Old bookmarks not showing up in Firefox on new computer. It seems to merge all Edge bookmarks onto new Firefox on new computer. Is there away to get old Firefox bookmarks backed that were synched?

HOW to add another windows11 device to this Firefox account,... when that other existing Firefox account was "disconnected" after my recent upgrade from Windows10 to Win11. Not successful even at logging in with existing p/w,... and the security key does not work either.Need to start over with new account on that other windows11 device, but using the same email address: inetsurf@sonic.net. Can you help me?

On my windows 11 machine, Firefox requires me to re-log into my Mozilla account every few days (there is a yellow triangle on the Account extension, which when clicked, has me to log into my Mozilla account). I have tried several troubleshooting steps:

1) Create a new profile and set it as the default profile 2) Completely uninstall and reinstall Firefox using the steps in the following article, including removing user data. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/uninstall-firefox-from-your-computer

I'm using Firefox on a Mac and my iPhone and I don't experience this issue. I am logged into my account on both devices.

I currently actively use Firefox on three devices, my old laptop with Windows 10, my new laptop with Windows 11, and an Android mobile phone. In the past I've had largely positive experience with the Account sync feature, but after logging into my profile on Win11, my mobile phone seems to disappear from the list (opened tabs), or seems to automatically log out of my profile.

I am trying to resync the data from my mobile to my computer as i have a new computer as old one no longer works.

Sync did not sync all of the data such as bookmarks and password.

i have logged unisntalled and re installed firefox on both.

logged in again. however sign in for android firefox does not actually sign in anymore but opens a new firefox window at "accounts.firefox.com" however signing in here doesnt sign into firefox for the app but only in this specifc window which is not even a new tab.

i really need to get all my bookmarks and passwords from my phone.

please help

Dear all, I am searching the mozilla knowledge base and the internet, but I cannot find a solution to a simple problem. I used everything. Example: I would like to have my data saved and synchronized between devices after logging into my email so that I don't have to keep logging into the selected website. I also want websites other than exceptions to be deleted from the history after closing the browser. On computer A, I installed Firefox, created an account, and then added specific websites to the exceptions so that cookies would not be cleared when closing the browser. The account was synchronized. On computer B, I logged into my Mozilla account, and these saved websites require me to log in.

I've ALL Mac. Desktop, laptop, i-pad, i-phone - oh, and I've got a Lenova for an exercise program that's in the mix. I can't seem to get any syncing done. I see notices that it's happened, but the tabs on none of the devices line up. I also tried syncing with/to/from my iphone. I got you QR Code and had to use the Iphone camera to scan it in. I got a message that I have to do it from within Firefox - but all I can get there is something KROLL. And that's an internet URL/page. I can't find a way to scan the QR code with that app hogging my screen. I've attempted to scroll/dump that tab but when I open up Firefox again...it's still there.

look, i have no idea if this is a bug, but i have been dealing with this for over a month now. i even have tried to use what was suggested, still does it. it all started AFTER i used mozilla sync, now for some reason it forces me out of my accounts every time i try to restart my browser, forces me to log back into them, then does it again if i close out mozilla at any point after to make sure it isn't about to sign me out another time.

it's getting frustrating because i am tired of losing my history, my bookmarks, and my extensions. this is also reaching a point i am considering changing web browsers because it won't fix after trying the suggestion given before of deleting the files.

I ran a CC Cleaner update this morning on my one main desktop computer and after running this all of the synced bookmarks on this 1 computer across my 3 computers disappeared under the Bookmarks Toolbar. The other 2 computers still show and have access to the bookmarks as we are all signed in under the same account. Of note the Bookmarks Menu and Other Bookmarks have not changed on the main desktop computer. However under the Bookmarks Toolbar the main desktop computer shows an empty bookmarks field. I have tried to reboot, sign out and back in etc. I even tried to download to an html file the bookmarks on the working laptop but when I attempted to choose the file for upload on the problem machine it failed. Any other ideas from the good folks out there would be most appreciated! I have many many bookmarks and it will be quite painful to recreate for just one machine. Thanks in advance for any help! Recently I lost my earlier mobile phone and purchased a new one. I tried many times but every time the pairing/sync to my new device is failing. I am tired of this. Can you help?

Recently I uninstalled then reinstalled Firefox on my Samsung A71 because I couldn't remove a timer I set on the app. I continued using Firefox on Android as usual for about three or four days but tonight I discovered that my Android history isn't syncing up to Windows 10 Firefox on my HP Pavilion. I signed out on Android, then signed back in again but my Android history still didn't appear on Windows. I tried several more times, using both the QR code and my email. I then uninstalled FF on Android and reinstalled and signed back in again but only a few items appeared in my Windows history. Android won't show me my current tabs on Windows as I type this either and the sync now button is doing nothing. Is there anything I can do fix this?

(P.S. both versions are up to date)

Signed on to same mozilla account on old and new computers. Set each sync for bookmarks, passwords and such. Both computers are shown as signed on, but none of bookmarks appear in firefox on new computer.

When I choose add new device the website displays 2 choices: mobile with installed Firefox app or need to download the app.

I chosed mobile with installed app then the website return to this main page without show the QR to scan from app.

Now, I logged in using email on my Android mobile and failed to sync my web browser profile..

Hi, I’m having trouble keeping my bookmarks in sync between my Windows laptop and Android phone using Firefox Sync.

I’m logged into the same Firefox account on both devices, and Sync is turned on. However, new bookmarks I add on one device don’t appear on the other.

I’ve already tried:

Signing out and back into my Firefox Account

Forcing a manual sync

Checking that both devices have the latest Firefox version

Is there a way to manually trigger a full re-sync or reset the Sync database without losing data? Thanks in advance! 🙏
