Apparently downloads of the Firefox browser are tagged with something called dltoken so Mozilla can count unique installations. How do I verify the authenticity of the download since they don't match the untokened hash checksum?

I know downloads off the ftp site won't have the token, but I installed first and then remembered to check later.

When using DuckDuckGo Search I cannot drag and drop the search URL into my Bookmarks. I can drag and drop a Google Chrome search URL into my Bookmarks as usual. Also, the correct URL is not shown for the search using DuckDuckGo. See attached screenshot.

Please resolve.

And when I say every website is blocked, EVERY website is blocked. Google was blocked. Duck, Duck, Go was blocked. MOZILLA.ORG WAS BLOCKED!!!!! And all for “Potential Security Issues.” My laptop is essentially useless because your fucking program won’t let me connect to ANY website. Im going to have to uninstall it so I can use my computer. Yes, my computer clock is correct. What the actual fuck is going on?

I am unable to open links to various sites, like OnShape, Banqiue of Montreal, Banque Laurentien and more... Any security that bvlocking access??? I am running Fox from Linux over Window 10. Says You have not granted any special permission to this site.../.

Help - any hint?

The URL text box does not at times show the actual URL of the webpage displayed! See attached screenshot. If I click on the back button once and then the forward button, the issue is not resolved. If I click on the back button twice, and then on the forward button twice like last time, the correct URL is listed.

Please address. I have a related URL issue where if using the DuckDuckGo Search I cannot drag and drop the URL into my Bookmarks. I plan on asking another separate question about this.

Greetings, I have a problem with Firefox taking too long to load websites after login, while Edge loads websites immediately. It happens every time I lift the laptop lid and login. I have restarted Windows 11 and tested the load times of Firefox and Edge a while ago by going to Google. Edge loaded Google after 5 seconds, while Firefox 3 minutes and 25 seconds. That's long. Sometimes Firefox loads a webpage 10 minutes after login.

What could be the issue here and how do I fix it? I have the following extensions and I'm sure that they do not hinder Firefox.

(My laptop is very slow. I have cleaned the cashe, performed disc cleanup, cleaned the memory, and everything i can think of. I opened task manager and see that multiple instances of Firefox open. (photo #1) I have uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. I have also tried changing the preferences to 1 instance, but it wont allow me to. (photo #2) Please help.

Recently updated to Windows 11 after Windows 10 stopped getting supported. After putting down several smaller issues on my own, I can encountered something I cannot fix on my own. Currently, I cannot detach, reattach, move tabs (With the exception of moving tabs with the right click menu). I could do all of these on Windows 10. I have already tried the browser.tabs.allowTabDetach setting in about:config to no success. I am starting to suspect it is a problem with windows versus a problem with Firefox because of an earlier bug where I couldn't move the windows entirely without enabling the Snap Windows function in my settings.

I recently lost all my data on my computer and after logging into my account, I couldn't retrieve my firefox data. I searched everywhere on my browser and couldn't find nothing to fix this.

Unfortunately, my Mozilla Firefox (ver. 144.0 (64-bit)) doesn't have extensions.screenshots.disabled. So what now?

This afternoon, I clicked on a link from an email and for the first time got a choose a profile pop-up. I do not want this; I have read info on Mozilla and elsewhere about its purpose but it doesn't say how to just stop the pop-up - there should be an option just stop the pop-up because I don;t want to have to choose amongst options. I have started copy-pasting the links in emails and going to Chrome and will seriously have to reconsider using Firefox of this continues. I don't want to have to type about:config or anything - this should have been an opt out or opt in thing and I want out. Thank you for your help.

This is not the first time you have sent an email to me indicating I should "View all sites where your info is exposed", and each time I receive your emails the sites you suggest are sites I have never seen before, let alone logged into with a password.

I use a Password Organizer Book, with all of my logins and passwords for each site I use. I do not use a password app, and have NEVER used a password app. Each time I go to the website you suggest, It's always a site I have never seen before so it would be impossible to login and change the password. I always check my Password Organizer Book to make sure.

I don't know what you want me to do since I cannot login to the website you are suggesting. Is there action I should be taking? I don't know what it would be, but if you know please let me know.
