No matter what I seem to do, message "plug-in may be busy - continue or stop script" or something close to that, keeps coming up again and again and my PC hangs especially video have a Toshiba Portege running Windows 7 Pro. Have refreshed Firefox but no help. Also keep getting messages regarding Adobe requesting more bytes. Have been to Adobe site but while lots of chatter regarding these type of errors, no real fix seems to be available. I am an older woman, not a techie or 16 years old so these type of problems are really difficult for me if the directions on how to do something are not minute. I appreciate any help I can get and hope I have outlined what is happening somewhat clearly. Thank you very much for your kind attention.

I have Firefox on my old laptop (PC) with 300+ tabs open. I want to keep those tabs and transfer them so I can see them in Firefox on my new laptop (also PC). So I created my Sync account in Firefox on the old laptop, then logged in with the same account in Firefox on the new laptop. But my tabs were not there. How do I transfer my open tabs?

My computer and operating system are archaic - xp - and a very old computer but flash player has run in the past. Firefox blocks any attempt to update adobe flash player citing vulnerability. And yet they give NO option for viewing videos on you tube or any other site. What can I do? I click the Always Allow box but Flash Player is still blocked.

It has only been in the past 2 days. Before no issues at all.. I have tried clearing - cache, cookies, reinstalled FF. restarted the computer. turned off each add-on individually. Started in safe mode.

Oh, and in Fishworld a certain part of it has stopped working too but is still ok in IE.. See the speech bubbles top right of top pics to compare the IE and FF responses..

I am totally out of ideas and any assistance you could send my way would be greatly appreciated.

Firefox sometimes refuses to start and a warning note saying (ddl c:\program files\mozilla firefox \xul.ddl) is a problem, I reboot the computer 2-3 times and it eventually starts. Can someone tell me what is wrong,

I've been using my own Sync 1.5 server since January without having any issue until this week.

I am unable to sync my clients, getting the "Sync encountered an error while synching: Unknown error, Sync will try again automatically."

The problem seems to happen at line 101 (on pastebin).

Here's some more info about my setup.

Syncserver 1.5.2 installed on a local server running on Linux.

I have 1 Windows client, 2 Linux clients. None of them can sync. All uses Firefox 38.0.

Anyway, it takes you to go.daddy where the site has been parked. How can this ad be gotten rid of because when I first saw the ad I wasted sometime because I thought it was a advisory regarding my Firefox browser. OK How do we get rid of this ad?

Yes hello, as the title says some videos go slow after i pause em to look on something else, specifically in a site called animeplus.tv i watch the videos there, then i pause em for a bit to check for something else, or another video in another site or well whichever reason, the thing is when i return to this video and resume playing it, it gets very slow playback, the audio is fine, but the video itself is not working properly, so far i just seen this issue happen in that website but perhaps is the flash player? i dunno i removed a addon that i though could be the issue but is not. and when i try this on Google Chrome, it works fine, i pause the video check for other stuff, and the video still plays like normal. so i am hoping for some ideas in what to do cause i do like Firefox and i do not want to transfer over to another browser.

I manage a website (melissachappell.com), which has pdf articles in an iframe on the html page. After the latest update (on 07/08/2015) PDF's are now downloading to my downloads folder instead of opening on the page as intended. I don't like this because 1) it clogs up my downloads folder and 2) the page looks weird now because the iframe is blank. Is there any way to change this to have the PDF open on the page instead (as it did before)?

Accidentally or after upgrade (I did not notice) I got bookmarks side bar at right part of FF window. Instead of default left side, where it was before.

How can I get bookmarks sidebar back to the left side? Where it is placed by default in other installations of FF.

P.S. I saw several answers about Ctrl+B. It is not the case. I can hide it and bring back. But I need it at left side instead of current location.

Since the latest Firefox download, I'm having the occasional problem where a certain page will suddenly scroll to the bottom and all efforts to scroll back up prove unsuccessful. Sometimes this affects all pages across all tabs, sometimes only certain pages. Closing and re-opening the browser has no effect. The only way to get back to normal is to restart the computer. Is this a Firefox problem?

I'll jump out to read an article, but when I return, the browser always takes me back to the top foxnews rather than go back to were I was. How can I fix this?

Yesterday, when I launch my Firefox, it showed as to open in safe mode, disabling add on's, so i refuse and launch it. SO there showed a progress bar and it came full, so i closed it. and try to relaunch Firefox. It showed the account is not properly synced and cannot launch. Then I uninstall Firefox restart the computer and reinstall a latest version from browser. Administration authorization is asked then no response. I tried an old version, an extraction progress showed, return to administrative authorization and still unresponsive. Is there any way I can reinstall my Firefox with the old facility, Although the history and add on materials are fully synced (I suppose). Please provide a necessary solution.

Using Ubuntu Firefox Version 39. Just upgraded and it has a new TILES feature which pops up when I try to do a "new tab", at which point it freezes the system. It tells me I can disable it by clicking on a symbol which at one time I was able to click on but was not able to find what it was that I should turn off. Is there some other way to turn off this blasted feature since I cannot use Firefox at all under these circumstances. Please help. Thanks (Cannot share Data since this is another computer)

in any web sites the obtion for flash player:ASK ME TO ACTIVATE works except for facebook!i mean i can not disable flash player in facebook when set firefox to ASK ME TO ACTIVAT for flash player. thanks.
