WHY HAVE ALL MY SAVED BOOKMARKS DISSAPEARED ??? THERE USED TO BE A COLUMN ON THE RIGHT WHEN I OPENED THE BROWSER, ITS GONE. I COULD CLICK AND GO TO THE SITE I NEED TO WORK WITH ??

I had a Firefox update yesterday, April 29th. Since then, my Bookmarks sidebar no longer opens automatically when I open my Firefox browser. I have to go to the sidebar icon at the upper right of my screen to open the Bookmarks. I went to my settings, and the box for automatic opening was not checked. I checked the box, and it still does not function. Any ideas as to what the problem is, and what the solution could be?

Using Firefox version 138.0.1 (64bit). When I click "Bookmarks / Manage Bookmarks, the listing defaults to the "Other Bookmarks" folder. I would like it to default to the "Bookmarks Menu" folder. How do I make it do that?

I realize much of the issue with organizing bookmarks has to do with this ASSUS laptop. However in the past I used what MS provided when using a desktop, which was easier.

I could use a mouse, but maybe there is a good add-on to keep from dropping bookmarks into some unknown folder. This means I have to look for it in other folders. I did use a Dell laptop previously, but Dell has become very difficult to reach in the USA if not a corporate stateside entity.

After many years of successfully using Mozilla Firefox, the last few weeks I noticed a problem that gradually progressed that made it difficult to add a single Bookmark. Now the Bookmark displays only: Manage Bookmarks, Bookmark Current Tab, Search Bookmarks, Bookmark All Tabs, Bookmarks Toolbar, Other Bookmarks, Mobile Bookmarks. Not only could I not add the new Bookmark but I no longer could view ANY of my Bookmarks created over the years. This error started out easily corrected by going to different website and then back to the one that I wanted to save. Today, that did not work and no matter what I tried including completely shutting down and turning back on my computer to the Firefox browser, I could not add ANY website to bookmark. What I tried next was to sign out of Firefox which required me to create a new password because the previous one created was not accepted. After creating a new log in credentials I then tried to use Sync to retrieve my data which was unsuccessful because no entries under Bookmarks were present. What if anything can I do to retrieve these important Bookmarks? Thanks

I want to have all my Firefox bookmarks show with a "relatable" icon. The same lists are shown in one location as globes or a generic icon, while the same list is shown with "relatable" icons in another. Is there a location that I can copy so that all my lists look the same? Windows 10 Firefox version 137.0.2 (64 bit)

I use the collections on mobile like bookmarks bx they're not hidden behind 15 menus I need to merge a couple that got separated and are takin up space but there s like 300 tabs and im not selecting them all at once how do I select all to add to a collection or how do I paste a copied tabs list to a collection

1. 1 - first time sending FireFox bug issue. I took 1/2hr to type out my book mark issues, as specific detail as possible so it would be clear why your NEW Update messed up your BOOKMARK function - a first time and was DONE. went to bottom to click Submit. Saw the ask for Images, made the screenshots, uploaded screen shots here, saw your Button for "Data share"- not sure what this is but wanted to help you/help me, so I clicked it, said something next suggesting I Data share manually - link for HOW to Data share manual, decided was too much for my time right now - clicked the top window Arrow "Back" to THIS page AND 40MIN OF INFO WAS GONE!!!!

Don't put a button and ask for info suggesting I click or I move away from a page to HELP YOU !!! then lose all the work I just did. DON'T WASTE MY TIME!!! OMG - WTF!!! this is not a "fun thing" to spend time on during a busy day or ever. now don't care to re-type it and am leaving with bad experience. well done!

"Volunteers" - why are volunteers doing Firefox support work for free?

See attached screen shots. Bottom line-GO BACK TO THE OLD BOOKMARK FUNCTION where I can add a new bookmark AND put it in folder where I want it in 1 step.

Bonjour, Depuis quelques temps il m'est impossible de marquer les onglets que je désire conserver. La fonction "marquer l'onglet courant" ne fonctionne plus. Sur le même sujet, il m'est également impossible d'effacer les marque-pages que je ne souhaite pas conserver. Hello, For some time now it has been impossible for me to mark the tabs I want to keep. The 'Mark Current Tab' function no longer works. On the same subject, it is also impossible for me to delete tabs that I do not wish to keep. So, to sum up, it is impossible to mark new tabs and impossible to erase the old ones that have been kept. I suddenly have random bookmarks along the top of my screen, just below the Google search bar. I cannot figure out how this happened or how to undo it. I HATE this and have already wasted a huge amount of time. Please tell me how to get rid of this plague. It seems to happen only when I open a new tab, but it is really annoying.

there is no bookmark sidebar button at the right of the address bar

I am running firefox in 5 windows with at least 7 tabs each every time i exit, reopen of update it i have more that 35 Bookmark LEFT Side Bars to close IF i have the patience to close all of them WHICH NEVER HAPPENS... (this is happening since too long, I am pissed off...)

I searched, tried a couple of "solutions" to no avail

I am using the version 115.20.0esr (64-bit) and have noticed I have links in my bookmarks, that are either from other bookmark folders but I never copied them over, or I have new links that I never clicked to be saved? I have deleted those I found but some more keep popping up?
