Hi, I like to use the Inspector window to modify layouts for printing &/or save as pdf only portions of a page or a whole page that's not laid out in a printer friendly way. Lately in the "Rules" pane of the Inspector window, I've noticed something I've never seen before. Normally it shows a list of rules for properties, attributes, etc...(CSS) which I can select or locate and change/modify with virtually no problems. Lately in that pane I've been seeing an item with an italicized title "element attributes style" and a lock icon on the upper left next to that text and it doesn't show show a link to the CSS page on the right side, nor does it allow me to select anything within. Does anybody know about this ?...is it some new setting or something that's changed in the newer versions of the browser. A couple of months ago I updated FF, which I hadn't done for awhile, and also just by chance, since that update I hadn't really used the Inspector for one reason or another, so I'm wondering if it's just a coincidence, since I had never seen it before. As the title implies, Firefox has been super annoying to use these past few days after moving a tab. I shift tabs around a lot to keep them organized, yet for the first time ever, shifting a tab has caused a permanent glitch on Firefox.

The preexisting workarounds are to try moving a tab to "unfreeze" the address bar and toolbar, or to move the window to another monitor and letting the issue fix itself, but both options have not done anything.

Additionally, as shown in the image attached, the "moved" tab winds up being a floating tab that is unclickable and floats "above" the other tabs. That tab can be accessed only through the CMND + tab option, which is also another inconvenience.

Really hoping the community has a solve because I transferred from Google Chrome due to Ublock becoming obsolete on that browser, and I would prefer not having to find another browser. Thank you!

some of my icons on the location bar do not appear, or only appear when I have the window maximized. How can I reorder thewse icons so the ones I want to see most often are on the left? this refers specifically to the add-on icons, but I would think all the icons are controlled the same way (that is, if one can control them).

Several times today I have had messages not sent because of this error message: "Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue". I am sending political messages and am concerned that Mozilla is blocking me. I have sent hundreds of similar messages over the years with no problem.

I have used the site campspot.com for years. Suddenly I cannot get into it and comes up with a 403 error. I am able to get into this site using Chrome so it seems that the problem is with Firefox.

When creating a password on Linux Desktop version 144 it shows the password text instead of hiding or at least provding a option to hide when typing out the password.

i have a firefox account on my old windows 10 computer. Firefox is having trouble "finding that site" for some sites I've used for years. I've checked internet settings in Firefox, reset my WIFI router, etc. with no response for connectivity. But I really guess I don't know what or where to check... Thought it was a VPN setting, not fixed. What should I try to find and correct my problem?? Ray ([edited email from public forum])

How do I disable the cruft which appears in the URLbar? Specifically, the trackers detected symbol, the certificate verified symbol, the bookmark this page symbol, and the question mark symbols which appear on both the URLbar and the searchbar.

Hello together, A colleague has been experiencing a display problem in a web application when opening it in the Firefox browser. The error affects a selection window that opens within an editing window of the application. Normally, all selection options are displayed completely and clearly in this window. Currently, however, this selection window is not displayed correctly: The individual options are only partially visible, and the user has to navigate awkwardly within the window using a scroll bar to select a function. The following measures have already been taken without success: Reinstallation of the Firefox browser Complete reconfiguration of the Firefox user profile It is noticeable that the problem only occurs for this one user. Other colleagues who also use the same web application with Firefox see the selection window displayed correctly. Can you help us?

When I signed up for Mozilla Privacy I didn't see there was a $99 charge; I thought it was just a new feature. I don't want it for $99. How can I cancel and get a refund?

Firefox is no longer playing audio from the Internet. I am running Firefox on Windows 11, and have the latest update installed (10/29/25). What happened? How do I fix this.

I am 99.5% sure this is a Firefox issue, as I have no problem playing audio files stored in my computer, and no problem playing Internet audio using Chrome or Edge.

Hi folks -

I've just seen the update that firefox now allows "profiles" for different purposes (e.g. work, fun, etc.) which seems really handy. But I'm trying to wrap my head around how to approach restructuring my current setup. In particular, do these profiles *all* sync with my mozilla account? Or do I need a separate mozilla account for each profile? (if so, that sort of defeats some of the utlity here unless you're sharing the PC).

I can't tell from the support article, doesn't seem to address this, but you do need to login again if you set up a new profile.
