My laptop location in Firefox is using my former home location. But when I do the same Weather Google Search or Google Map website in Chrome, the location is my current location in North Carolina. This true whether I'm logged into my Google account or not Signed in to my Google account.

In Firefox I've checked Tools/Options/Privacy & Security/Permissions/Location/Settings. It lists 3 sites that have asked for access to my Locations: google, home depot and BedBathBeyond. Yet when I use Google to search "weather", it gives me Wayne NJ. This section will not let me add Google Maps.

In Security I changed Block Pop-ups to continue to have a checkmark but added google.com and maps.google.com as exceptions and restarted Firefox. Google Maps still shows Wayne NJ and weather sometimes shows North Carolina but mostly shows Wayne NJ

Are there any other settings in Firefox I need to update? Or are there settings in Windows I need to update.? I'm using Windows 10 and Firefox 85.0

Firefox colour addon removed the whole existing theme, replaced everything with it's default selections.

I use a custom theme, I just want to change the text colours on the menu bar, tab bar and bookmark bar. But the color addon destroyed the whole theme when I made any single change. I had disable and enable the theme to restore it. How do I import the theme to color addon so I can edit it?

My account is not syncing to any Firefox browser, extensions, passwords, bookmarks non of this attributes will be loaded to my browser back after re-installation, What might the issue be?

Ob ich eine Antwort bekomme steht auf ein anderes blatt papier. IHR SEID SCHEIßE!!!!! Wenn mein gesamter PC noch mal wegen FirefoxUpdate runterfährt, schmeiß ich alle Mozilla produkte von meinem PC runter und nutze Microsoft Edge oder Chrome. Jetzt reichts. Euer SCHEIß Update könnt ihr euch selber verpassen. Jedes mal gehen meine ARbeiten verloren, weil Firefox sich oberste Prioritäten setzt den PC runter zu fahren. Das kann's nicht sein. Und um kontakt aufzunehmen mußte ich 30 klicks machen. Ich werde euch nicht mehr weiter empfehlen. Ich habe 8 PC's in meinem Haushalt und alle das selbe problem.

In MacOS Big Sur 11.1 on my MacBook, I have set MacOS to automatically switch between Light Mode and Dark Mode. But I notice that Firefox does not handle this well. When I have used my MacBook Dark Mode and switch back to Light Mode, Firefox still hangs in Dark Mode. The only way to solve this is to choose Light Mode in System Preferences instead of automatic.

My Firefox routinely shuts down while I'm using my 2018 Macbook Pro, and the problem began when I updated my IOS to Big Sur This is a systemic problem with non-native apps ever since installing Big Sur. Apple won't address the problem unless I confirm that my non-native apps are compatible with Big Sur. Can you please confirm the most updated version of the Firefox Browser is compatible with Apple's Big Sur IOS? Can you also let me know if other users have experienced problems and if there is any fix?

Latest update blocking website like indeed from loading in information about employers and other sites too. Every update makes firefox worse. I started using other browsers because now some video's don't work either. Last thing I saw was a QUICK pop-up that said something about bits of trackers now being blocked. Well lots of things are being blocked and making browsing a miserable experience. I tried using the standards system in options. Can't find anything to make it work. Allow lots of things and nothing is working except to probably make the web browser more vulnerable to creeps. Please undo your current update and stop making so many updates. I've had three in the last two weeks and every time they screw up the browser more and more. Just stop it!

I loaded Firefox onto a new Win10 laptop yesterday and made it the default browser (against the "recommended" Edge). Today some websites are loading very slowly (e.g. PCMag home page takes 30 seconds to load). Some https sites load normally and others are slow. I refreshed Firefox, did not fix it. Is there something I can do?

Hi, After Firefox offered to repair my session because it advised it was working too slow, I have lost all my favourites, passwords, toolbar, history... how can I restore everything ?

Hi, I'm unable to change my Firefox Account password.

I navigate to the Manage Account page, click Change next to Password and enter my old and new password and nothing happens. The page gives no indication that the change has applied and my password remains the same.

I have also tried this in a private window, on Google Chrome and on my phone and the same thing happens.

There is a website that I use for work a lot and I have it on my bookmarks for easy access. The url for this website is https://_________________.com/html5 When I start typing the first 3 letters after the "https://" part, the address bar auto fills but it only does so up to ".com" and omits the "/html5" part so the website does not load correctly if I hit enter. I then have to use more keystrokes to get the complete url which is super annoying since I have to use this website multiple times every day. Is there a way to force firefox to auto fill the whole url without omitting the last part ?

every time i close down out of firefox, weither its to shut down computer or to simply sign our of firefox, when i sign back in again, all my bookmarks, websites i have saved every is gone, i don't understand everytime i sign out i have to refind everything,...why does this keep happening?

Firefox browser not allowing me to log into my Yahoo email account, system returning password error #201. I'm able to Login to account using Microsoft Edge browser.

So I've disabled Firefox updates because of the personal preferences. It keeps nagging me every day with the modal to update. How do I disable this annoying useless feature?

Firefox 85.0 on mac os.

I've tried searching "about:config" for all preferences that contain "update" and look like timers and changed the timestamps to something in the far future. Still no dice, the update dialog keeps appearing every day like clockwork.
