Hello, I have a situation I cannot explain. Firefox has created over 47,000 bookmarks to the same location. This happens in multiple folders. One is just google. Another is a website I use for work. I delete them and they keep coming back.

I have sync turned off.

Any other ideas?

Last week, mid-day one day, videos on YouTube suddenly all had a warm cast --yellowish for color, cream/beige for B&W. I have researched the issue as I can. It is not my Windows night light; my drivers and PC are apparently all updated; everything is working fine. I checked to see if the same happened with Vimeo videos and it did. I'm running W10.

   Interestingly, the pop-up thumbnails one gets when hovering over the timeline as not affected; they look fine.
   One post by someone else was answered that it was a GPU driver issue; another said it's only with HD videos.
   I'm a B&W photographer and would really like to get back to normal again. 
   Any ideas?

2. One of the sites is NSFW, but by default they're all hidden, some text may say "18+", etc, but no NSFW images were shown in the footage

With update 113.0.2 I am seeing 13 processes running using 670mb of memory with no add-ons running and the support tab open. The browser starts crashing with six or seven tabs open.

When I read a pdf online it gets downloaded even though FF is set to always ask. When it asks I choose open with FF or open with Adobe Reader . Both downloads the file to my download folder. It doesn't ask what foder to download to even though I have FF set to ask where to download to in settings/general

I tried setting browser.download.improvements_to_download_panel to false as here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1370494 but it didn't help

What is it about YouTubeTV in Firefox that breaks my ability to control playback? I can click with mouse, but shortcuts ("Play (k)", "Back 15 seconds (j)", or "Forward 15 seconds (l)") stop working repeatedly and I'm forced to go back to using my mouse (Wacom Intuos Pro M). This doesn't sound like a big deal until you're forced to watch an offensive "My Pillow" ad or worse, and I can't immediately stop the playback of these radicalized terrorists. Or if while watching a DVR recording, it stops allowing me to skip thru commercials, or pause playback without picking up my pen (mouse) to get back in control of the 'playback' features.

Strangely, this never happens on YouTube videos/content. Those same controls ('shortcuts') work fine there.

Hello, Firefox always downloads a pdf files from e-mail attachments, whether I open it in a browser or with acrobat reader. So, if I open the same file every time it goes to download folder with multiple clones, like example file-1, example file-2 etc. I've used every combination of options, but the result is always the same. I've refreshed Firefox, but nothing changed.

Please help me with this case.

Norton sign in screen loops with Firefox, works fine with Chrome and Edge. Norton support level 2 has tried for may hours to fix but they have suggested contacting Firefox support as it is a cookie and site certificate issue with Firefox.

After the recent update, the display of my gmail is now so wide in the display window, I have to scroll to the side & back & forth etc. to view the contents of the email on that page. It is too wide to display properly. This is an issue I had with Google, which was why I was using Firefox. Now you are as annoying as they are. I can't just make the whole thing smaller & hope it fits, as I have vision problems & cannot read smaller print if I do that. Can't I just go back to the previous version? I don't know how to do a screen shot of my email inbox page to show you.

I have lost my personal bookmarks list on the Mozilla Firefox Home Page. I now have numerous bookmarks, some which were in my personal list and some that I may have used in the past, but deleted them. Others are from an unknown source. Maybe a Firefox generated list. They aren't all familiar. Can Someone help me find my personal list that existed before the last update and restore that list.

I have firefox version 113.0.1 on two computers both running windows 10 Pro. the last update failed on both computers and firefox would not run so I reinstalled version 113.0.1 Any suggestions?

I just upgraded to windows 10 and have been restoring my computer to functional status. I have found that discord, tiktok and several other sites will not play videos on firefox. I have tried troubleshooting mode and private so i know it is across the board. I have also tried using addons to fix the problem to no avail.

I just updated to the latest version of FIREFOX 114.0 on Ubuntu 22.04. However, whenever a website looks for the version it is reported as 86. I am not using the SNAP version and it does not show up in SNAP LIST. Several websites have rejected access because of an outdated browser. Is this a bug or a setting that needs fixing? I had to reinstall windows 10 (this was done by Microsoft with my permission) and so firefox was uninstalled (long with all apps). i have reinstalled Firefox, but can't retrieve my old bookmarks. I have a file of very old bookmarks, but the "import/restore" function doesn't restore or import using that file. Help please. Can the up to date bookmarks be retrieved from my uninstalled Firefox?

Hi, Firstly, I'm fairly new to this - so apologies if I don't describe this very well, or leave out any obvious info....

We use PKI certs generated by a third party - and I'm in the process of installing the Vsphere v7 certificate. We've got a process which I've followed once before and been fine. But this time, after I install the certificate, Firefox gives me a "SEC_ERROR_CERT_NOT_IN_NAME_SPACE" error. The only other Browser we have on our system is IE. When I entered the url of the Vsphere server, in IE - it did give me the Vsphere login screen OK. When I clicked on the padlock in the address bar, the new certificate was there, complete with its chain (Root CA and intermediate) and the dates were as expected. So it look like the PKI cert install has worked. However, I need it to work in Firefox. I'm a bit out of ideas. I did find this post:

But when I checked the Permitted name constraints of our intermediate CA, the expected domain was in there, so I assumed that wasn't the issue (if I've understood this correctly). Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I had 20 tabs open on one screen. I moved one tab off the the 2nd screen so I could see info between two pages at the same time. When I was done, I closed the browser with the 19 tabs so I was left with one tab browser on the 2nd screen. Unfortunately now I lost all 19 tabs because when I click restore Recently Closed Windows (tabs) the only thing that listed is the tab I already have open.

This has been an issue for a LONG time. I have to remember to close the temporary browser tab 1st then close the main browser with all the other tabs open LAST. I HATE that I lose everything if I don't close the split browser in that order.
