How do I open new windows instead of tabs
The system open all new pages in Tabs..I was wondering how to change the settings so when I click on a new link it opens in a new window

Since updating to version 27.0b2 on Win8.1 x64 my extension buttons (on my address bar) keep changing positions everytime I start Fx up.

As I said, version 27.0b1 was working just fine. But once I upgraded to 27.0b2, the extension icons (buttons) on my address bar would automatically change positions and sometimes even go MIA! (won't even show up)! Every time I customize and drag the icons into position, it stays that way only until I close Fx and then restart. Then the same problem occurs.
This exact behavior also happens with the 28 nightly (Australis) that I have on another PC. What did the devs break with this 27.0b2 update? This is driving me nuts. Can anybody please help?
About my system: Win 8.1 (64 bit). Single (default) Fx profile. I didn't install any new plugins or extensions recently.

So i wanted to install again older version of Mozilla which i didn't figure how i could do it, it would always lead me to newest version, so i decided to install version 27beta.
With 27 beta, YouTube works, but problem with Hotmail and Facebook, i really don't understand - it works in IE of course. Meanwhile i didn't change anything on my computer.

Ever since November any build past Firefox 27 has installed but immediately crashes after a few seconds without ever opening the firefox application. Every single nightly build I have attempted to try has the same problem, the 64 bit builds are no longer properly opening for me. They throw a windows crash report, not even the Mozilla one. I have tried resetting firefox, and uninstalling, i've tried portable builds and simply running the extracted updates.

Now I've changed (several) dozens of options in about:config over the years and everything works exactly as expected apart from this thing. Is there something that could be reverted to get the desired result, or is there another way to get to the profile manager?

Trying to download and install Adobe Flash. Adobe says the current version is 12.0.0.43. When downloading it from Adobe http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/, the version says 12x32_mssd_aaa_aih.exe. Don't understand that. After saving it and trying to install it, it will say that (only a single instance of this application can run). Clicking the OK button didn't help by eliminating one . I have done an Adobe Flash uninstall, tried re-booting, no Firefox applications are running and use the download folder to install. Same thing happens. I have had this problem before with the flash updates, and by making sure Firefox was not on, and installing from the download folder after doing a adobe uninstall seemed to work. Not now. Tried udating Firefox 26 to 27. I also have Chrome as another browser. But that was never a problem before. Sure would like some help. Thanks.

I want this to work just like when you go into a coffee shop or a fast food restaurant with WiFi. I don't want to be telling guests that they must do this or that unless it is really simple to do.
Any reason why this doesn't work in Firefox and how to correct it?

Master password not working. All I have to do is click cancel when it requests the master password and I go straight to the site.
When it requests that I enter the master password, it is not needed. All I have to do is click cancel or the X and I quickly go to the site I want.

I don't EVER want to see a firefox window or tab or instance that I haven't directly caused via mouse or keyboard input, and I want it to be COMPLETELY transparent. How do I do that? I'd like to know how to change the behaviour of the "Click to play" warning, or how to disable it. I have Firefox 27 (beta update channel, the version previous to RC1). I configured the Flash plugin to "ask every time" and "plugins.click_to_play" is true by default.
Before installing the latest update, there was a popup warning on the top left, near the address bar (with the "lego brick" icon).
Now, instead, a new bar is inserted directly into the web page content (asking if I want to allow "Adoble Flash" in the page). The result is extremely annoying, because all the webpage content is shifted down every time to make space for the warning bar...
How can I remove the warning bar? I tried to set "plugins.click_to_play" to false and I noticed no changes at all in the browser behaviour.
