Firefox (63.03) has google.com as a search engine in the search bar. I want to change it to (or add) google.com.au There does not seem to be any way to do this. Is there any way that I can force firefox to use google.com.au site search engine instead of google.com ?

I have used Ant Video Downloader for years. Suddenly, it changed, and not for the better. Now, it does not work at all. Why? What happened? What are you going to do about it? When? Must I change browsers to get one that will allow me to download? I like Firefox, other than it s-l-o-w-s way down too much too often.

every time I close the last Firefox - Tab the Process is hanging for some time and then the Firefox-Crash-Window will appear. This happens in also safe mode and I am using the new Firefox-Version. What can I do?

The add-on "Speed Dial 2" is a great Speed dial, because it works on Firefox and Chrome, and can be saved in the cloud. So you can synchronise your short-cuts between both browsers ! But bad luck :-/ on Firefox, it is not working properly, and maybe because of a bug of Mozilla ??

Here is the problem : - it is mpossible to set the start-page of Firefox with the new-tab of Speed dial... "about:newtab" doesn't work in the settings, why? - More of that, I noticed that the add-on is slow to start the first "new tab". But later, when you click "New tab", it woks perfectly !

-> In case it would work properly, it would have been the ultimate argument for me (and perhaps other people) to come back to Firefox

1. Win 7 Pro 64 bit working error free.

2. Updated from FF ver 63 to FF ver 64

3 Computer starts having hard freeze when even Task Manager will not load and cursor is frozen.

4. Only reset button reboot works.

5. Symptom is repeatable.

6. Restored system image.

7 Computer once again error free.

8 After repeated nags from FF, once again updated FF to ver 64 (64 bit).

9. Symptoms in nrs 3&4 above return.

10. Restored system image and computer is error free.

11. Ignoring nags from FF to update to ver 64 (64 bit)

12. Now what?

Everything worked fine until yesterday. At first it was tabs crashing but that quickly turned into Firefox crashing. I haven't installed anything, haven't done anything that would cause it as far as I know.

At first it was 2-4 minutes the tab would crash. Then it turned into Firefox crashing every minute or two. Now it crashes within a few seconds of startup.

Here's what I've done to try to resolve it. I've updated flash player, graphic drivers. I've disabled add-ons, started Firefox in safe mode, tried clean install, tried different version of Firefox. It's crashing constantly.

What else is there to do?

Firefox version: 63. (I've tried 64 and results are same). OS: Windows 10 64 bit.

Since a while I often have a problem that when I open a link in a new tab, the page doesn't open (tab keep showing the loading image, but nothing happens). This also is the case when I use ctr + t to make a new tab, type something (so it will open the search engine page searching on what i typed) but it just keeps loading and do nothing. The problem is sometimes it does work and sometimes it doesn't (same session, even when opening a link in a new tab that keeps loading and open the link 5 times more, from the 5 times 4 keeps loading and 1 does open the page).

I'm using Mozilla developer edition, curious if other also have this problem.

I don't understand when I've been on a public bus site for instance, to work out a map plan, now it blocks me from using a certain application on the site when i've been on this same transit site many times. Do I have to allow the site to be opened in the set up? This is when I could use the map the most but considerable time now's lost my getting to the place i would have liked to go in the short time given but i trusted hitting this site's bus schedules and now it's denying based on insecure connection (?)

What I want to know is if I download a copy of Firefox's source code, what do I need to change in the source to make the compiler give me a compiled version of Firefox but with a different title, EXE name and icon to the default?

Recently, I have noticed a severe drawback on "Electrolysis" - e10s feature (plus interference with add-ons/extensions maybe?), that causes severe CPU load and therefore system non-responsiveness. After some ...hard-core trial & error I managed to narrow down the problem onto that (very useful otherwise) feature, unfortunately: Tools-->Options-->Performance, and reduced the number of processes from 4(default) to 1, and then I restarted FF. Voilà, now my Firefox/system experience is again back to normal! Any thoughts would be appreciated...

how do I print a page from mapquest. I get a notice that tells me my printer is off line. However I can print PDF document from desk top. How do I connect my prinetr to get documents from fire fox browser ie Ancestry.com or FamilySearch.org.

This is really getting annoying. When I open Help/About it shows I'm using 63.0.3 and the box is there to 'restart Firefox to update'. This leads me to believe the 63.0.x update isn't really being applied.

Firefox crashed when try to download or open options . Especially when i trying to open preferences (option) firefox just crashes. I reinstalled it but no use. I disabled all addons and did fresh install , still it crashes. Help !

I play Flash games on Kongregate every now and then, but - for whatever reason - Firefox 64 blocks them from saving.

They load OK but something (which must be a new setting that Firefox 64 added) is blocking them from saving new data, both automatically and when I manually click 'save' on games with this option. Nothing is writing to the Appdata folder where the game data is stored (stored as .sol files).

Never had the problem before, and everything works again if I revert to 63.0.3. Any ideas what could be causing it?

Movie trailers will not auto-play after the 30 second intro ad.

After the ad the video remains blank.

This problem also exists when Firefox is restarted in safe mode.

Works fine when using other browsers such as Chrome or Edge!

Keep getting phony Firefox Update.Firefox is up to date.Cannot stop this from happening. I have all the pop up blockers installed,and Malware Bytes detects nothing.

After last update firefox 64 the addon Ultrawidey;; do not working automaticaly on fullscreen on youtube! , This addon was streching 16;9 content to 21:9 contect screen automaticaly. Also the function on addon Z key not working, only her X key is working , but i have to press X evrytime to get rid off blackbars now!! So I downgrade to Firefox 63.0.3, now automaticaly strech screen to 21:9 working again!! and addon function Z key working again on youtube . Can u tell me why?
