Seriously, what are you thinking, when every competitor in the browser community provides this form of personalisation, which is extremely important to the majority of it's users. Hi, asking on behalf of my friend who is paranoid that he now has adware.
He has the default firefox homepage setup with the 'recommended stories' enabled. He noticed that on one occasion it had a banner ad in between the recommended stories redirecting to an affinity.net link. He has ublock origin.
He even made a mockup of what it looked like, attached the image.
I couldn't actually replicate this on my end, are these official mozilla ads?
