It seems to me that recovery from backup only allows one to recover ALL bookmarks. But maybe one wants to recover only one folder, or only a few folders. Can that be done? If so, how?

My address bar disappeared. I can get it back by hitting F10 but it doesn't stay. How can I get it back and keep it? When I go to the Customize Toolbar setting, the address bar is not there.

We are a high school alumni association and Firefox is used primarily for our social media sites but yesterday it started not opening our Facebook page properly - doesn't open the whole page, won't open the comments and if you click on something it just sits and spins

Hi everyone, for some time (~2weeks) I have the issue that I don't get any autofill-information in login screens.

I checked the relevant settings/passwords/"Fill usernames and passwords automatically" (OK) I deleted my ff profile and reinstalled ff. (whereas here it worded briefly) I disabled all plugins (only have "uBlock Origin" running at the moment)

I'm pretty puzzled, does anyone have any ideas? Best, Stefan

This setting, "Always ask you where to save files," is definitely broken.

Proposed solution: "I believe you also need to go into Tools -> Settings -> General and set the Action for the types of downloads (Applications) to Always Ask for those types you want it to."

But this workaround should not be needed. "Always ask" means always ask. As in always. No other additional steps should be needed.

Can you folks please open a bug to get this fixed? This used to work just fine in (much) older versions of Firefox and Netscape. "Always ask" is supposed to mean always ask. Like, always.

Please tell me what to do to get the bookmarks back. Up to date Firefox: 147.01. Mac OS Sequoia: 15.5.

I had the Toolbar and Bookmarks Library yesterday. All are gone today. I have already spent much time reading on Mozilla site and Reddit. I will have to go to Safari and work from there.

I will check back periodically to see if I get any help.

My extension for my password manager, 1 Password, will not populate my toolbar as normal. This changed in the past two days . I have tried to deactivate and reactivate the extension to no avail. Can you help?

Hi. In the process of reinstalling my laptop (W11) I synchronized my Firefox, as I have done some many times before. No, this time, it seems that all my bookmarks and passwords have disappeared from the sync service...

Is there any way to get them back, now that my laptop has been reinstalled, from scratch?

I just moved from Windows 10 to Linux Fedora Workstation and I used the "Back up and restore" option in the Sync Tab available in Firefox on Windows 10 to save my data in the form of a unique html file. (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-backup)

But now that I'm in Firefox on Fedora, this option does not seem to be available (in the Sync tab in Settings). Is there any way I could at least recover my bookmarks ?

I'm using Firefox 147.0.1 from the official Federa repo.

When using BT Mail i am unable to input email address from drop down box which appears when typing intial first letters.

I can do this when using Edge.

I have updated my browser to latest version. Have also contacted Bt and have been advised that the issue is your browser. My wife has a chromebook and has no issue with the above problem.

Please advise.

Hello, I do not know if others have this problem, but when I try to access an Microsoft email account, using Firefox, it loads and then immediately logs me out. When I use a Firefox Private Window, this not occur. What might be causing this?

Previous solution: switch browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar to false does not work anymore.

Please help.

Hi, I tried to drag and move a tab (worked everytime till now). After I tried to move it toolbar freezed (The image is what I mean by toolbar). Url bar, forward, backward, refresh and 3 lines for settings doesnt work. Only things that works is downloads and side bar. I can also click on tabs and they will open, but moving them wont work. Drag and move options is True.

When I try to quit and reopen firefox, everything works fine until I try to move a tab again. I tried editing the tool bar and default toolbar settings, that wont work either.
