Hello! See the screenshot please: so, I downloaded à pay-bill, with Firefox (under ubuntu), in private navigation, and I get the file with a padlock-symbol at the end. What means that? What means that for me (on my computer), what means that for à friend, when I sent him the pdt-file (can he open it?). Nota: I understood that I can choose between "delete downloads when closing the privat window" or not. And I choosed not to delete them (but there appears this padlock-symbol). Thanks for your help! Getting "Mozilla Firefox Crash Reporter" problem message when attempting to print files (Docs & Sheets) from Google Cloud. Errors messages have appeared on Lenova Thinkpad laptop in Firefox since mid Dec update. Can print existing files located on desktop, just not from cloud. Both HP and Epson Printers test fine, can print 'test pages'. Tried downloading files from cloud to pc....opening downloads, got same Firefox problem message and crashed. Have used same firefox browser and same printers for several years. Rebooted several times, same error. Can print, 'printer test pages'. Do I have a switch turned off/on or is this a browser problem. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hello, I recently used the option to sign out while also checking the box to delete data from the device. I was under the impression that once I had the new computer I could just sign into my account and my synced data would be there. This is not the case, because I can't even get my bookmarks and what not back on the device that I originally signed out of. I'm pretty sure I am on the right account so why is everything gone even though it said that synced data will not be deleted? Am I cooked? Losing all my keys and bookmarks is going to suck so if anyone could help me, that would be much appreciated.

Hi Google Maps all of a sudden is not showing the names of places in Firefox. When Google maps loads initially the names show for about 1 second and then disappear.

 I am on a Surface Pro 9.  

Google Maps works fine in Chrome.

I have already tried disabling extensions, clearing cache, and ensure the performance is set to run normally. 

What else can I do to fix this?

I just installed Mozilla VPN but when it's active my internet connection stops working. Pretty sure whatever protocol it's using is the problem with the WIFI signal, but I can't find how to change the protocol like every other VPN service allows. How do I change the VPN protocol? There is strangely no article already on this site for this common problem.

I just bought a new PC, part by part, and used my storage devices from my old PC. I formatted the windows drive and am on a fresh installation of windows 11. I tried to log in to my mozilla account, but couldn't remember my password so I used the "Forgot password" function. When I logged in, no bookmarks or history was saved. Is it possible to restore my synced data?

When l look at Settings>Updates>Check for updates: I am usually presented with an update such as the one just now: Security Intelligence Update for Microsoft Defender Antivirus - k32267602 (version 1.443.4.0) current channel (broad) completed00 -

After checking for updates I will then go to SETTINGS> IT clearly shows that I am running Windows 11 PRO.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHY IN PLACES THAT ARE TRACKING ME AND TAKING MY PERSONAL INFORMATI0N, THAT IT SH0WS OR SAYS THAT I am running Windows 10? I often see it if I sign into one of the many different accounts that require 2 factor authentication, which will send me a notification alerting me that someone has signed into my account from a NEW DEVICE. OR FROM AN UNKNOWN DEVICE. That is when they ask if I recognize this login and it shows device and location from which the login attempt is happening. IF I answered honestly, (because it is showing a login attempt happening from a (WINDOWS 10 SYSTEM) and my system shows Me that it is running Windows 11 PR0: it would flag as suspicious and my account would get locked up for sure. Instead, because of the odd hour of the night it occurs, that combined with the location I know it is myself and even though it says "ON A SYSTEM RUNNING WIND0WS 10", I force myself to lie and answer that I do recognize the attempt. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP FIND A SOLUTI0N TO THIS ERROR. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

O, woe, I feel like Jacob Marley wailing in torment, ha! My correctly-set selection of "Always ask you where to save files" still does not function in 146.0 on Windows 10 after I have gone through every permutation of settings, updates, restarts, etc., I can think of. Why does it always every time only automatically download to the download "Save files to" location (which one MUST set with no option to not set a download location). I have even selected "Ask whether to open or save files" on the "What should Firefox do with other files?" section. I want to be asked each time where to download just like Firefox used to allow and still falsely promises. Am I doing something wrong, or is it a vast Left Wing conspiracy with which Firefox is colluding to oppress people who want choice over their lives like me? :-)

I've embedded a Youtube video from our company's YouTube page into our website. It works fine on Chrome, but on Firefox it displays the error message: 'Video unavailable Playback on other websites has been disabled by the video owner Watch on YouTube' I have not disabled playback on other websites. Where could this problem be? It looks unprofessional for the video not to be working.

Hello, Randomly but frequently enough to be annoying, Firefox freezes my entire laptop. I have windows 11. It freezes so badly that I have to hold down the on/off button until it goes off. I looked it up outside of Firefox help and, per suggestions, turned off the hardware accelerator. That seemed to work for a little while but now it's happening again with greater frequency. There doesn't seem to be any exact situation that causes it which makes it very hard to diagnose. But it's enough that I'm thinking of looking for another browser so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi, how do i enable microphone access to dictate to ChatGPT? When i go to my Monzilla Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone a window opens that states: the following websites have requested permission to your microphone. ChatGPT is not listed and there is no option to manually add a new permission. Can you help? Thank you

Since I updated my computer to windows 11, I cannot load my amazon page. I've tried to load directly from menu bar, still NG. There must be a setting I'm not understanding

For awhile now I have trouble completing purchases on some websites when using Firefox. I need to open another browser like Edge to complete the transaction. Anything using "Shop with Visa" doesn't work and, for example, I just had to buy tickets on StubHub through a regular credit card submission. I bought them 4 times, got confirmation, and then had the order cancelled because it didn't go through. I called my credit card and was on with StubHub tech support. The final solution was to open Edge and make the purchase and it went through and I had the tickets a minute later. I'm now having the same issue trying to make a reservation at a restuarant through sevenrooms.com Its been sitting on the confirmation page for several minutes. I went into edge and made the reservation and it was confirmed with 30 seconds.

Hallo, ich habe das problem das mein Firefox browser immer im Vollbild modus startet, das hat er vorher nie gemacht. ich kann es zwar über die F11 taste zurücksetzen aber das ist nicht gut, auch habe ich schon einträge in der about:config gemacht die das verhindern sollten was aber auch nichts gebracht hatt. Es wäre schön wenn man das problem beseitigen könnte.

Ichhabe auch schon alle pluging mal ausgeschaltet um es zu testen hat aber auch nichts gebracht. Vielelicht liegt es ja doch an Firefox selbst.

Es wäre schön wenn mir da jemand weiter helfen könnte.
