I have V94.0.1 64 bit version of Firefox. Let me start with this - I really like Firefox and all that it stands for in terms of privacy. I despise Chrome, MSIE/Edge, and Safari because of the data mining they do.

That said, I am very frustrated with Firefox performance on both my Windows PC and my Apple MacBook. I have several pinned tabs. It takes what feels like FOREVER for the pinned and other tabs to open and fully load from the previous session. In fact, some tabs, pinned or not pinned, take easily 15 -20 minutes before they fully load, if they ever load. I also have several tabs that crash all the time - TitanTV, LinkedIn, IMDB, iCloud, Cozi, YahooMail, etc. There are also times where a tab or page gets so hung that I have to close Firefox and start it again. I have uninstalled and reinstalled numerous times. I have not found any useful assistance on this support forum or with general web searches.

Can someone PLEASE help me solve this as it is way beyond annoying?

Hi guys. I have Windows PC machine running for several years now. No new program updates or installs recently, no restarts. And then yesterday, suddenly Firefox started to crash all youtube tabs. Not even videos itself, but also www.youtube.com crashes. Any idea how could i find out, what the hell is going on? Microsoft edge is working fine with youtube. I have tried troubleshoot mode, same. Windows 10.

What can possibly cause this? Thank you.

I'm getting Mozilla Crash reports at the rate of about six per day, but Firefox is still running without any issues. Does anyone know why this is happening and how it can be resolved?

Since I switched to Win 10 Firefox constantly crash on my computer.

• Tried fresh install no change
• Tried repair no change
• Switched off extension and then on (one by one) no change
• Deleted cache - History - etc .. :( it worked for only a few days since I did a full scan with Microsoft Defender.
• Since this last crash (as I could not launch Firefox anymore I used shift + click on Mozilla shortcut)I decided to switch off the graphic card acceleration and all the other option in this menu and it seems to help

Could you tell me how to send you the crash report ( I do have 8-10 of them already sent to Mozilla)

Firefox tabs crash repeatedly for a particular email website that I am using. Specifically, the tab crashes when I click on an link to open an email and see the email contents. The tab will not crash every single time, just occasionally (i.e. sometimes I am able to read an email without the tab crashing, other times not). I do not think that the timing of the crashing has anything to do with the email contents (e.g. length, format). I also do not think that the tab crashing issue is happening for any other websites. The crashing started recently, sometime late December.

I installed the latest version of Firefox, and I cleared the web cache, but nothing has changed.

Any suggestions?

Hello there - hoping for a hand to fix this. Several months ago Firefox crashed while it was in use - void of any update process. Upon reopening, the main window would launch and before any tabs could load it would crash again. I attempted to open in troubleshoot mode with the identical result. I gave it a break and used Chrome but in returning to this issue today the same has occurred. This time after the troubleshoot mode crash, I uninstalled Firefox and re-installed fresh (this was an upgrade from v89 to v92). Upon opening post update the browser crashed again. Each time this happens I have received a crash report screen which I accepted and it was reported as successfully submitted. However, when I open the crash report folder only two appear to have been saved - one old from the first occurrence (6/2021) and one from today(8/10/21). Both of these are linked below for review.

This is on an older Windows 7 machine that honestly I know should be updated but this is only used for light gaming and web surfing and I am not interested in an OS upgrade as I disagree with with the business practices of Microsoft - I find their policies are rather intrusive as a consumer.

I hope I've given enough information about the issue here and my system, thanks in advance for any help!

A very serious bug in all Firefox browsers (it's been around for several years!). If you open multiple tabs (many tabs) in your browser, virtually all settings will not work, e.g. you won't open Options, Menus, various tasks, extensions, won't save your bookmarks, and many other problems. Although the browser opens a page and the Tab works! But everything else is NOT WORKING, even in Safe Mode or Troubleshooting Mode! I've reported this many times: No developer help! On certain websites, for example unsplash as described in the error code, Firefox always crashes. First the whole window including the menu bars will flash white and then it will crash... Opening in troubleshoot mode will lead to the same result.

My Firefox app has been refusing to startup since yesterday, just crashing every time it attempts to start. I assume it's because I have an exorbitant amount of tabs open, but I'm not 100% sure. I tried refreshing Firefox, but the problem is that attempting to refresh loses all my tabs with no way of getting them back. I've tried refreshing previously, and afterwards I would get the option to choose which tabs/windows I would like to restore, but now I'm not getting that option so I'm forced to see if there's any other solutions. I haven't lost any of my previous data after trying to refresh once, since it's saved in the profile in the "Old Firefox Data" folder, but I just want to see if there's any solution that won't require me to start fresh.

Can someone help me fix recent frequent crashes ? This is just yesterday. I tried troubleshooting mode and it didn't happen there, although I didnt give it a long trial. I deleted all extensions, and I reset Firefox. Any ideas?

Dear Mozilla volunteer! I recently experience regular crashes of FireFox version 94.02 under MacOS Monterey. I have removed some add-ons and also "probleemoplossingsmodus" did not help. Furthermore I uploaded various crashreports.

Where can I find help to solve this problem? Or is MacOS 12.01 the culprit and do I have to wait for an update from Apple?

Firefox RAM usage on M1 Mac has dramatically increased. Unfortunately, b/c the memory usage is in firefox parent process, I can't simply terminate a process corresponding to a "tab", meaning I have no choice but to restart Firefox (closing & reopening all tabs) every hour or so of usage.

This is a new issue from a long-time firefox user (on multiple operating systems). It happened after I upgraded the Mac to "Monterey", which may or may not be coincidence.

Initially when I closed a tab Firefox crashed but now I can't even open it, it crashes immediately. Help! Every time I scroll over a picture, it opens in a new tab. I don't have to click on the picture or tell Firefox to do something for it to happen. I must have closed 100 today while browsing Facebook! What has changed and how can I stop it please?

Hi all, first time poster,

Very frequent firefox crashes has rendered the program almost useless, seems to continue to get worse as well. Minimal plugins enabled. Crashes still occur in Troubleshoot mode. No third party modules. Have also played around with performance mode. All continues to happen, in fact happened on this tab as I was typing this. Below are my recent crash reports. Ever since i updated to Firefox ver 93, it locks up. It wont open correctly or crashes. I have been able to use Chrome so i know its not my internet. I have rebooted my system several times. Using Win10. Sometimes I can get it to work in Troubleshooting Mode but not always. Frustrating!

hi. i was debugging my Django_React project in inspect element mode of firefox and that was my first time doing that so i was confused and clicking on some buttons to get to know what to do and outta no where that page crashed. i did rerun my whole project and tried again to connect to it but doesnt work. i checked, the firefox is up to date. i ran firefox in troubleshoot mode and reran the project but still doesnt work and crashes. i think it is not about my hardware or firewall options.
