Hi there! It started yesterday. I keep getting warning messages from Bitdefender that a connection Firefox was trying to establish was blocked. I will include a screenshot of the warning. I searched the link included in the warning and it comes up as a Firefox related link. I had six or seven of these warnings within the last 3 hours of using the computer and am concerned and irritated. Firefox is updated automatically on this computer and I think the last major change would have been the "cookie jar" thing(?). Obviously, the warning only says that the a certificate has expired. On 10/5/2024 I suddenly had no access to my saved passwords for websites, all my bookmarks were gone and no autofill works anymore. I have searched and searched for anything relating to these missing saves in password manager, I've used EaseUS, I've tried system restore. It's like my my saves were completely wiped! When I did a system restore, Firefox uninstalled itself completely when it shouldn't have. Now it's like I never had Firefox on this pc and there's no history or anything dated before today 10/6/2024. I've tried import from other browsers and there's nothing there. I'm a bit upset here, is my history, saved passwords, bookmarks and, autofill just gone and irretrievable?

when I watch 360 videos on youtube, the video glitches. Like it stutters, as if its going back and forth in frames constantly. Before, it did not use to do that. I could watch the 360 videos just fine. I even tried refreshing and reinstalling firefox. It did not work. Please help.

I have been using the Bank of America website for many years. I have not made any changes to the settings! With the recent update of Firefox, Bill Payment on the website stopped working and I get:

Since this used to work until the last update, I think that the bug is with Firefox. Also, it works on Edge.

Payments methods are in place in firefox. When hover over payment method required can see payment options but when select does insert payment method in field. requires authentication is not activated

Hey, since yesterday ( 6/10/2024 ) my installation ( currently version 131.0 ) had a weird change. When opening the app it would create a new instance on my taskbar, while I thought unusual at the time it did also remove its ability to use the taskbar context menu, only having the pin to taskbar option.

Below are some images of this, the first two being the missing context menu from both Firefox installations, the original one is the one that has the frequents tab.

Having spent a frustrating weelend being unable to log into Coventry Building Society's online banking app, I 'phoned the this morning to be told they consider Firefox insecure and no longer support its use. The app accepts my username & password, tells me they are going to 'phone me with an access code and then displays "Page not found". Anyone know of any other bank or similar who would believe Firefox to be insecure?

First noticed the issue on 10/03 where while watching some streams on twitcth, I noticed that audio would play smoothly but the video feed was stuttering every other second. Have gone through and made several changes to the about:config section, some of those changes include.

layers.acceleration.force-enabled media.hardware-video-decoding.force-enabled network.http.throttle.version media.suspend-bkgnd-video.enabled

Also checked the stream stats for twitch while watching and compared them to what happens when watching the same stream on chrome and noticed that in Firefox, the FPS counter would completely disappear and my skipped frames would increase by the several thousands.

When compared to Chrome, which has been actively playing the stream for nearly 2 hours plus, my skipped frames has not jumped anywhere near the levels Firefox has.

Changing the latency mode does nothing, stream quality doesnt make a difference. The only way to stop the stuttering is to refresh the page or stream, but this issue occurs every 5-10 minutes when prior to 10/03 issue never occured.

From what I can tell the issue also occurs on Youtube. Issue also gets worse if I were to click onto another Firefox window/tab.

Note: the ss with the massive amount of skipped frames is Firefox, and the other is Chrome.

Note2: Troubelshoot mode didnt help either as after letting it sit longer the same problem would occur

The web site for Pacific Gas and Electric (pge.com) rejects Firefox and lists other browsers that it will accept. Does anyone at Mozilla care about such rejections?

On 2015 MBP Mac OS El Capitan 11.6 new Firefox 78.15.0 esr won't sync with my older MBP running El Capitan 11.6 but it will sync to the 2015. How do I get the 2015 replacement computer to sync?

I kinda need your help. I just switched from Windows to Manjaro Linux and I cannot retrieve my Firefox bookmarks and passwords. I do not have access to the old setup because I have formatted the disk and I have only this one on Linux.

I have used my Firefox account multiple times in order to login on a new device and every time it has retrieved my bookmarks and passwords but not this time. Before logging in from this device I had to reset my Firefox password because I had forgot it -- is this a security measure maybe?

Are my bookmarks and passwords gone forever? Thanks!

make firefox so it can sync the toolbars across networked computers. why does this not work. sync seems useless.

there is not button on taskbar to implement dark mode, but it is on several other firefox computers.

but it will not sync to toolbar for use, so dark mode cannot be clicked. pretty useless.

I just freshly reinstalled my Windows 11 but for whatever reason cant log in to my Mozilla account. An error message keeps appearing, stating "account disconnected" I tried reinstalling Mozilla and starting it in safe mode, it just accepts my password and says that im logged in, but immediately follows it with a little yellow triangle over my account icon and says that i am disconnected.

I few minutes ago, I was signed in to my google email and other accounts and needed to log out. Now, when I try to re-sign-in, I can no longer access the google/gmail sign in page, I get directed to the "Clear cache" page. I've cleared my cache and cookies a number of times, restarted the computer and firefox (my firefox is up to date). I contacted google; they say the issue is with firefox. Everything was working fine an hour ago, but now I'm shut out? I can access the sign in page if I open the page in a "private" browser window. Anyone else having this issue? Any help?

Everything was normal before the update. When I did the update, the menus changed, the bookmarks disappeared, the new tab key disappeared, how do I get it back to its original state?
