I have seen multiple copies of this question, some unanswered, some with the same "answer". All the questions are closed so I cannot reply to them. The "answer" does not work.

I have the "Show tabs from other devices" sidebar. I also can access from "Open application menu" > email address > list of synced tabs. Both methods show me the device name and all of my synced tabs. Neither method has an "open all tabs" option. If I right click my device name nothing happens. If I right click a tab, it opens that one tab. I don't know how many tabs I have on my Android. I have enough tabs that it only shows the infinity symbol instead of the number. It has shown the infinity symbol for a long time and I've opened many more tabs since. It could be hundreds or even thousands of tabs. I have 224 tabs on my laptop. I want to open all 224 laptop tabs plus all however many Android tabs on my laptop at the same time. I'm aware this will cause significant lag on my laptop. I'm not looking for a solution for that or people telling me not to do that. I want to know how to open all of my synced tabs at once on my laptop, without having to click through one by one.

I just brought a 3070... played with it and 2 days later (today) i was watching a movie and the screen turned black. Reinstalled windows, because it keeped happening.... found it that it seems to be the GPU died after 4 days for no reason at all (so i'm not in the best mood right now).

After reinstalling windows and installing firefox i notced that my bookmarks from my profile are gone and no matter what i do they seem to be gone.

This is really confusing to me, because last time i had to reinstall windows firefox loaded my bookmarks and even autoinstalled the addons that i had "in my account".

What happened? Why is everything gone? Not only did by new GPU chose to die on a saturday night... i just also seem to have lost my bookmarks of the last 8 years (some of them i do really need).

At first i thought that i have to select something to import the bookmarks, but since even my addons are gone i wonder where it all went.

I just reset my password because I had forgotten it and I found out none of my other passwords are saved :(. In the description it said that data is encrypted and there MAY be some losses.. but is it possible that all is lost?

I’ve just signed in to my Firefox account for the first time in approximately two years. I’ve deliberately clicked “Later” when it suggested to sync my data. A few seconds later I found myself with messed up preferences, merged extensions, what else? (And that’s the worst that I don’t know what else is wrong.) There are three absolutely wrong things here: Sync has enabled despite I had explicitly said no; it didn’t ask what to sync before syncing; and it’s absolutely unclear how it resolves conflicts. I would very much like to know what exactly data was affected and what exactly had happened to it, and how Sync handles conflicts, especially in regards to extensions’ data. Thanks.

My Windows 10 recently crashed and i had to reinstall the OS, needless to say that everything was missing. So i re-install Firefox which i have been using for years with the same account. Re-installed, I synced my account with email and password, And there was nothing to sync, I lost everything and i'm wondering why? Anyone got an answer before i delete this crap forever?

Hi, I reinstalled MacOs and when I tried to re sync all my data was lost. I changed the password because I could't remember it. I lost markers passwords, please please someone help me. Please help! thanks

Since v112.0.2 my Firefox logged itself out of Sync and will not allow me log back in. When I click the "Sync and Save Data" in the pulldown menu, the page spinner just spins and spins. The login page never loads.

Oddly, I couldn't even login to my Mozilla account here to post this. I had to use "Ungoogled" Chromium to load the page. I've never had any Sync issues with FF, that I can remember. This just "appeared" with v112.0.2 and continues with v113.0.

I did try to access the Sync login page while in Safe (Troubleshooting) Mode... no difference, though; same spinning spinner.

I'm running Slackware Linux on a desktop computer. No other changes have been made on this system other than upgrading from FF v112.0.1. to v112.0.2. This is when the Sync issue started.

Any ideas? Any assitance would be very much appreciated. I could just go to Chromium full-time, but I would not want to do that. I've been a Mozilla browser user for 23 years. The Chromium is only on my system as a backup browser, along with SeaMonkey. Yeah... I have a Seamonkey. :)

Anyway, thanks in advance for any help/ideas to allow me to troubleshoot/resolve this.

I have never used Sync before. I have searched for, and read, everything I can find on the forum, but still need clarification. I'll first explain my computer setup in my home.

I have 3 different Lenovo laptops, all running Linux Mint with Firefox. I'll call these laptops the way I use them so that is clear. I have this laptop, which I will call Daily Driver. I have a laptop that I use as a file server for backups of all my data, which I'll call Server. Then I have a third laptop which is ready to step in and replace either of the other two in case of a hardware failure, which I'll call Spare.

What I'd like to do is be sure my all my bookmarks are the same on all three laptops. After reading, it it fairly clear that if I add a new bookmark on this Daily Driver and then run Sync, the new bookmark will be added to the bookmarks on both the Server and the Spare. What I can't seem to find is a clear explanation of what happens if I remove a bookmark here on my Daily Driver.

So, my question is, will Sync remove a bookmark from the Server and the Spare if I have removed it from the Daily Driver? My main concern is having new bookmarks removed from the Daily Driver if I haven't had the Spare running for a few days and the fire it up and run Sync. If I have added 10 or 12 new bookmarks on the Daily Driver, will Sync remove those new bookmarks from the Daily Driver?

The closed captioned text is out of sync with the video. The captioning is running well ahead (20-30 seconds) of the video, which renders it nearly worthless. Can I sync picture and text somehow, or is that in the domain of the content provider?

I am having issues with Firefox Sync. I know the data is synchornized - however all my saves sites, and bookmars appers only on New Tab. When I clikc on one of the saved sites, it opens the site but all saved tabs disappear, like it wasn't synchronised. Why all dync data appear only when I open new Tab but entering any addres deletes that data? Help please

Hey All. Please do an update so that All contacts load in Yahoo mail on Firefox desktop or supply possible fix? I went online and the 2 most recent Firefox updates have apparently caused the yahoo mail contacts to not be loaded when Composing an email. I've had to do a couple by hand. It was working fine before. Why change ? Really. As you are aware, lots a people use Yahoo mail. Some online info suggests i update to Adobe Flash 17. Not going to happen as it is no longer supported by Adobe. Please help as apparently there are many with this issue. Always like Firefox until now... Christoph

My computer suffered a Ransomeware attack and all programs/files are encrypted and disabled. I need to recover all stored Firefox log in and password info but don't know my personal Firefox login password on the affected Firefox account to enable Sync. From what I read, if I reset the password, I'll lose the info. I also don't have an account recovery key. Please help.

Hello, I've looked through the help docs for FF sync and Apple Handoff but am not sure which (or both?) of those may be causing this.

With both devices on and FF open, and on the same wifi, there appears an additional FF dock icon that when clicked opens up one tab from the other device.

How can I turn this off?

Super annoying and not useful at all. I have FF sync turned on and it's so easy to grab an open tab from another device via sync.
