I'm having real problems with the pop up "find text" box that appears at the bottom of my Macbook Pro when I try to enter data on web pages since I updated Firefox a few weeks ago. I can find articles on disabling this feature for PCs, but nothing for Macs. Please help !

Using latest Firefox browser, when I open Google and want to ‘paste’ a word, it will not let me. Instead I get this default message, that I can’t delete. I can type anything I want, but I can’t ‘paste’ a word or words. How to fix please? HP desktop PC Windows 11 64 bit I see there is a 'new' (to me) AI mode icon in the 'same' search window as where you type on the 'right' of the search box. Maybe I just haven't noticed because I didn't have an issue before.

I wanted to set keywords for search engines (in order to quickly change them for a single query). This cannot be done for search engines by default (why?), so I had to delete them and create a new one with the same link and my own keywords. But now I can't give them the same name back, firefox says that such a search engine already exists. In general, it doesn't matter to me which letter is there. The main purpose of my appeal is to draw attention to the fact that search engines cannot be edited by default, because it is quite inconvenient. Hello. I searched a solution for some time now, how to remove any typing of a search in google for instance, to be displayed in url bar. I read some articles with words I don't understand, like userchromecss or whatever : I do not work in computer science or anything about it. I would like some well defined user friendly options or just don't mix two different things that will alter our experience using your product. Could you just correct the search procedure so url is url, and query is query? I would love this to be corrected. Search queries on the page, and internet addresses in url bar. Thank you.

bold text When tring to open a know web site this https://orbitsearchonline.com always says it cannot verify as a secure site or something close to that. I think this is a tracker.

I still have windows 8.1. I do all my bill paying online. I can no longer open my banks website for online business. I thought Firefox had renewed support through 2026? Wasnt Firefox a search engine? The listed search s - none of them open banks etc.

When I do a search in Firefix for "Quattro" it takes me to the weong page, namely https://more.mariosearch.com/search?uid=9bd4019de8c1003382e27c7bf792ee38&pid=s50002&install_date=20-09-2025&q=Quattro

I have my default search engine set to brave but every time I go to search for something it flicks back to google without my consent. There are no pop up boxes or steps asking me to approve this switch. It just does it on its own.

What is it with my default search engine constantly being changed behind my back? Is the Firefox update doing this? Is something else? Can't it be locked down so that only I can change it in the Settings menu? It really annoys me that I suddenly find I'm doing a google search when I, after research and deliberation, set the browser to search with DuckDuckGo.

Hi, I always prefer using DuckDuckGo.com because they are totally private but use it together with Mozilla as my browser, would I still be able to do that?
