I'd like to log into my facebook account but all I get is " We can’t connect to the server at www.facebook.com."

I've recently updated to 92.0.1 and I've noticed that when I download a PDF attachment or file that firefox opens in a new tab rather than using the default adobe program. I've looked at settings and applications and changed to to "always ask" but I don t get any option to use adobe to open it or any other program. Also it seems to save the file in the downloads folder as a "firefox html document" and not a pdf file

Hi, Opened firefox today on my desktop pc and the open tabs at the top of FF just stroll to the right/end of my tabs as soon as i put the mouse over them to select one.

try use left arrow or scroll wheel to go to the left and just immediately mouse over to click a particular tab and before can immediately scrolls back to the right/end.

also have noticed when at the right of my open tabs mouse over any tab and whereas before would get the pop up showing the title of the page now just flashs the title up for a fraction of a second not even enought time to read it.

plus now have tried to select from the drop down box in this ask your question dialog box but when click on down arrow to select the appropiate section just flases up the options for a fraction of a section giving no time to select one. Have found only way to select is to use the arrow keys on my keyboard

some tabs are not loading when i open a new tab. i always use the middle mouse button to open new tabs.

this started about 2 days ago. on any page not just a single site

i have everything updated including the graphic driver.

Windows 10 Pro 64bits 5900x CPU 6800xt GPU 64gb 3600mhz RAM

Any ideas?

I have deleted all of firefox on my computer and profiles and cleared all of mozillla from my registy. With a clean install and no extensions, I still get a new tab every time I right click on a link. The context menu I wanted to use and select open link in new tab does appear, but the new tab is already opened. I have to click in an open area to remove the menu. I have switched to the brave browser for now, and it behaves exactly like firefox used to.

Hello. I've just recently refreshed Firefox. Before I did that, I had a home icon next to the round refresh icon on the upper left of the menu. Now I don't have it. And I can' click to the home icon to get a new home page of Firefox! And I am NOT a happy camper. Did you all forget to put that on there or what?

Yes, I am fully aware that I can click the plus sign to get a new page. But I love the home page icon. Is it coming back by any chance?

Hiya I want to be warned when quitting multiple tabs BUT I do not want the session restored when opening again. This used to be possible but now in Settings if I untick Restore previous session even though Warn you when quitting the browser is ticked it does not give a warning when I quit Firefox. So this means if its unticked then if I accidently hit the close button I loose all the open tabs in firefox. If ticked I have to close all the tabs manually each time I close firefox to prevent thm opening when I start Firefox again. Im on Windows 10 Pro 21H1 with Firefox 93.0 any idea if I can change this behaviour in the advanced prefs? (about:config) thanks for any insights A

With recent versions of Firefox, I haven't found how to open all tabs from another synced computer. They use to be displayed in bookmarks or history lateral menu and I could use the right button to open all. If this option has been removed, I don't understand why going steps back.

In the current version of Firefox, if (which is very rare) I go and open more than 17 tabs, some go off the one end of the top of the screen, and I must scroll over to find them. If I remember, on a very old version it was either 15 or 11 tabs before that happened.

Is there a way for me to change the 'limit number of tabs before they go off the end'? I would rather like to do that, but I have not found how. I would be most grateful if you can help.

I set "Open links in tabs instead of new windows" and it opens the bookmark link in a new tab in W10. It opens the bookmark link in the current tab in W11. Both are v93.

My preference would be the W10 way.

Not sure why this would be an OS related issue but there we are.

Dear Mozilla Support,

After some update (I think from 89.0.0 version of Mozilla Firefox - this version with new looks of tabs) I notice flickering on the tab when I loading website or refresh website. This looks very strange. Like I said I dindn't notice any issue with flickering on previous Mozilla Firefox versions. Only with these new versions with new look of the tabs. I didn't remember if it was 89.0.0 version or 90.0.0 version. I don't know if it is problem with the machine but I didn't notice this issue on another computer with 90.0.2 Firefox version but with Windows 10 OS. I also noticed this issue with Firefox 90.0.0.2 with Windows 7 OS on another computer so I don't know if this is problem with two computers or Firefox itself. Can you help me?

Back to Firefox after a few years away, I like the feature Firefox suggest, however, it opens up and switches to the site selected when selected, (middle button), is there a way to open these in the background. Any help would be much appreciated.

When i open a window the past 80 tabs openl to use, I need to R clic the tab on the left and "erase all tabs to right"

New redesign update 89 somehow changed New Tab design. I don't know how it should look, but I think this is not what is intended. There is only one setting left - an amount of rows, which doesn't solve this alignment problem. Highlighting an item also looks misaligned.

How do I apply the same highlighting shown by the red arrow to the text where grey and heavy blue is used for highlighting? I find css very convoluted and it's hard for me to know what ids/parameters to use to get the desired effects. In most standard Windows applications, the title bar and tab colour follows the default Windows settings, e.g. (in my case) the title bar and tab colour of active application windows is blue. This is true even in Thunderbird. Since FF 89, title bar and tabs are something between white and light gray, which is extremely user-un-friendly. FF developer team should return to the previous colour scheme. Yes, I know the circumstances of free software but this is NO excuse to alienate millions of users. Developers that change fully functionable software just, well, just to CHANGE it should consider that they are doing WRONG. Could anyone tell them? I am just user, not developer and I am not willing to learn developer tools like BugZilla just for this simple guiding principle.
