Hello! Since a month I have a strange problem - Firefox wont connect to any Google service - REcaptcha, google-analytics. Any site that uses these services would not load, or loads and waits until connection expires. I tried refreshing Firefox, the uninstalling and re-installing - the problem remains. I do not use any proxy or firewall on my computer. Opera and other browsers do not have this problem. Please, advice.

I can't turn off lazy loading. I set the following about:config settings to "false":

browser.sessionstore.restore_on_demand browser.sessionstore.restore_tabs_lazily browser.sessionstore.restore_pinned_tabs_on_demand

Nothing changes. When I start Firefox, it simply won't load all tabs. How do I fix this?

I am trying to have Firefox show an "X" on every tab as soon as I hover above it. I followed a certain article and implemented this code:

This code is however not being implemented no matter how many times I restart Firefox. 'toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets' is set to True The location is userChrome.css is '/home/user1/.mozilla/firefox/yqomjsh9.default-release-1672744596809/chrome/userChrome.css'

What could be the issue? I tried adding executable permissions using "chmod" but that did not change anything.

entire firefox toolbar enters overflow menu thingy when i watch videos in full screen (player full screen not FF/f11 fullscreen), this also happens even when i reset toolbar to default, all of it still enters overflow, and i have to press F11 twice to get it "out" this is totally new, (didn't even know there was an overflow thingy), in over a decade of firefox never encountered this seen it, to the point i didnt' realize overflow was a thing, and on a new install i can't seemingly to get it to not keep "eating" my toolbar

this is super annoying, and i would really really like a way to "Lock" my toolbar so this doesn't happen, and i can't imagine it's normal in anyway, specially when it happens on default and a clean install/empty browser, please help get back to normal toolbar "sticky"

Hi, can you help? I can't access morphy richards website from my phone and my pc through Firefox. I can access it through Microsoft Edge on my pc and my Samsung Internet app on my phone but not through my Firefox app or windows 11 Pro desktop pc. I get this message on my pc

Steps I have taken is clearing data, history and cache on pc, turning off mcafee firewall. I use my pc through a wired Internet connection and my phone through Wi-Fi and data and it's the same on both I can't access the website. Like I mentioned I can access it no problems through Microsoft Edge on my pc and Samsung Internet app on my phone so I have now pinpointed it to Mozilla Firefox being the issue, also this is the only website I have issues with. Hi Firefox community, I don't want to store any account login data (also not usernames) on the shared PC that I'm using. In settings > passwords there is no entry, and under access data and passwords any options are deactivated. Although passwords are not stored, Firefox shows the user names/account names whenever I click such field. Where can I deactivate that user names/account names are stored and shown? On starting FF now there is no focus, so other prog's can't e.g. open FF then download or enter a link, etc. directly. That is is a huge nuisance. Also Ctl+H or B (History or Bookmarks) don't work until the cursor is clicked within FF which is a major concentration breaker. Is there something in the settings to give FF focus when it opens like it has always done in the past? I don't like changing things in there without guidance. It's not just me, my wife's laptop is having the same issues.

Hello all, First of all thank you for the good quality of mozilla products. I am using mainly firefix and thunderbird on linux (Ubuntu) on all my computers, that of my children and of any friend I can convert to open-source computing.

I have done all possible documented actions to configure firefox for blocking pop-ups, including standard (permissions in privacy & security settings) and advanced (filter on autoplay parameters in about:config) options available. I keep receiving pop-up windows with unwanted videos, e.g. on my paid subscription to a local news website. See the attached screen capture, where I right-clicked on the pop-up window. You will see that a "digiteka" player keeps appearing and I never sollicited these videos. I hate this. It's not even pub, it's news, but when I'm reading an article I don't want to be bothered with other news that I'm not interested in. Plus, I don't want any unauthorised software like this digiteka player running on my computer without my permission. It's not a firefox module, it's probably silently downloaded over my connection with my news provider with no notice. I could go as far as blocking autoplay so the video will not start playing automatically, but I would like to completely block the apperance of such windows and any download of something executable on my computer. What could I do in addition? I there any way, other than stopping my subscription to this site?

There is one particular website which is a necessary site for me. It is "realestate.com.au". To date, this is the only website displaying these quirks, however there could easily be more which I have not yet tripped over. The home page will open, but trying to open anything under it (account, login, search etc.) results in a plain white page with no data. I can operate the site normally on Chrome or Safari so it is clearly something in Firefox settings. I have tried to install a back version (107) to check that the latest uplift didn't introduce any undesirable attributes. I cannot see any settings which may be causing this so any hints or suggestions from the community would be greatly appreciated.

I installed version 108.0.2 on my Windows 10 laptop and now my address bar are on the right side of my screen and the bookmarks are taking up the left side. There seems to be no preference to drag the address bar where I want to position it to where I was used to seeing it in the previous version.

