add-ons not getting installed even after restarting firefox, I've removed the 3 extensions files (numerous times) in the other suggestions and restarted. Still doesn't work still saying will be installed upon restart.

Firefox 3.6.3 (Mac) only knows about .ofx files from Quicken. I find no obvious way to add .qfx to the list, and the dialog ("open with this app", "always do this from now on) has no effect. eh?

I'm using swfobject to display alternate html content on a Flash site. In FireFox only it loads the site's swf twice. It does not happen with any other browser. You can view the site I'm testing at http://www.turntwomedia.com/index-altContent.html

Some websites that I never before had a problem with before are now loading as blank pages, no matter how many times I refresh or clear my cache. Its starting to really be a problem and I know there must be some solution. I think some (maybe all, not sure) of the sites with the problem are ones with a redirect, if that helps at all. I'm on Mac, running version 3.6.3 of Firefox.

Usually when i scroll over a Persona it briefly previews it when i put my mouse over the picture. Now I have to click on it, click install, and then click "allow".

web page created with iweb (3.0.1). worked great in firefox, then I added additional photos to an existing web page. All other browsers see these new pictures EXCEPT firefox. There seems to have been a previous issue with new pages, but fix appears only fro iweb2.x

How do I get the firefox addon to separate things like phone/social security number into their three boxes. Every time it just puts the entire number into each box. when I open a second tab while working in my legal research site, I cannot utilize and important feature, "copy with reference." the window for this feature opens, but it opens empty. this is not the case in the first firefox tab. for complicated reasons, this is a real pain.

I don't use the caret bousing and since I don't know what affect the F7 kay has on other programs I would like to remove that function from Firefox. Can that be done?

When I input a user name for yahoo or gmail, Firefox offers alternatives that I have previously input. So I get a list of typos and sometimes my password concatenated to the user name.

My wife has to switch between older and newer versions of Firefox. Her work IT department created web-based software that is incompatible with the newest version of Firefox. The annoyance is that every time she switches Firefox versions, the Firefox update page comes up in the first tab. Is there any way to disable that?

Documents will not download. NEVER had this before. They download in Safari & all other programs- but FF - which I've gone through with a fine-tooth comb- doesn't pull them down to my computer anymore. I've never had this problem before. I need to revert to an earlier version of FF.
