshoot mode' the buttons were back. But nobody in those unhelpful 'help articles' said what to do after opening in troubleshoot mode, so I closed it, opened Firefox the usual way again, and the buttons were still missing.

Some logical, properly explained help would be greatly appreciated.

I use windows speech recognition (not dictation, different thing) when my wrists are acting up, but firefox always immediately turn unresponsive when i turn it on. i can't switch tabs or interact at all with the browser. Are there solutions for this? If my wrists were slightly worse i would probably just stop using firefox :[

I am getting ready to switch from Firefox to another browser. Firefox just refuses to print. When it does, it is incredibly slow and pays no attention to the criteria I select, such as which page, paper size, color or black and white.

It hangs on the "Creating Preview" loader and decides randomly 3-5 minutes later if it's going to print anything. Most often not. Converting to postscript is a no brainer these days. Everybody can do it. Why is FF having such an issue?

I have looked at every solution article within Firefox and without. And print resetting DOES NOT WORK!!

This used to be such a friendly easy to use, fast browser. Then I noticed as you started adding "features" it's just turned into a slow memory hog that doesn't print, a "feature" that is crucial for me.

Saying goodbye. This is just too darn frustrating.

I'm trying to order some scalpel blades, model XNB101, off this website, https://www.ffx.co.uk/ but I'm not getting anywhere. If I click "Add to Basket" I just get the rotating icon. After that, if I refresh the screen I can see they've been added to the Basket. If I click on the Basket, the "Confirm Order" is greyed out. If I Refresh this screen, the "Confirm Order" goes active/Orage briefly then reverts to Grey. If I click on the Paypal payment option, I get to Paypal and can log in but it fails "oops there was a failure" or similar. I've gone into Troubleshooting Mode and it made no difference. I've tried enabling Pop-Ups to no avail. Anyone help please?

Hi everyone,

Not sure if it is the current version of FF that is causing it to crash each time I visit some websites. In order to troubleshoot the cause, I manage to load the website in safe mode and it was stable but going back to normal mode, it happened again. So I tried to isolate the problem by going through the checklist as documented by FF support e.g https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-keeps-crashing-startup but to no avail.

Since, I intended to reinstall my Mac from scratch, I thought that might help eliminate any issues that might be causing it, but after installing Catalina and then installing only FF, I visited the site again and it crashed the moment it tried to load.

The site I was visiting was http://www.ahpra.gov.au/

Would this report help in any way?

My firefox extensions are not showing up in my toolbar. I've tried everything I've seen, turning on Private Browsing, checking the customize tab, removing Ublock Origin, but nothing has changed and they are still not there. Help!

I opted in to Rally a couple of months ago. I recently decided to stop and , I thought, removed myself from the two panels I had been on. Currently, when I switch apps, a Rally screen pops up begging me to install Rally. How can I cleanly remove my self from the program? I have nothing against the idea of Rally. I have an internet provider that provides internet for the entire tenement house. When I log in to the wifi network on my laptop (from time to time you have to log in before you can start using it) using Firefox Mozilla, I am automatically directed to a news page that I would not have set as my home page in my life. The problem only occurs on this browser, but I haven't found any option in the settings to regulate it; there are also no similar topics on the forum. I will only add that this page, if I remember correctly, used to be the start page of mozilla (when I installed it for the first time). How to fix it? I don't want this page to open. Hi, I make use of Firefox browser and would like to make it as my main browser. However, for me to do this I need to know if there is any possibility for the Visual Effects (background) of Google Meet to be compatible with the browser (Firefox), as there is with the base Chromium. Also, I expand my question to Skype for the Web.

I signed up/logged in to firefox before I reset my PC, to save all my bookmarks and passwords, only for me to finally get my PC back up and running with NOTHING synced. How do I fix this there is 0 chance I get back my old install as I have formatted.

I chose lavender as the background color, but I hate it. It has changed all my links to lavender and I want to go back to the default settings before I added the lavender. I want the default settings before the Colorways options were made available.

Even though I have figured out how to change the themes, the lavender color is still present in certain words. I want it to go. I want what I had before I added the lavender theme.

I have looked at the articles, but I cannot find an option that says "go back to what you had before" or "undo" or "restore default settings". I'm possibly missing a step. Don't know. I'm frustrated that I can add something so easily, but not get rid of it so easily.

Please help me restore my back ground colors to pre-Colorways add-on lavender. I have a Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.6.
