Is there a way to customize the Password Generation with Firefox as to observe a specific pattern because at times a few of the websites do not seem to be comfortable with the generated one from the browser?

I was trying to switch between channels by changing the value in prefs.js

I guess some of the paths are not fully supported. Like from nightly into release it is downloading and restarting the browser but update fails and starts all over again leading to a vicious infinite loop.

Hello, I see that when adding a new bookmark, Firefox now remembers the last used location and sets it by default. I would prefer to keep the previous behaviour of defaulting to "Other bookmarks". Is there a way to disable it please?

Does anyone know of a work around to enable clipboard API functionality over a local intranet without a public domain name?

• I use a local server application with a http interface on my home Intranet, accessed via FireFox (a web browser). I do not want the program to be accessed from the internet, and don't have and don't think I want a public domain for my local Intranet server. In the past I have been accessing it from Firefox by book marking the IP address and port.
• The program has recently changed from using Document.execCommand() method to the modern asynchronous Clipboard API.
• The clipboard API in Firefox defaults to requiring the host is accessed via https (appropriate for public facing internet access) or the host server is run on the same machine as the web browser (127.0.0.1 or localhost).
• From a security perspective I'm not convinced I need encryption between computer in my home networks (if that traffic is being intercepted without my knowledge to modify or spy on or modify my clipboard then my private network has already been severely compromised).

As a result the program's clipboard functionality no longer works for me. I have tried

• looking for Firefox exception settings, to enable clipboard API functionally over http (vs https) for specific local IP, but could not find how to do that in FireFox
• I have tried installing Caddy but without a domain name I couldn't get it to reverse-proxy to https

Am I missing an easy solution or do local servers need public addresses now.

To avoid neck strain, I have my browser window set to fill only the lower part of my screen - not maximized.

When I open regular FF, it opens the window to the desired size & position. But when I then open a private window, it opens in the right size, but at the top of the screen, and I have to move it down every time - which strains my neck. Is there any setting I can change so that the private window will open in the same size & position as the regular window?

(Not sure if this is a Firefox issue or a Windows issue, but I also have the Brave browser, and that opens a private window in the same position as the regular window, so it seems likely a FF issue.)
