I am the developer of FastF1, an open source Python package for downloading and analyzing Formula 1 race results, timing data and telemetry. The package is widely used in the fan community for independent analysis of results. For some advanced features, the addon requires users to authenticate with their Formula1/F1TV account. Since their services don't have an open login API, a companion addon is required to allow users to sign in using their browser and the official website.

I have just noticed that my developer account has been banned and the addon was blocked in Firefox. I have not received any email about this and don't know why exactly this decision was made. I'd like appeal this and reinstate my account and the addon, but I don't know how to proceed from here.

A windows update occurred this AM 04/15/26 and it has affected my browsing. Don't know if this update effected my G mail. My U tube profile changed form browsing to history. example: when I click on to my U tube profile it brings up the last view I was browsing. I cannot refresh Firefox like before from the help menu, of which would select the profile I desire.

Whenever i try to connect to any site, it fails to load and displays the following error message:

This web site requires a secure connection. - The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because this web site requires a secure connection. - The issue is most likely with the web site, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. - You can notify the web site’s administrator about the problem.

When i press 'advanced' it says: [Site name] has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Firefox can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

This happens on every site i try to visit. I am on a samsung phone running android version 15. Other browsers do not have this problem (i am sending this from opera), and firefox works fine on my other devices.

Firefox browser has stopped opening websites on my Dell laptop. Get "secure connection failed" error message. Other browsers work just fine. I have refreshed, uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox from both firefox website (using Brave browser) and from MSN store.

Thank you for your help. I have two questions and concerns. 1. The title bar of Firefox displays "Original Profile". I've been using it as is, as there aren't any particular problems, but it bothers me, so I'm asking if there's a way to hide it. My second question is: 2. In Firefox settings → Search → Search Shortcuts, unnecessary search engines are displayed. Even if I delete them, they reappear when I change the language in the settings. Is this a Firefox specification? Is there any way to prevent them from being displayed again after deleting them?

Recently my system updated Firefox to version 149.0.2. It works great! However, it will not display my homepage which is yahoo.com. I can go to any other website and everything is normal. But when I click on the little house for "Homepage" it briefly displays and then goes blank.

This does not happen when I use a different browser.

Please advise.

When trying to search in Yahoo, using Firefox, About:Blank comes up instead in a new tab. I have to hit the X to close the new tab, and then hit enter again and I will then get my search results. I have 2 PCs and a laptop and they ALL are having this problem since the last Firefox update. I have tried ALL of the recommended fixes, I have refreshed firefox, cleared cache and cookies, turned off firewall, antivirus, extensions, etc. I have even tried some of the config recommended changes and NOTHING works. It is definitely a Firefox problem and NOT a yahoo problem because all works fine in Chrome and Edge.

Why cant I set it to always translate spanish to english??? That option is greyed out and every time i encounter a spanish page I have to manually translate it. Im getting tired of that.

Hello, Firefox has been giving me some troubles lately and I can't figure out how to resolve the problem. Since I haven't found any way to consistently reproduce crashes, it is very hard for me to tell if Troubleshoot Mode also experiences the crashes, and the time I can spend doing that is very limited. As previously stated, it is very inconsistent, but relatively frequent, sometimes it crashes very soon and several times in a day, others it doesn’t at all. Sometimes it crashes with several tabs open, sometimes with only one; sometimes it crashes while using a webapp, others it does so on the newspaper page. It might be more frequent while there are Electron Webapps open, but it's more a hunch than anything, since sometimes it happens without those. Sometimes I need to open XML files on my PC or in a network folder. If I open the file in the first tab in Firefox, it displays a neat and formatted rendering that makes it easier to read. However, if I open yet another tab, it displays a sequential text file that's difficult to read. How can I apply the style of the first tab to all open tabs? I've attached explanatory images (I hope). The second image shows how I'd like the XML file to always be displayed, regardless of the tab's position. Firefox 149.0.2 on windows 11
