I used Malwarebyte scan to check for my digital footprint and it showed Firefox , spotify and another program , it also identified one password that was out there ! Does this mean that Firefox on my PC/Phone is insecure ? or are they trying to get me to use their software ?

I am using Firefox on Mac - I usually minimize instead of closing - It has started making a TAPPING NOISE I thought it was my computer - but It now has happened to 3 different computers and one is brand new - T T T T TTT , I have narrowed it down to Firefox, when I minimize it will do it, then opened and it stopped and min. then start, repeeat - now it does the TTTTT all the time with it open or minimized. What is going on?

My customer has a problem since about a month on Firefox (using it on a Terminal Server). The top of Firefox gets hidden by white and grey "bar" and he can not even use the "functions" of buttons behind that. -> Please see attached Print screens Lower part of the Favorites-bar is visible and also works if he clicks on it - everything above not visible and does not work for clicking.

The problem only comes up from time to time maybe once or twice a week. When he minimizes Firefox the application behind is visible normally. when he maximizes it again, same problem still visible in Firefox. When he closes RDP Session and reconnects - the problem disappears. When he turns off the monitor where Firefox is visible - Firefox gets move over to the other monitor and the problem disappears.

I am not 100% sure if this is a Firefox problem or Remote Desktop Problem (or maybe an add-in problem). But until now it only happened on Firefox!

He is always on the last recent version of Firefox, we just updated today to the latest version again - but I can not say yet, if the problem would still exist on the latest version from today.

I have windows 11 and the firefox 124.0.2 browser. I cannot update to the latest version of Firefox. I receive an error message "failed to update". I've uninstalled and reinstalled the browser, ran the install utility selecting update, nothing seems to work. Please help

Hello. I use youtube website as music player quite often (without premium) and play my favorite list of songs. Meantime, when Google started meddling with youtube due to their new offer as youtube premium I met two most annoying issues like "are You still watching" dialog and the behaviour where youtube just cleared "repeat list" function without my consent. Both issues was resolved with java scriplets I took from community.

Now I run into third issue but not sure how to diagnose it. If Firefox is in the background, or tab with youtube has no focus the playlists stops from time to time. The moment it stops is when next video should start playing. When browsing on different tab, I can see on Youtube tab that title of the video has changed (to the next video) and even the song started (for 1-2 seconds) then video pauses and word "playing" disappears from tab (normally there should be title on tab and "playing" word under title). It is not "are You still watching" dialog issue because if I move mouse cursor on youtube tab (even without setting focus on it) the player will continue - till next song.

The issue doesn't appear if youtube tab is active. I can't use developer tools in firefox because can't debugging website when tab of the site is not active (at least I don't know how). I tried to find solution with community but with no success. I allowed youtube to play video and sound always without exception in firefox preferences but it is not the solution.

Any tips?

I accepted this the other day but now don't want it. It is a Print popup & at bottom says Grow I can not find how to remove this. Popup shows this: Unlock the Print Button!

HI, I'm trying to move the text to below the picture as in the screenshot of the popup (black back ground) on the non-popup pages because the mobile is not in popup, and the text is blocking the artwork as well. Is there a section to move the text outside of the picture? Thank you!

I'm wondering if anyone can shed light on this.... I'm using the very latest version of Firefox 124.0.2 (64bit) And recently having a problem when video chatting on facebook when chatting I can't see the "Cam" Icon to call up. Yet on Crome all is good.

Any help?

Hello. I have a pretty big sprite image i am trying to display on my web page but mozzila wont display it. The sprite is 78016px by 1000px and im cropping it to be 736px by 1000px. Sprite is made out of a png sequence that was made in 3d software, now the thing is when i put in the non rendered verson of images(3D viewport colors) which windows labels as 8bit (maybe because of less colors) it gets displayed, but when i put the rendered version which windows labels as 32bit image it wont get displayed on Mozilla. It gets displayed on Chrome and Edge without any problems. The only difference beetween the images is that the rendered version has a transparent background behind the subject...they are the same sized sprite. I will drop the first frames of the sprite in the images section so you can get a better idea. Also all of the code and images is stored locally.

The latest version of firefox for MacOS 14.4.1 has broken the picture in picture function. When enabling PiP, the video window takes up almost the entire screen and doesn't remember the size i set it to, like it did in older versions of Firefox. Another issue is when im in fullscreen mode and enable PiP, the PiP window takes me to another 'desktop', whereas before it would simply overlay on top of my screen.

When I have the Firefox browser open, every time I click away from it to another open window I get this stupid graphic that pops up near the bottom right corner of my screen that says "Intelligent Work" and rotates through three different images. It is really irritating and I can't figure out how to make it go away. This is a new computer and I only installed the Firefox browser this week. It only happens when I click off of the browser to any other window.

In all instances, when I click on a link to view a document on a website, rather than simply pop up to view, the document is downloaded and I am required to save it to my computer. Something in the Firefox settings is preventing the pop-up view from occurring. Not certain where to reset in order to correct this. Please advise
