I searched how to disable any random new AI features Firefox was about to cram into the browser.

I was served this support page that says I can "Block new and current AI features (single switch)"

Simply, the described feature to disable AI features isn't in the settings. I've look and tried searching for "Block AI enhancements" & "AI controls" but no luck.

Please tell me they haven't given the writing of support pages to some shitty LLM.

To view a new comment on the site UMGF, clicking view on email opened the forum with all info and access included. Now, a very bare bones layout has replaced it rendering it useless. It loads correctly on Chrome however.

Hello, Until a couple of days ago we have been connecting regularly to the samaritanspurse.org website but now the connection times out. All other websites connect with no problem. What can we do to correct this situation. Thank you

My pc just did the latest update, the one with the new Logo. It wiped out all my bookmarks and passwords. I can reset the passwords, but I have hundreds of hours of research which was all bookmarked. I have changed laptops four times and each time I did, I would just sign into my Mozilla account and it was all downloaded into my new one.

Did anyone else experience this and were you successful in retrieving this data? Do you have any tips? This was important information on a health condition and I don't know if I can find all of this again.

Please, please help. I tried doing what I found in your forums but nothing helped. Could it be that the information was wiped out by your servers and it's permanently gone? I really need help. Thank you.

I just got a new Dell Windows 11 desktop PC to replace my old Dell Windows 10 PC. Since switching, there are three sites that will absolutely not load the homepage: Paypal, Venmo, and Common Dreams (which is a news site). The same sites continue to load instantly on my old Windows 10 PC in Firefox, and on the new Windows 11 PC on Edge. Firefox is the only browser I use, I just use Edge to test sites, I uninstalled Chrome because of Google's privacy and AI issues.

In the lower left corner of the window for these three sites are the following messages, for the three respective sites:

• Waiting for www.paypalobjects.com...

• Sending request to jssdks.mparticle.com...

• Waiting for www.commondreams.org...

What's going on here? Seems strange that Firefox continues to behave normally on Windows 11 for all sites except these three, and works perfectly for these three sites on my Windows 10 PC. How can I further troubleshoot and fix this? I don't want to have to use Edge to visit these three sites, esp. Paypal and Venmo.

I'm guessing it has something to do with cache or history but am not sure how to proceed...

hi i am unable to use the middle search bar on the firefox screen , i understand that this search bar is a dummy bar, i have been told that to make this bar work you have to alter the settings using about:config process, and changing the handoff from ture to false , to which I have done in the past and it has worked , but for a reason I cannot understand this seems not to work now , i am completely lost now and i am reaching out to the community for help and advise thank you . I keep receiving a popup seeming to be from McAfee security regarding a virus on my computer. It isn't from that security firm. The ad locks my system till I shut off and restart my computer. This is very annoying and occurs on all installed browsers. Is there anything I can do about this annoying thing?

On some sites where the text input isn't a proper input box, pressing Back Escape takes me back to the previous page is there anyway to fix this? (for example the wordle page.)

hi there, I'm using FF147.0.3 on a windows 11 version 25H2 laptop. I use google as my default search engine. When I open a new tab the google search page opens as usual. But now all of a sudden as soon as I start typing, search suggestions are appearing in the address box and not in the main google search page bar.

I've tried "settings-search-address bar" and turned off all features but that had no effect on the problem. I've reset the laptop several times but the issue still remains.

This problem is really annoying so any help would be great. Cheers Jeff

Not sure if this is the correct topic, but I have been using Firefox for over 20 years, and after the last update, there is an icon missing from my Firefox browser page. It's the "file" icon in the very upper left corner of the window that allows "new tab", "new window", etc. I'm still using windows10, on an ASUS PC, but never had the problem until just recently. I've restarted the computer, reloaded the window, nothing works to restore that icon/function. Thanks - Mike B

Why all of a sudden I cannot reacht my saved passwords anymore. Also it does nit prefill the saved passwords anymore when going to a website. How come Firefox/Mozilla keeps changing these essential things?? It makes it very much so less productive.

I've included a screenshot of what I get when clikcing on the Password tab. The information displayed in this wcreen also does not work. Clicking on Sync, does just nothing, just showing Sync in grey... Clicking on Login above just show this screen screen again. Useless.

I am not sure what to do first. I already paid for the VPN subscription. I reinstalled Mozzilla VPN but have not yet put the sudo lines in that are listed in the help on Firefox. Can you send me an email with instructions and any special sudo lines I need to intall so I do not get charged a second time. I heve the recovery code. I am new to Mint. Windows 11 started knocking out my hardware with power surges. Had to come from the operating system itself since the machine is hooked to a power backup that smoothes the current out. Hey, I have a new laptop and want to login to my account. My account is an hotmail.com one. After giving the password Mozilla is suppose to send me an email with an authentification number. The email is not coming. Not in the spam section, anywhere. Tried multiple times, same issue. Add Mozilla to my contact list, nothing changes. Tried to change my Mozilla account email address, not possible as I need to pass through this process again. Is my only option to delete my account and creat a new one with another email address?
