In my Settings, the browser's fallback language is set to Portuguese, without giving me any other language choice, nor leaving it blank. I assume this is the reason I keep seeing menus, notifications, etc., randomly popping up in Portuguese.

Sorry but I hate version 157, and would like to drop back to a previous version.

Is this possible? I can't seem to find a link to older versions anywhere.

I have saved on paper (!) my Mozilla and Firefox password but it is not recognised when I try to get passwords saved for sites in P&S To get P&S to fill in a password I have saved with firefox, it requests a password and I can't find a way to reset my password or if even the one I have saved is the right one. I assume that password must be saved by firefox because it automatically signed me in to this site...but I'm being blocked out of my sites because of this.

MacOS Tahoe 26.7.1 Firefox Ver 157.0 My download preferences are ignored and downloads go directly to download folder without asking. All downloads have a .part extension even after download is complete. I tried trouble shooting mode and then added a new profile but the problem happens in all instances.

a few days ago I bring up Firefox and try to access a website with the URL and it automatically goes to Google as a search. What has changed? and how do I get rid of it and have some control without going thru Google which I don't like to use?

The new lavender color for highlighting in the drop-down boxes and elsewhere is completely unwelcome. I want to restore the previous setting to blue. How do I do this? Lavender is a color I loathe and if I can't change it I will start using another browser.

yahoo mail is asking me to enable javascript. It isn't recognising my email and tells me to use another device (which does work), but I want to use laptop. Why is it asking for java when it's already installed?

Today I upgraded to v157 and since then can't download files properly. I thought it wasn't doing anything, but on checking my Downloads folder found that it was saving files in there but with random file names and adding .part to the end. My settings haven't changed, "always ask" is checked, but it doesn't ask me where to save, just puts it in Downloads. This has never happened before. I tried changing the file download location and it downloaded to the specified folder but still without asking). I can remove the .part and the file will open, but I don't know how to stop it doing this. I never had this problem before upgrading to 157. Can someone tell me how to fix this or is it a glitch in v157? Many thanks

I'm running Firefox 157.0 on MacOS Tahoe 26.6.2. The same lack of result occurs in all websites. I restarted the computer (several times), reinstalled Firefox, tested in troubleshoot mode, checked download settings, deleted history, blah, blah, blah. Nothing has worked, except to skip Save Image As... and switch to drag-and-drop.

Why would this suddenly happen after decades and thousands of successful uses of Save Image As...?

What other options do I have to restore Save Image As...?

I restarted my computer tonight and when I came back to Firefox, I found myself unable to right-click "Save As" images. I click "Save As" and then the window for me to select a file path / rename the file etc. just doesn't pop up at all.

I also notice that on a site with a "Save PNG" button that should also bring up this window, it also now does nothing.

I Refreshed Firefox through the "More troubleshooting options" and strangely this enabled me to save ONE image with a "Save As" right-click/button, but then trying a second time went back to no window popping up. I refreshed twice like this and both times only the first attempt would work before all others would be unresponsive.

Since the latest update (157.0). I am no longer able to save images, I tried all the options in the community forums and still no help. I tried changing the download folder and I'm not able to select "choose". I click and click and nothing happens. When I right click on an image or video and click save image/video as, nothing happens. No directory box pops up. No download happens. Nothing. I removed all extensions and still nothing. Is this just a new update bug or is something wrong with my browser?

Is there any way to revert to the old Firefox style before the update to 157.0 without downgrading? Bit too round for my taste and it's not as easy to recognise favicons, read tab names, and read bookmarks with the weird colour gradient in the background
