I don't want to have ad pictures or ads to be displayed.Secondly am worried on seeing a new window being opened without any order from my end. It is not only irritative but also wastes lots of time. Do suggest.

The problem

I was trying to hack together some code in the Stylish editor changing the look of Firefox. I was using the Firefox built-in 'Ctrl+Shift+Alt+I' Inspector along doing this, not the DOM Inspector add-on. Then something happened!

I now have a totally blank page/Fx. I can right-click the page and go 'View Page Info', it says "about:blank" as the location.

In that window I can't do much or open any new tabs. Apart from the 'View Page Info' I also went Ctrl+N and got a new window. This window seems somewhat normal, though not everything works.

Thing is, I haven't closed and restarted the browser yet because I was quite happy with the code I had managed to produce. I'm wondering if there is a way to get it back without redoing all the steps and research.

I haven't restarted the browser yet as I'm not sure that Stylish/Fx will restore a tab with that code in it.

Can I somehow see all the currently custom rules being applied to Fx and then filter away the rules of saved userstyles and add-ons, to get the code I was working on?

Are there some temporary file where it's stored? Is it in RAM, how can I get to it?

Would be quite an interesting feat if this was accomplished. So there's a challenge for you ;)! Up for it? Accepted? Impossible?

Do you think Fx/Stylish restores the code if I restart Fx? Anything I can do before restarting to make it do so? Is there nothing I can do to save/rescue/get the code back?

Only option is restarting and trying/starting all over again?

Currently using Windows 8.1 64-bit Firefox Developer Edition 42.0a2 it's a Firefox Portable instance. So it's a Firefox 32-bit instance. about:buildconfig says:

I am using Firefox to open Web GUI of OpenWRT, but firefox is displaying password (which was remembered) in the password fields. It must not do that. This problem is only caused in Firefox, not in either Chrome or IE. What to do now? :(

I synced my bookmarks from a previous version, then imported a json file of old bookmarks, thinking it was the one I wanted, but wasn't. So I have my old bookmarks, which some are what I want, but now I want to import bookmarks that are synced to ADD to my current bookmarks. I don't want to replace my current bookmarks with the synced bookmarks.

I can no longer use Nowtv.com. A message comes on saying that Microsoft's Silverlight program may be corrupted, please fix now. I have gone through all the trouble-shooting steps and run Microsoft's own Fix-it tool for Silverlight, and scanned the PC for corrupt files, still no joy! Is anybody experiencing the same problem with Firefox? I'm running Windows 8.1. Any tips and resolutions would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I play games on pogo.com. Some games require flash, so every time I play a game which needs flash, I get a message that my version of flash is outdated So I update it again (same version as before) and try to play the game after restarting Firefox, but get the same "outdated" message.

I have several addons/extensions. Every day or 2 I have to confirm each of them. It takes a long time as is very irritating - it stops me working. I need firefox just to enable them without user intervention. If there are risks I took them into account when choosing the addon - no need to recheck!! See attached image.

I use Firefox and gmail. My computer was running slow so I pressed "Refresh Firefox". Now, every time I try to print a google email, Firefox crashes. In fact, every time I press any "print" related function key, Firefox crashes. My printer works fine because I can print Word documents. Help.

My current FF is version 42.0b2 (on the beta update channel) and I use Windows 7 ultimate as my OS, but i still can not update. Every download and install updates always show me "FF can not install patch file update". for more detail kindly see the attached image for FF message. Thanks. FF users.

I have this thing "speed test 127 " on my firefox browser .I don't know how I got it . I disabled from from add-ons but no option for remove it . it doesn't show anywhere in my computer . how can I remove it  ?
