I receive a bill from my public utility and I cannot use Firefox to open it. Have seen others ask the question but I need a simple solution that I can execute.

I am using Firefox ESR 31.4 and Adobe Reader 10.1.10 My retirement is to open PDF document from my application in firefox only. I have set in Application Tab -> PDF (content Type) -- action as use Adobe Acrobat (in firefox). 1. When I open the PDF document from application, I am prompted "What should Firefox do with this File? options -> Save, Open With" 2. I select Open with and the value available is 'Adobe Reader (default). 3. I check the box "Do this automatically for files like this from now on". The PDF file opens in browser. 4. Next time i open the PDF document it again prompts me with options 'Save' or 'Open With'
Is there a way so that firefox remembers the preference for opening PDF files.

I opend options dialog and select application.
A list with 11 mime types appear. But can't see "application/image". I cant add other (new) mime types.
How to do that? Thanks in advanced.
after upgrading to version 35 i get error playing some videos "no video with supported mime type found" video type mp4
