Hello when I minimize my firefox 25 window by clicking on the icon in the taskbar, it vanishes into a background process. this has only happened since i updated to win 8.1. with win 8.0, i did not observe this behavior. I do not find the missing window under "recently closed tabs" or in the history. I cannot access it by clicking the icon in the taskbar again. If, however, I click a bookmark of one of the tabs which are open in the vanished window, it opens again with all the tabs active. This behavior makes it nearly impossible to reasonably work with firefox. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I would like a simple recent history list displayed when I click on the down-arrow on the right end of URL entry box. By which I mean a simple most-recently-visited-on-the-top list of URLs. What I get by default is a list that makes absolutely no sense to me, is in some unknown order, and is of no value whatsoever. I have no idea what algorithm is used to populate the list that is displayed leaving the URL line completely blank. I can't find an option that would set this list mode. I find the awesome bar awesomely annoying as is.

I used to use ctrl-shift-m to toggle Responsive Design View on and off, however this shortcut now brings up the main Firefox menu (which includes the Web Developer section that contains the menu item for Responsive Design View...)

Is there an easy way to get the shortcut working again.

There was a question/response about enabling/disabling JavaScript by using "about:config" Another question in the responses added another question, which I also have:

"Despite my Javascript for Firefox 23 being "enabled" ( I checked re the "about:config" steps above), some websites are still asking me to enable my Javascript to view content. "

I am now running NoScript which I know blocks JavaScript, but it was happening before I started NoScript.

I hope someone can answer that question now.

Each time Firefox open a file chooser: - when trying to choose the folder location to download a file. - when clicking on Firefox-> Save Page As - when trying to import bookmarks (import or import from HTML) - when using the Firefox user profile Tools, trying to change the profile folder - etc ...

it crashes instantly.

Same behavior: - in normal mode, - in safe mode, - in normal mode, with all add-ons removed, - fresh installation with new profile

OS : Window 8.1 up to date Firefox 25.0.1

It seems that the browser backgrounds itself, once I tap on the page the tab bar becomes active (ie. it's no longer faded out) and I can use my space bar or touch pad to continue scrolling down the page again.

Does anybody know whats happened to the webpage forward button. Is there a way to make it available? Or has it been done away with?

Hi all, I'm using firefox 25.0.1 and os is Windows 8.1. From someday I'm facing some issue that a white line appears in the header bar , attaching the screenshot. It sometimes appear and will disappear automatically,

Please tell me if anything I can do to resolve the issue.

I've a problem. I synced my data from desktop browser and then reinstall browser. After that i pressed Sync now, entered my credentials and i thought that this browser will download my data. But by this deeds i replaced my previous data. How can i restore it?

Mozilla crashed about 15 mins into a timed online assessment for my university course which i cannot repeat. On attempting to get info on the crash, so that my university could see that i wasn't lying about the time of the crash and the website i was on, the time stamp changed to when i clicked on the link for more detailed info.

I was wondering if there was anywhere i could get the original time stamp as the time seems to have changed on my about:crashes page as well.

Urgent help would be most appreciated.

My problem is that when I'm watching Videos in the web it goes about 15 seconds in to the video and then the video screen freezes but the audio continues BUT as a replay of about 10 back in the video. When these 10 seconds have passed the video continues along with the synced audio. After about a minute or two It happens again. 10 seconds video freeze and 10 seconds of audio replay. Which is really REALLY annoying. This only happens with my Mozilla Firefox browser, I've uninsulated it and installed it three times and I'm using Windows 8. (I know it sucks). I also got the latest version of Adobe Flash Player V11.

When I go into my email and try to read something a popup comes forward for scorpion or psychics or things like that. What is scorpion is it some kind of ad on. I am getting frustrated. Also when I try to pull up certain sites they don't come up. Like some horoscopes, I Village, Publishers Clearing House. I never had a problem before. Thanks Connie

My cat ran across my keyboard a month ago and the "home" icon disappeared from the top right corner of my screen. I have not figured out how to get the icon back. As of now, I have to close Firefox and open it again instead of clicking the "home" icon to get there. How can I restore the icon?

I have tried installing both the plugin and the stanalone installer for flash both with the same result. I have even created an additional account within windows with administrator status and tried to install flash within that account. Unfortunately it again says i have insuffient priveges.

Why did the font on my text suddenly become so tiny? Please NOTE that I have corrected this problem but I want to know why it did it in the first place as I have scoured the internet and cannot find the answer?