Please let me know what I need to do to be able to customize positioning of the bookmarks and the address bar (I combined the address bar/search bar in preferences Settings under about:preferences#search.

Every time I open Firefox and search for something it comes up in Spanish and there is a box to check if you want English. I have checked my preferred language in the settings and that is English (US) and I also did a purge caches and when I close Firefox and re-open it reverts back to Spanish with the box to check if you want English. I also have Chrome on my system and it works properly. If I change my search to using Bing it also works properly. I am not sure if this is a Firefox issue or a Google issue and I would appreciate any assistance I can get. I also re-downloaded Firefox to make sure I had the English option and did a re-install, with no change. I would appreciate ant assistance I can get. Thnaks.

When I tap the middle mouse wheel to enable auto-scrolling (with no additional inputs like clicking, scrolling, or keyboard inputs), on release of the middle mouse wheel, auto-scroll disappears. I can only use auto-scroll while holding down the middle mouse wheel.

I've reached out to other's and this seems to not be the intended/default behavior. I've confirmed middle-mouse wheel scroll (where it's a tap / toggle) works on Chrome as well as other applications like Spotify.

I would like to have it as a toggle. What can I do?

You can see from the first image that I had unchecked the "Block pop-up windows". But then if a page wants to pop up the windows like running "for(let i = 0; i < 24; i++) window.open("about:blank")", the result will be the second image. Firefox still keeps blocking despite my setting. And there is no even option like "allow the pop-ups" in the Options menus on the info bar.

For weeks I have been trying to find a solution to getting "Error 15" on certain websites when using Firefox. Opera and Edge have no problems with those sites, only Firefox has problems. I have tried every "fix" that I can find on the Mozilla site and none of them work. Is there anything else I should try before I abandon Firefox? Could it be that Firefox is now unreliable under Win7 Pro 64-bit? If so I will have to abandon it because this computer cannot run Win10 or later.

Hello, I am struggling with a bug specific to Firefox (108.0.2) in which I have an XHR Post that is being blocked by dev tools only when a google captcha is selected. Here is the website that the bug is happening on. Per comment suggestions I've added a screen shot of the URL being blocked in dev tools.

My overall goal is to have this form post it's action and post the form data to another endpoint (https://beeceptor.com/console/preferencecenter). I am able to successfully post data to beeceptor with the captcha selected when testing in Chrome, but as stated not Firefox. If the form is submitted without the captcha selected the data is successfully posting to the beeceptor endpoint- this behavior is happening with both Chrome and Firefox which I am sure means something is wrong with my Javascript which can be resolved later.

Looking at the console in Firefox I am consistently seeing a XHR Post blocked to the beeceptor url with captcha selected. I have gone through several iterations of this code to resolve the issue, none of which have successfully worked. After many, many, hours of digging I have done the following to no avail.

• Cleared Cache
• Ran in Safemode then back to regular mode (one article this appeared to fix for a user)
• Ran in Private Browsing
• Adjusted CORS accordingly

There are more items I've attempted that I can't remember off the top of my head.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as I have hit a wall.

Hey all, (thanks for the continued work on firefox and happy new year) I use Firefox sync from multiple devices in my ecosystem, a micture of all three main OS (Windows, Linux and macOS / IOS). Some time ago, I must have had one device which probably generated a new device UID everytime it synced, or some kind of bug in the Firefox IOS client. This results in having a large magnitude of devices in my firefox sync account. I can only delete them one-by-one with a confirmation dialogue and a reload of the page, which is really cumbersome. I have the feature request of some easier device management policy here. Ideas would be either a "delete all" button and afterwards signing in again on all still active devices, or a series of check boxes to perform actions like a delete on multiple devices at once, perhaps even with a "select all" shortcut at the top. Hi. I am in Mac Big Sur and Firefox 108. I tend to keep a lot of windows open and navigate among them using the "Window" pulldown menu at the top between "Tools" and "Help". It used to be that the latest window more or less stayed at the bottom and the others stayed in order so they were easy to find quickly. A recent upgrade made it so the windows are now alphabetized and constantly shuffling. Since they are alphabetized by the name in the page title, this often offers no clue as to what it is--like it might be alphabetized under like cart or home page or main or something general like that. Also, if you have different tabs in a window, that window might jump from the top to the middle if a different tab is last looked at. Bottom line: it is very difficult and non-intuitive to find a page when you have a lot of windows open--but it used to be easy. Is there a way to order the wondows the way you want them or go back to the chronological order of before? Seems like there must be a setting somewhere. Thanks so much for any help.

In firefox 108.0.2 I need to have a wider vertical scroll bar, the tiny thin bar is next to impossible to use. Same in Thunderbird 102.6.1 both are in Linux and the published css solutions (a year ago) on mozilla support do not work for these versions
