Moments ago I rebooted my computer after a long day of heavy use (it's old). After rebooting and opening my Firebox Browser, I noticed all my Bookmarks were gone. I created a Firefox Bookmarks Export file on another desktop computer using a thumb drive and plugged it into my current desktop computer, and imported the Bookmarks. Great. They all seem to be there again. But the entire appearance of all the websites I regularly use have changed. I use Google Calendar and all the colors are gone. On my other computer, all the different tasks I've created still retain their colors with white lettering, but on this latest version of Ubuntu machine after the reboot, all by tasks are plain white with Black lettering. I compared the settings for Appearance on my two different computers and they are exactly the same. I couldn't Login to X on this machine after doing so numerous times, and after I logged into Bluesky, the appearance was completely different. I don't know what happened. The two attached screen grabs show the difference between this computer and my other one which still shows the color combinations that I want back within Google Calendar. Any idea what went wrong? Also, I tried to click the checkbox below that says, "Email me when someone answers the thread," and I could not. It wouldn't accept the check mark.

I logged in a few minutes ago and all my bookmarks are gone. It says my bookmarks are empty. I've used Firefox for years and never had this happen. How can this be fixed?

Hello. Yesterday when I started my PC, the Firefox browser wouldn't restore my previous session. This has of course happened before, so I restarted, but that didn't help. So then I have to restore all the pages myself, boring. BUT, when firefox doesn't remember any of my usual pages, I'm starting to worry. Then I think I want to update Firefox, and that's when I discover my main problem.....I can't access the menu in the three symbols at the top right (shown in the picture/attachment). I can't open my profile, can't open extensions, can't download anything or open the downloads icon, and most importantly, CAN NOT open the "Open application menu" (the icon with three horizontal lines), so THEN I have a big problem. The menu bar and everything there is available, but without access to "Open application menu" I can't reinstall Firefox. I can't save bookmarks either, or see if the bookmarks are in a backup or something. So, I don't dare delete firefox, then reinstall it, without knowing if I'll find my bookmarks again. I've tried saving them to a file, but I've never heard of a JSON file, and I don't know how to process it. I should also add that I deleted all my AVAST anti virus programs and files two days ago. And I have found out that I do have the latest firefox update. Hope someone can help me or give me some tips. I'm not particularly computer savvy either, just so you know. i have been using firefox for years without issues. just now i booted up on my laptop and a reset firefox question came up so i thought oh okay why not? I LOST MY FB PAGE/400+ FRIENDS... I LOST LEVEL 700+ IN A GAME APP.... all acting like this was day one!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF???????????????? HELP!!!!!!!!!

I've lost access to my [edited] @hotmail.com email address that is associated with this account, and I'd like to change my email address now before I'm locked it forever. This is the last computer that I have that is still logged in! It seems that to add another email address I need verification from my first email address, which I can not get. Please help! I don't know if your response to this help question will go to my Firefox account or my email, but if it goes to my lava950 email I won't receive it. If you could please also send it to [edited email from public community support forum], I'd really appreciate that. Thank you!

I am a long time user of firefox, but over at least the last six months I find that I have to use another browser to log into or use various websites - and I find it very difficult to contact you to try to find remedy. Started out several months ago. Could not verify - captcha - had to use Brave to complete login to complete purchase of subscription. Happening more often as time passes. I can complete logins only when I switch to Brave or Vivaldi. Do not want to switch browsers, but becoming more and more likely.
