Up until the last week, on my iMac, if I clicked on the Firefox button on my bottom toolbar, both of my main FF windows (each with multiple tabs and open all the time) would come to the front of the screen.

Now, only one window comes up and I have to specifically select the other window to see it.

Is this a new behaviour or have I inadvertently deactivated whatever it was that let me do as I have always done previously!

I can't find any setting that appears to refer to this condition.

I have tried five different window managers - none give a reliable permanent opening of Firefox in the primary monitor. Google suggested deleting two files from Profile; I could find only one; deleting it did not produce the desired result. Firefox 'Memory' appears to over-ride any setting.

(srry if wrong topic) basicly when i use the customize firefox tab it tells me about the overflow menu but when i try to add BUILT-IN tools like zoom control it just, not, and also the overflow icon apears gray'ed out,

My Firefox appears to have replaced site security info at the left of the address bar, with a search function. I need it back. How do I revert to the security info it had previously? I also have a separate web search bar, and do not want web search from the address bar.

I need to disable the "command I" keystroke because it is causing alot of problems when I hit it. When I have set the size of the window and then move the window to the left or right then the application automatically expands the window. I do not want it to do that as I want to be able to have the firefox window where I choose and the size I have chosen, but the program automatically expands the widow to fill the screen.

I am happy Firefox released a way to change system shortcuts in the most recent version. But a shortcut I've wanted to change for awhile was not present.

Cmd+K (Jump to OmniBar)

With the latest Firefox 149, the firefox-l10n.js in omni.ja seems to be gone? its normally located in \defaults\preferences\ the file is now completely missing in the omni.ja is it now named differently or is it migrated into another file? normally i edit the file and add for our deployment: pref("network.proxy.type", 0);

how do I click ok to do this? Double-click the browser.sessionstore.max_tabs_undo preference to display a dialog where you can enter the desired value, which in your case might be 0 and then click OK. I have an HP desktop running windows 11 and have been unable to prevent history from keeping recently closed tabs.

the "Open all in tabs" menu that appears at the bottom waiting for you to click on it by mistake. we need a way to remove that option while also disabling the middle button over the folder to open all bookmarks over the tabs. It also should be a default because been using firefox since version 1 (previously Netscape Navigator back in 1998) and I rarely had the need for something like that.

asked chatgpt and it suggested some fixes but apparently userChrome.css is actively being ignored. from the look of things, seems like I will have to stick to an specific version like I had to do with Thunderbird after version 102 where ugly UI changes were implemented.

I went to settings, general and tabs. While I was trying different tab settings I accidentally changed the function of the F11 & F12 tabs. How do I return them to their default setting?

After a recent change the browser scroll always goes to the bottom of the page. Before it was always at the top of the page. I found no way in Firefox to reset this function.
