I use both Firefox and DuckDuckGo. I also have NordVPN. Recently, I have been getting warnings through NordVPN that both Firefox and DuckDuckGo represent vulnerability risks. I have been using all three programs for some time now. This warning from NordVPN is something new. Is there a vulnerability risk or is there some in compatibility between new versions of these software packages?

I am using Windows 11 on a Microsoft Surface Pro 9.

Virusscanner warning supposedly from "Mozilla Firefox" On my laptop I get these fake warnings (see attachment). Every time Firefox is opened they appear. The virus scanner says there are no virussen. How do I get rid of this?

Everytime I restart my PC (Win 11) Firefox updates, even when there's no updates to install. At the same time It loses all personalization on menus and browser preferences. It retains extensions, bookmarks and passwords, but the rest is always gone. I reinstalled, refreshed, deleted everything and everytime I try to reinstall, it happens ALL over again. Can anyone help me?

Hi. For the past few months I have been unable to play samples from the Audible website in Firefox on my android phone. When I click the word "Sample" Audible opens up a new tab with their Web player and I always get an error message that is just a rectangular box with an exclamation mark inside a triangle on the left side of the box. (Screenshot attached.) There are no words inside the box and the only option is to close the tab. Since there is no actual message I'm not sure what the problem is.

Playing samples used to work fine when you could play them within their web page before Audible changed its system. I seem to be able to play samples on Audible's Web player in Chrome, but would prefer to keep Firefox as my default browser. I have tried deleting all history, cookies and cache; closing and reopening Firefox; turning phone off and starting again after an hour. I've also tried enabling autoplay, but that made no difference. I was thinking that the issue may be with my other settings within Firefox, but I can't tell. Any help you can provide would be great. On a website I sometimes visit, I will occasionally upload images to share. Recently, I was using network access to upload images from a different computer, but that machine started acting up, and so Firefox tries to re-open the shared folder I was using on that other machine if I try to upload a file and cannot connect, so the file selection doesn't show up and I cannot use any other controls, just get the error SFX instead and I have to restart Firefox by closing it using Task Manager in order to restore function. How do I reset what folder it tries to open for file upload so it does not try to open that inaccessible network folder? It softlocks every time now.

I've noticed that Firefox has been running very slowly on my computer recently. Pages take a long time to load, and the browser often freezes or becomes unresponsive. I've already tried clearing the cache and disabling extensions, but the problem persists. I'm using the latest version of Firefox on Windows 10. Are there any other troubleshooting steps I can take to improve performance for my website?

We still use some Dell 13g servers equipped with idrac 8. When I'm trying to launch the virtual Console the window opens up but nothing shows. This used to work fine in previous versions of Firefox. I can't tell from which version it stopped but it's not long ago. Also idrac 9 console works fine in Firefox When trying to open console idrac 8 in Chrome it works fine Any idea what could be causing it? Any config switch to tweak?

Version 120 (PC) continuously crashes and asks me to refresh and nothing happens (including after rebooting) so I had no choice to uninstall. I normally trust your updates but I'm really regretting this one. Can you help me not switch over to chrome? Maybe you're already aware of this bug and will have it fixed soon.

My computer was compromised And as a result I had to repair and re install my Microsoft operating system windows 10 pro. That procedure wiped out my Firefox browser and now I have no record. Is there a backup that the browser keeps on a cloud.

I went to a local website and ended up getting virus warnings, see photo. I doubt if it's real but I don't know how to get rid of the messages, or scan for the virus? I scanned with the Windows virus protection and the computer came back clean. I can and have turned the computer off and back on, no help.

I saw this same issue posted on here, but I press the shift key while using the Firefox browser and what appears to be a developer menu pops up at the bottom of the page, the crappy thing is this is occuring on my laptop so my keyboard is part of the computer lol

Long time ago I had this email let's say x@yahoo.com after some years i delete and made a new one x@gmail.com. On my PC every time I try to log in it goes like this: I put my x@gmail.com i put my password and it sends me a code on the same Gmail address... Very simple right? I put my verification code in and it says wrong password for email x@YAHOO.com... WHY DOES IT CHANGE MY EMAIL FROM GMAIL TO YAHOO ? I'M LOSING MY MIND I CAN'T LOG IN ON FRESH WINDOWS INSTALL!!!! I even reinstalled Mozilla, I've cleaned everything there is too be cleaned from the browser and same stupid "feature". Whyyyyyyyy????
