I don't know if this problem also exist on x86 bits OS. I really like Mozilla and for now I've been obligated to use IE9 for Java based webpages and I don't like it. Is there a way to run 2 versions of FF AND have different privacy settings and different add ons?
I will be doing this with a laptop more often (mac) and will not have an external drive available and I do not want to partition the HDD.

What is causing this issue to happen on the very specific setup of Firefox 12 on Mac and not anywhere else?

3) get frustrated as the tabs automatically re-size to fill all the available horizontal space, moving the closing X button out of the way of the mouse, as opposed to the remaining tabs simply converging left, placing the next tab's X button where the previous one was.
Firefox behaved this way in 11.x and now suddenly it doesn't. Slightly annoying...

This is a new install of Firefox and I do not have any add-ons installed. Also, running FF in normal mode with all plug-ins disabled did not help.
I see this in my Add-Ons Manager, the download isn't moving at all. Is this something I should be worried about? I've never seen this before.

When prompted by Gmail to upgrade Firefox on my Mac (OS 10.4.11) because Gmail would no longer support the old version of Firefox I was using, I downloaded it and replaced the old Firefox icon with the newly-downloaded Firefox 12.0 icon in my Applications folder.
However, I now can't open the new Firefox because my computer (and me) are too old to work with it. HELP! Is there a version of Firefox I can use??? All my tabs were on Morning Coffee and all my 5 and 7 year old bookmarks were on that Firefox and it's GONE :–(
