I am trying to convert to the Mozilla (Firefox) start page for my home page. I cannot follow the instructions given because my default home page in options is Yahoo. (I don't want that.) Can you give me the address of the Start page? I know how to make it my home page after I have navigated there.

Cannot print emails on Yahoo. Is this a Firefox problem? I can click on print and the email opens in a new window, but when I click on print at the top of this new window it just beeps. The only other option on this window is "close this window"

Hopefully someone who uses Firefox on a personal desktop computer that is not connected to a network can answer this question:

In Internet Explorer, I know that unchecking 'the Automatically Detect Settings' option in the LAN settings under the Connections tab allows webpages to load faster.

In Firefox, there are four Internet Setting Configurations: 'No Proxy,' 'Auto Detect Proxy Settings For This Network,' 'Use System Proxy Settings,' and 'Manual Proxy Configuration,' 'Auto-Detect' being the default option.

1. Which of these four settings allows webpages to load as quickly as they would in IE by unchecking 'the Automatically Detect Settings' option and what is the order of the other three configurations from 'fastest' to slowest?'

2. Under 'Cached Web Content,' should the 'Override Automatic Cache Management' option be checked? If so, how many MB should the cache be limited to? Right now, the option is unchecked and set to 350MB.

Some webpages are loading slowly so perhaps the above settings need to be changed.

Also, is there an 'Email Notification' option at the top/bottom of each thread created so that I know when someone has responded?

Is there a tools option in ff28 when changes or adjustments is needed. I have noticed that support advice refers a lot to things that aren't there. If I am too much of a newbie and missed the obvious, my apologies. Otherwise please help. It would be a good idea to have a list of changes to options available for new migrants to firefox because it would be gutting to revert to IE or chrome. Thank you.

On my Dell Venue 8 Pro tablet, win 8.1, I am unable to drag the 'download' (arrow) icon from the customize screen on to the tool bar. I was able to drag the 'search' icon from the screen to the tool bar. Why can I drag one, and not another? Thanks, WoodyB

I don't know what I did, but my new tab page that held 9 of my favourite sites disappeared and I don't know how to get it back. I don't know what it was called but I would really like to have it back. I won't know how to find the answer to this question so I really hope the answer is emailed to me. Thanks for a great product, I just am not well versed in using all its features. Flo

This program is only associated with Firefox and will not uninstall. If I cannot get rid of it, I will remove Firefox from all of my computers.

Two days ago "Bookmark this Page" stopped working. I cannot bookmark any webpages anymore - and it's not like I haven't been using Firefox for years and years. I know how to bookmark & also how to sort bookmarks into my bookmark toolbar. But for no reason that I can find, bookmark no longer works. Period. I click on the "Bookmark This Page" line and nothing happens. What happened? HELP!!!!

I am one of those users who prefer the tabs below the toolbars. In version 29.0 there does not appear to be any solution to getting them there. I have searched all the menu bars and gone the route of changing browser.tabs.tabsontop to false. Nothing has worked so far and I'd hate to load an older version of Firefox just for tabs. Has anyone else used version 29.0 and solved this dilemma successfully?

It seems to me that every time Firefox updates the browser, there is some kind of design thing that pisses off a bunch of people, myself included. You seem to have a sizable part of your fan base that has spent all the time they want to spend on getting the controls, the gui experience just right. We are told that nobody forces us to use the new browser and here is the link to the now unsecure version. I would like to suggest whenever you have an update that is required to fix a security flaw, include a ticker option to include any new skins that might be involved. You surely do not have to change the layout to something that folks are possibly going to hate just to fix a security flaw. Let us make the decision on whether we want to try out a new design. If some of us want to try the new design we should be able to click yes, I'll try it. If we don't like it we can go back and download the new version again and not click yes this time. Firefox has been my browser of choice for years now due to the fact of options, options, options. Completely customizable to a larger base of people, but when you force a design change on people that is more properly called a skin, you lose and we do too.

After every time I close the internet, upon re-opening it I have to receive a one time pass code from a website or enter my email ID and password (even though I previously clicked Keep Me Signed In for 2 Weeks) or answer security questions then confirm for the 15th time that this is my private computer. I've checked the privacy settings every time and they are correct. I never had this problem with Internet Explorer. The problem began 2 weeks ago when I switched to Firefox.

Windows XP 32bit. Currently using Firefox 32 and F-secure AV. Plagued with unwanted websites that appear regularly.

Is there any way to block known url's simply by entering their address anywhere?

Why can't I contact You with ACTUAL FEEDBACK? Why does Firefox Vers 28 allow me to download complete webpage files but Vers 30 does not? Plugins, Addons, Internet Security are all the same on both systems. I can download the files in IE but not Firefox. What gives? I use NoScript, Better Privacy, Ghostery, and Kaspersky Internet Security configured the same on both systems. The only reason I checked is because on certain sites, I can't download files and the view completely. Firefox Vers 30 will download but not create a complete html link in the directory so that I can open and view the file.

Trying to connect to internet using t mobile hotspot. Windows 7 Firefox browser I can get to a website using the ip address however nothing using www.msn.com or anything. In the connect to the internet window in Options network I have no idea what to put in there I tried auto nothing works
