I view movies and tv series on Amazon Prime and others every night . Suddenly I no longer can. On Prime I get a msg. saying I must update ff. It tells me the process and I have done it at least 6 times. When I go to 'about Firefox it tells me that I am already up to date, have version 115.18 esr. I am on a Dell Business computer, Vostro 470. Windows 7, service pak 1. Processor is i5-3450CPU @3.10GHz. RAM 400 GB , 4 processor cores. 64 bit. Prime disk466 GB 395 GB free. I'm a senior lady, not very computer literate. I have a ton of duplicate files but don't know which to remove. If I got help I could free up a lot more space. I watch everything on my computer monitor. I don't understand as the esr was supposed to allow us to continue. Please help as I am pretty homebound and this is about my only entertainment.

All of a sudden, when I'm on eBay, a lot of the hot links, embedded on an eBay "for sale" item don't work. Sometimes, when I (repeatedly) hit "Reload Current Page", they start working, or become "hot", as they should be. I wrote eBay, but no response. How to I delete three Fire Fox icons found in Apps? Two show up in the taskbar tray and I am constantly being asked if Fire Fox should be my Default.

Also, refreshing Fire Fox changed all my options. For example, when Fire Fox opened, there were two rows of internet choices from "mail" to "dictionary"; now, a plain white screen.

I'm about to give up on Fire Fox and follow the herd with Microsoft forever! It seems every time Microsoft has an "update", two things happen: I have problems with Fire Fox and my phone rings off from folks I've never done business with; any connection?

I’ve noticed that Firefox is draining my Mac’s battery significantly often consuming over 200% of the device’s power. It also prevents my Mac from going to sleep when not in use. I just switched to a new HP Pavilion 14 running Windows 11. Previously, I had no problems using the "set image as desktop background" right click function, but now it no longer works. Instead, I get a solid color screen.

I play Farmville 2 on Zynga Games and have been for years. All of a sudden the game will not fully load. I tried it on my old computer and it works. I'm wondering if there is something blocking it from loading on this new computer all of a sudden but I don't know what it would be or where to look. Could you please help?

I have a 1848ETC-HST data logger from Real Time Automation on an isolated network that does not support HTTPS but Firefox keeps changing it to HTTPS. I tried a private window with the same results. HTTPS-Only Mode is disabled. I entered an exception even though it should not need it. It was working in Firefox at one time and it still works with safari and chrome.

Over the last 4-5 days I am unable to get online without several restarts. I'm getting the message that the tabs have crashed and now I'm getting messages about incorrect URL's or that I have already accessed something that I haven't accessed. Thank you for your time.

After updating to v 133.0, when maximizing Firefox (not F11 fullscreen), a taskbar that is set to "auto-hide" will no longer unhide when mousing to the bottom of the screen. This did not occur with the previous version (132.0.2).

This behavior is also unaffected by the "devtools.toolbox.alwaysOnTop" setting in about:config as i've tried switching from the default "true" to "false".

Over the last month or so Firefox has been failing on my old mac OS10.15.7. I go to my mac in the morning and firefox just won't start. I try to rebuild but holding down the option key when starting the app does nothing. I restart, sometimes resetting PR. That has helped in the past but doesn't now. I have re-downloaded and re-installed. I have deleted the firefox folder in library App support. As soon as one thing works it happens again after a day. I don't know what the hell is going on but I don't like it. I have run anti-virus software and malwarebytes. They are not picking anything up.

I have another mac which uses up to date OS and that works fine.

Is it a case of using a specific older version of firefox? I have tried an older version from another boot drive (startup disk) using OS10.13 once and it also only worked for a day or so.

Periodically, Firefox will freeze and send the message "Firefox must be restarted to continue". After restarting, Firefox takes a long time to recover. This morning, it took nearly 5 minutes to recover.

When is Firefox (across devices) going to bring "Tab Groups" in-built in 2025 as it is difficult to ditch Chrome esp., if it is related to work or research and similar tabs are opened up?

I have to rely on chrome and edge for same and both have not only brought it but improved it considerably. Also, chrome has not brought for mobile devices so grouping of tabs is more easy and simple but when I look at Firefox and Firefox based browsers, I see nothing of that thing present. The addon esp., Simple Tab Groups (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-CA/firefox/addon/simple-tab-groups/) is unreliable (see reviews).

If Firefox want us to use their browser and as default, they should see why we are using Chrome and Edge (latter, having vertical tabs in-built, also).

I hope 2025 is a year Firefox learns of how to retain users across devices. Currently Firefox is more from 2005.

For starters, I'm using Firefox 133.0 (64-bit), Windows 10, Logitech Trackman Marble Mouse (and I've used this mouse forever and a day)

In ONLY Google Messages for web, the vertical scrollbar is skinny and doesn't work well. I have to click above it and then it's hit or miss if it will scroll.

I have NO issues with any other website so far. In Chrome and Brave browsers I have no issues with Google Messages. It seems this is uniquely a Firefox with Google Messages issue.

I'm curious if there is a way to fix this. One time for grins, I right clicked the scroll bar and selected Inspect. I was able to figure out how to widen the scrollbar and that helped; however, it was only for that session. I did not see a way to "save" those changes.

PS: This mouse does NOT have a scroll wheel. Using a mouse WITH a scroll wheel works. But then again, with my Logitech marble mouse I depend on the scroll bars and have no issues with any other website. Thanks.

I'm wondering if someone can help me with an issue I'm having with the Firefox autofill function. Which has just stopped working.

Absolutely a first world problem BUT its super irritating as now I have to manually input card details when I purchase anything online. And as I purchase materialS all the time for work it's v laborious...

I'm on a Macbook Air 2020 M1 and just updated it to OS 14.6.1.

Firefox def seems to remember my various card details as they pop up on the form fields; but then disappear as soon as I try and select the one I want to use?

Ive poked around in Settings but toggling on & off / resetting etc doesn't seem to make any difference.

Any advice gratefully welcomed ;)

Every two or three hours, firefox locks my computer by creating thousands of tracks and temporary file megabytes. I have to power button the computer off and restart.

I have tried ridding of cache etc, but nothing works. I am running win 7 64x ultimate, and the latest firefox browser, but this issue has been going on with previous versions and over years. Yesterday the problem corrupted some files that sfc /scannow can't even fix.

Please help.
