Hi everyone,

I recently noticed some strange text formatting issues on [[Next Level Gaming Store|https://nextlevelgamingstore.net/]] while browsing with Firefox. Specifically, the descriptions for some of the game assets seem to be jumbled or overlapping in weird ways. It makes it hard to read what each asset actually offers.

I've cleared my cache and tried a different browser (Chrome), and everything looks fine there. So, it seems to be a Firefox-specific issue.

Anyone else encountered this on Next Level Gaming Store with Firefox? Maybe there's a setting I can tweak to fix the formatting?

The website referenced above is currently not functioning on Firefox. I have previously accessed this site without issue, so this is an unexpected problem. Could this be an issue with the browser, or is it potentially on my end? Are there any recommended solutions or fixes for this?

I find all white websites extremly unpleasant. I have other problems, but frankly I can't stand getting flashbanged like this.

I have tried setting "Website appearance"

To automatic, light, dark, it does nothing, mozilla.org does not respect this request apparently.

I searched in mozilla.org profile while logged in, there is no option to dark mode the website.

I understand that mozilla.org is a website you just visit rarely when you have a problem. So it is expected that the user will endure some discomfort. But this is just too annoying, I will search for my problems on stackoverflow instead argggg !

Alternatively, can I whitelist darkreader to work on all pages include mozilla.org ?

My Stylesheet contains min-device-width with zoom property for body tag, but only in firefox the zoom property changes affects the body, but the device-width should affect the body tag.

My school library has a proxy server for connecting to subscriptions at various content providers. The site certificate is wildcarded, because the proxy server's name becomes the domain for the particular site to which the authenticated user is connecting. This has been the recommended way for libraries to connect institutionally with commercial content providers since at least 2000. The attachment shows the response that I get when I connect to my library with Firefox. You aren't allowed the opportunity to tell Firefox to accept the certificate as legit and connect anyway, which is extremely annoying.

There are two websites that I have been connecting to for years using Firefox in Windows 11. Recently, Firefox has not been able to connect. With one (https://www.medicare.uhc.com/aarp), I can see it trying to connect but it just never happens. Another (auth2.care360.com) gives the message "An error occurred during a connection to auth2.care360.com. PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR". Firefox is my primary browser. When I use Edge there is no issue connecting to either of these sites. I have not installed any new security software since the issues started and have always taken standard software updates.

A week or so ago (About the 18th July) I found that I could no longer log into eBay with Firefox.

When I try to log in it comes up with a big read banner with the words "We ran into a problem. Please try again later." inside it.

Using any other browser works.

I am just assuming an update, either Firefox or Windows has broken something.

I disabled my Firewall to see if that had any effect... no, it didn't.

I am not running any ad blockers.

I have also found others who have suffered the same issue on another forum.

Any idea's?

youtube /shorts take forever to buffer. its been like this for a while I dont know whats wrong. It will work for seconds to minutes then buffer for many minutes and repeats

When I open safeway.com with private window, the site always auto-reloads 3 times but the regular Firefox window doesn't do it. Also, I tried other browsers such as Chrome and Brave, they don't auto-reload either. I am only experiencing this with Firefox private window.

At the time removing the enhanced protection worked. Now not able to login to the site again. It goes to login, and then results in me not being logged in and asking for credentials again.

I've turned off all my ad blockers & privacy extensions for this domain (Disconnect, uBlock Origin, decentraleyes, cookie auto-delete, clearurls) as welll as having enhanced protection off.

Still doesn't work on Firefox, but fine on other browsers

Recently, my email provider (earthlink.net) has made a security related update requiring all support activities go to portal.earthlink.net. Ever since I registered my account as instructed, when I try to access my support account on earthlink, I am blocked by Cloudflare. I am using Firefox 115.13.0esr on Windows 7. Earthlink support says it's a setting in Firefox that is causing the blockage. When I attempt the same process on Chrome, I am not blocked. Does anyone have an idea what setting in Firefox that could be causing this ? I actually have always avoided Chrome , IE and Edge. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I have had trouble with Instacart features such as adding items to a pending order, or leaving feedback or a tip for a shopper. Most of the same Instacart features seem to work correctly in Chrome, but of course I would rather use Firefox. But having said that, some don't work properly in Chrome either!

Many web pages now 'flash' when opened in FF (128.0.3 64bit W10). ALL graphics images turn on then off in synchrony. Text does not seem to be affected. Disabling HW acceleration has no effect.

youtube always crash after sometime. i've 16Gb of ram, so it took sometime for me. but the crash is inevitable.

in the console, i saw some errors. mostly 401 and CORS to google ads domain. we all know that youtube is doing something shady to catch Adblock users.

no adblock, no extension, clean profile and incognito mode. it still happen. this problem is not unique to firefox, it happen to chrome too.

Hello,

This morning, for the very first time in 12 years, I opened my hotmail/outlook email tab and got a completely blank white screen, and nothing more. I've restarted my laptop twice, just to see if it was a Windows glitch. Nope. I disabled ad blockers with the little shield in front of the URL--still no change.

I love Firefox and prefer to use nothing else. However, I tried to open my email with Edge and it works fine. It also works fine on my older computer that did NOT get the Firefox update, so something is amiss here. Firefox updated recently on this machine and I'm wondering if something went wrong in the update. I'm not very tech savvy, but can anyone help me?
