Some websites (banks, pharmacies, etc) require periodic and frequent updates of passwords for security reasons. If a password is stored in Password Manager and such an occasion arises, how is this handled? For example, when this password is changed on the bank from simonsays1 to simonsays2 does this affect the password for ALL accounts using the simonsays1 or will that change the account only for the bank while leaving all other accounts the same at simonsays1 ? As you can imagine, this would make Password Manager not as convenient as it might seem. Or, is it possible to include the passwords that never change in Password Manager and exclude those-like the one in this example-that will change frequently? Thank you.

I want to block a site that keeps coming up wanting to change my Java program from "Oracle" Java to something else. Is there a way to block specific sites in Firefox?

I am running Windows 8.1 on a Toshiba laptop and have Firefox 25.0.1  Mozilla 26-1.0

My Firefox has been crashing a lot in the last few days. Just in the past hour it crashed 3 times already.

I also notice that Firefox is using a lot of RAM, and my computer asks me to close FF the whole time.

The ID of the latest crashes are.

I hope this can be solved, so I can keep using Firefox. I don't want to switch to another browser. Thank you!

I use nightly and i didn't do anything but today i open it up and ALL my addons are disabled and there is NO option to enable them. I switched to the appearance tab and those can be re enabled but none of the addons. Did it do a background update and lose all compatibility?

OS: Windows 8.1 (64 bit) x64 AMD E-300 Processor

I just got a new laptop and have discovered this issue: When I try to click links on some sites to open a lightbox or popup (usually for login boxes or photo slideshows) nothing happens. Absolutely nothing, no error message, no loading screen, no "busy" or "working" animations, no redirect. I've tried the same pages in the latest versions of Internet Explorer and Chrome and they work correctly. These sites work on my old laptop with the same version of Firefox and Vista SP2 32 bit and my work computer with Windows 7 64 bit.

I've tried disabling Add-Ons one by one and as a group, didn't make a difference. I've cleared the cache and cookies. I've turned by firewall and antivirus/antispyware/antimalware programs on and off.

Sites with a known issue: "View larger images" on Zillow.com, Login on Moviepilot.com, Login on doubletakedeals.com. I can't remember any others at the moment.

Windows File History backs up certain folders ( Documents, Music, Pictures, Videos, and Desktop )to a Network Drive. How do I get Firefox to automatically backup Bookmarks, e.g. when I exit FF, into one of these folders e.g. 'Documents'? So that it is automatically backed up in one place in the event my PC drive crashes.

I spent some time Googling this very simple question and got many confusing and unrelated results!!

I assume there must be a configuration issue. I have another computer with the same OS of Windows 8.1. The other computer works well without this issue, so I copied its profile folder to the problem computer, and the problem remains. Disabling all add-ons did not correct my issue.

I have purchased a DAP-1320 Wireless Range Extender and wish to install it manually since it requires I add a password, how do I stop Windows 8.1 from automatically trying to load this only to time out.

I used to be able to reply to an email and it would show up in the box. I could then add my comments to this posting with the original email in it. Now it won't do it.

Also, I used to be able to go onto a site do a cut-and-paste, or copy-and-paste to put into my document.

Now I cannot do either. Can you please give me some advice as this is totally frustrating.

Cannot click on any buttons, including the facebook connect button. This is affecting evry website with buttons.

I have cleared cookies and cache with no success. I have also restarted FF.

Every web page I open is the same size type, etc. EXCEPT one (Amazon) which the type is so very small it's non-readable.

What can I do to fix the problem?

I have "Show My Home Page" for the Startup option I have LastPass set to AutoLogin I have the cookies for the tab sites in the Cookies Exceptions list

Despite all of this, the tabs are "logged out" when I restart Firefox, and sites that have no logins are not opened based on the web address the tab was origianlly set for.

I would just like to get more space out of the ff browser at the top, seems that is a waste of space, so i could have more internet space ON MY LAPTOP

I had a password I changed and old one kept saving. I clicked not to save so I could redo. Now the 'REMEMBER PASSWORD" under tools is faded and unable to check. I have to input passwords EVERY TIME and there are sooooooo many it's a lot of frustration. HELP!
