I am having trouble running Firefox 68.2.0 on a fresh install of CentOS 7.7.1908. This happens whether or not a .mozilla/ directory exists. The problem happens when I invoke Firefox from the command line with or without the "-safe-mode" switch. No Firefox window come up.
Here's what the process listing looks like:

Every time I go to Yahoo.com and try to sign into my mail accounts, I get the Recaptcha. It may ask me to click on all cars in the pictures. When I do that I notice the "Continue" button is superimposed on the pictures of the cars and then when I try to click on the "Continue" button, I get a circle with a diagonal slash mark through it. Yahoo won't help me with this until I pay money. This problem started when their pay for phone tech program started. Please help!

My history is not showing, my auto entry is not showing, and my bookmarks are all not loading. I have tried importing and exporting as well. Export is blank(nothing is happening), When I try to import from the Auto-Backups (I did not make manual saves), it says Unable To Recover File.
I have looked in the browser for profiles, and it shows only the one currently in use, no old profiles show.
Any help would be appreciated!

This dirty trick required to move a single bookmark folder from one Firefox profile to another stopped working for me for some reason. I tried different firefox versions, including the one from portableapps.com, I tried starting the second instance with -no-remote switch. Nothing worked. When I tried drag&drop between the instances there was the blue feedback dash indicating the place where the folder was going to be dropped in the target Library window. But nothing happened. I tried holding Ctrl as well, also using Ctrl+C - Ctrl+V key combinations.
Is this a known issue? Has a recent version of Firefox removed this ability?

Today for no reason all my saved passwords on my desktop Firefox browser have disappeared. Fortunately on my android phone they all still exist. I have tried to sync and on Android it confirms sync has happened but the passwords will still not show on the desktop browser. Only new passwords now entered are being recorded.
I have never had this problem ever and have done nothing today that would cause this to happen

I recently asked Microsoft a question. I said is it possible updates have slowed my computer. While the answer was sort of fuzzy, they suggested that I use click to play and use Flashblock. But, they then said Firefox has made their browser not be able to use Flashblock and Flash is going to be used, regardless with Firefox. Can someone explain what is happening if someone whats to use Flashblock? Secondly, my computer has gotten slower in the last few weeks. Is it possible a Firefox update is causing the slowness? I have a functioning security system and I defrag and clear the disk periodically for my maintenance. Thank you.

No problems before I signed up for an account to use Firefox Send. Immediately after that I started to get an annoying pop-up window asking for my master password immediately on browser start.
I want to be able to browse sites without entering a password, and I also want to continue using a master password but only for sites which require a log-in.
I deleted my Firefox account in the hopes that would fix the problem, but the pop-ups keep coming.
I tried unchecking "ask to save logins and passwords for websites" in preferences but that didn't work.
I have not deleted my saved log-ins and tried a new/clean browser because I spent a long time getting all my add-ons and log-ins set up and I don't want to have to reinstall everything, and I am concerned that if I save my profile that it will just re-install the problem.

I just installed the latest Firefox update (67) and when the browser restarted I noticed no web pages were loading. It turned out this was because my uBlock Origin and uMatrix extensions had been completely cleared of ALL data, including their default/pre-defined rules.
All of my extensions data seems to have been cleared. The extensions are still installed, but their settings/data are completely gone.
This is EXTREMELY frustrating.
Does Firefox make backups or anything before it attempts an update? Is my extension data/settings recoverable somehow?

Hello, On Facebook website I can't see the comments under any publication, when I click on Comments nothing happens, and if I open the post in a new page there's still no comments. When I click on the notification icon the turning wheel turns without anything appearing, and if I click on View All, in the new page the notifications appear for less than a second, leaving me with a blank page.
I tried opening Firefox without any extension but the problem is still present. In fact the only way for everything to work is to open a Private Window, where after logging in Facebook I can see all comments and notifications.

In the Network tab, in the normal windows there's only 101 https://edge-chat.facebook.com/chat?region=lla, and in the private windows there are also several 200 https://3-edge-chat.facebook.com (or 0-edge or any number depending on the page opened).
So if someone understands what that means and how to fix it that would be great.

First off, I must say that this behavior happens with both the installed and portable versions of the latest stable 32-bit Firefox: when I click on a link in, say, Thunderbird, and Firefox is not running yet, it opens a new window with no addons, as though from a new, clean profile, instead of resuming where I left off when I last closed it, as I set it to do.
I can't for the life of me understands why that happens. It seems as though I have two different versions of Firefox (I'm certain that's not the case...), one that I start manually when I need to browse the Web, and another one that would be triggered by third-party apps, the two not sharing the same profile, of which I'm sure I have created only one.
I thought it could have to do with the fact that Portable Firefox comes in a 32-bit/64-bit package, with the third-party app starting the launcher instead of the 32-bit executable, but I've now deleted the 64-bit folder in Portable Firefox altogether, so that can't be it.
Where does that strange behavior come from?!

Firefox has been working for months perfectly, since yesterday where I meddled with user rights. I reversed everything back to normal, meaning my User has admin rights and I can access and write over everything. However whenever I start my laptop anew and I open Firefox fresh it says "Another instance of Firefox is already running". When I click on "End task" it keeps spamming the same message. When I go to abort it just ends the firefox.exe (as observed through task manager). When I press windows+r buttons and type in firefox.exe -p or similar, I can create a new account (the last one created did not save, default user cannot be picked) and use Firefox normally. I am super confused and cannot find any solution online, I have tried many and this is the compromise I am working with as of now.

As stated above, in win10 Firefox constantly freezes up. Sometimes closing and opening resolve for a while, other times not. Tried all the fixes, none worked. The freezing was more sporadic prior to the latest win10 update, much worse since. I have a win7 machine that never has problems. Both use Norton, both have same settings for browser and Norton security. Only difference is win10 vs win7. Hardware-wise the win10 machine has more resources, double the ram and an ssd, win7 machine less ram and hdd. The win10 machine should be better not worse.
What's the fix?

I can turn off ocsp stapling in about:config:
security.ssl.enable_ocsp_stapling;false
and page works fine then, but site has lot off customers, so this is not relevant solution for me.

Multiple websites will not load properly in Firefox unless I am in private browsing. Some examples are netflix.com, xfinity.com, pinterest.com, and many others. Elements of the page will not load, or will not be functional. If I load the same pages in private browsing, it works fine.
Also, these same pages will work if I load them within a few minutes of launching the browser. An already open tab will usually continue to work, but if I open a new tab or reload after the initial few minutes, they stop working.
