Good afternoon. I now have all my firefox push site notifications set to come through on the desktop even if the browser is closed. However only when I open the browser do the notifications come across as banners and show in the action center on the desktop. How do I have them show without accessing Firefox? Thank you.

How do I ensure that I receive email notifications when there's a response to a question I've posted on this forum?

In my profile settings, "edit settings," I've checked the box "watch forum threads I start," and in "manage watch list" I've checked "questions."

I see I've received a response to a question I posted, but I've received no email. How do I ensure that I receive emails?

"Email me when someone answers the thread" on this page has also been selected.

Also, why are their two separate setting sections as noted above? And why am I only subscribed to the one question (under "manage watch list") I posted earlier today when I've been subscribed to my previous questions in the past? I can't even find an option to subscribe to my other previously asked questions.

Yesterday, I started receiving "alert" notifications (system, browser, data has been taken) directing me to"cvmuuo8hubcc73b6fts0.premiumnetwork.co.in

How can I get rid of these notifications?

www.usatoday.com Keeps sending notifications through Mozilla. when I click on "disable notifications" it only opens up a new tab to the site. I checked my homepage settings and as far as i know i have not installed a USA today extension. How do I make this go away? I would straight up block the domain if I knew how.

I found it in privacy /security> notifications and eliminated the website. This may have fixed the issue? I do not recall ever allowing the site to give notifications in the first place. is there a way to lock this domain out completely?

Even in the notification setting found under privacy and security there are no sites listed, however, I am continuing to get banner notifications even after uninstalling the browser.

A while back I recieved a firefox update, installed it with no problem but it seems the notification message is forever locked into my home page. Nothing I do will wipe it out. Ideas?

I am trying to turn off notifications for Zynga in W11. Zynga is not listed in Notifications setting--only Firefox or Thunderbird. I do not want to stop all Firefox notification jut Zynga..any suggestions?

The small green dot in the upper right that notifies me of a pending update is gone, since several months. When I navigate to About Firefox, or in the settings, I can see that a new version is available and it lets me install the update. But I miss being able to see the notification.

Did I disable some setting by mistake? Auto-updates should be turned on as far as I know.

I keep getting nuisance popup prompts to sign into an old gmail account I had linked to my firefox program. I have since deleted this email from firefox and closed the gmail account but keep getting these popups asking me to log into this old gmail. How do I fix this??

When I open Zen Browser, instead of showing the home page with my pinned pages and weather, I get a black screen. This is kind of frustrating because I have tried so many times to fix the problem but it doesn't work. I need your help, thanks.

I'm running Debian Buster, no outstanding updates, with Firefox 115.12.0esr. I recently got a message on starting Firefox that said an update was needed before 03/15 or I would lose certificate checking and other bad things. Looking at recent questions from Firefox indicated there had been occasions when "fake" update-needed messages appeared. The Firefox About display showed no indication of automatic upgrade download & installation occurring. How can I find out whether this is real or not? Thanks, Bill

I seem to have subscribed to franceinfo and am receiving notifications that are of no interest to me. How can I stop receiving notifications and unsubscribe to franceinfo ? I have not been able to find links on the website to do so myself.

On Windows, any notification coming from any Firefox extension, appears to be coming from the Firefox app. It would be cool to add a feature under (Privacy and Security --> Notification settings --> See attached image) that would allow to specify which extensions are allowed to send notifications and which are not.

Whenever I click on a notification news item it comes via The independent newspaper that I find very annoying. Is there a way of changing this? I was happy with Firefox the way it was until Microsoft mail was installed on my PC.
