Recently my system updated Firefox to version 149.0.2. It works great! However, it will not display my homepage which is yahoo.com. I can go to any other website and everything is normal. But when I click on the little house for "Homepage" it briefly displays and then goes blank.

This does not happen when I use a different browser.

Please advise.

When trying to search in Yahoo, using Firefox, About:Blank comes up instead in a new tab. I have to hit the X to close the new tab, and then hit enter again and I will then get my search results. I have 2 PCs and a laptop and they ALL are having this problem since the last Firefox update. I have tried ALL of the recommended fixes, I have refreshed firefox, cleared cache and cookies, turned off firewall, antivirus, extensions, etc. I have even tried some of the config recommended changes and NOTHING works. It is definitely a Firefox problem and NOT a yahoo problem because all works fine in Chrome and Edge.

Why cant I set it to always translate spanish to english??? That option is greyed out and every time i encounter a spanish page I have to manually translate it. Im getting tired of that.

Someone tried to change my email password and I received OTP. so what are precautions and threats are involved now and what I have to do precautions.

since updating my firefox browser I am having trouble with both instagram and facebook. The pages won't load regularly and when they do load - it is only partial pages. Have tried to find solutions to fix this. These are the only two websites that I'm having an issue with. What can I do?

Hi. I run Pop_os 24.04 linux and have run the latest updated firefox for linux and the latest expressvpn for firefox and am not able to get firefox to connect with the vpn "on". It did work a week or so back but not now. With the vpn on, firefox takes at least 15 seconds to load. I've run the troubleshoot mode and it didn't help. Are there settings on firefox that could be the issue or is it a vpn problem? Thanks

I think I will just permanently turn off automatic updates because Firefox suggest has just turned itself on again. I want to retain my search and form filling history like I always do but not have it automatically appearing when I am searching something in the search bar. this is a matter of privacy and Firefox still makes the same mistake over and over again. I can't get an IT job but this guy who keeps making the same mistake every time, angering millions of users every update still gets to keep his??? And the most hurtful thing is, we cant even talk to the people who make it directly to tell them they are messing up, I am speaking to a guy who has nothing with making the damn thing, who is probably just going to tell me to delete everything, which defeats the purpose of keeping history on.

Hello, Firefox has been giving me some troubles lately and I can't figure out how to resolve the problem. Since I haven't found any way to consistently reproduce crashes, it is very hard for me to tell if Troubleshoot Mode also experiences the crashes, and the time I can spend doing that is very limited. As previously stated, it is very inconsistent, but relatively frequent, sometimes it crashes very soon and several times in a day, others it doesn’t at all. Sometimes it crashes with several tabs open, sometimes with only one; sometimes it crashes while using a webapp, others it does so on the newspaper page. It might be more frequent while there are Electron Webapps open, but it's more a hunch than anything, since sometimes it happens without those.
