Firefox Start Up Automatically After System Boot Up And Using almost 50% of Gpu. Also Starts Automatically When I close All Tabs & Firefox Too. And When I close Firefox From Task manager After Some Time it start automatically & CPU Usage is 50%

The New York Times is only partially loading with white space on the bottom. The same with article links. The ad blocker is off. I deleted the cookies. This just started happening a few days ago. Can go back from article to home page either. Other sites are working. NY Times works on Chrome.

For some websites, get the following error message: "Error: Secured connection failed. While connecting www.obelink.de, the following error occured: PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR This web site cannot be displayed, because the authencity of the received data could not be verified" (Sorry - I use Firefox German version, so this is my translation of the German error message) I get this error mostly after Firefox update, presently: 102.0.1 (64-Bit) I tried to empty the cache, closed Firefox (Shft + Ctrl + Q), restarted - nope. Interesting detail: When connecting to www.obelink.de on my Samsung Tab A7 (Firefox for Android 102.2.0), the web site opens instantly. And the Android firefox is much faster that this here (Win 10). Can anybody help to fix the issue?

When I try to log in to My Go Daddy account I get a message that says: Try disabling ad blockers and other extensions, enabling javascript, or using a different web browser. This has been going on for months.

I lost my bookmarks when I updated - I have a file on my desktop that is labeled old Firefox data. Nothing I can find explains how to get the old data file back into the new version. Some articles do talk about how to restore lost bookmarks but they all assume I can "see" the old files if I click on the restore tab in bookmarks. That will show me the Old Firefox Data folder, but when I open it none of the file folders appear to contain the HTML data needed.

I am 76 years old and not terribly computer literate. I need rudimentary explanations to solve my problem.

Failing that, can I just go back to my old version that worked?

Hi - I need some help restoring the 100+ open tabs that are in Computer1, and open them AS-IS in Computer2.

To help you understand my story......Computer1 is main machine, and I had over 100 tabs opened in there. I would like to transfer ALL of the open tabs to Computer2, before re-partitioning the C Drive in Computer1.

The problem is, my Computer1's Windows 10 is giving me problems at the moment, so I can not get into the computer by logging in. No recovery or diagnosis method will do the trick, so I will have to reinstall a fresh copy of Windows into Computer1. Besides, the computer was troubling me for having only ~50 MB available space in the C Drive (I have multiple partitions in my hard drive).

For now, I have removed the hard drive from Computer1, attached it in Computer2, and have access to the data in the various Computer1's drives.

I read many articles here in the Support Mozilla help site to restore the 100+ open tabs from Computer1, into Computer 2, but it is not working for me. I even tried copying the entire "sessionstore-backups" folder from Computer1's location, and replacing the same folder in Computer2's location.

Maybe I have to do more than just copying the "sessionstore-backups" folder, like do something additional through FireFox options??

Any help would be appreciated.

On some websites like Wikipedia and Nitter, the numbers and certain characters (like "quote marks") don't match the other characters. They are in a serif font and so much smaller that they are practically unreadable. I've selected "Allow pages to choose their own fonts" in settings and restarted FF but nothing has changed. This problem does not exist in other profiles but I don't want to have to switch profiles. How can I fix this? Screenshots attached.

I am using an a simple code software to create business quotations at my work.

When I enter the data the end result shows "US$" instead "$".

I have checked all my W10 language, region, etc settings. Everything is in Canadian English.

All my co-workers get it correctly in "$".

I tried by using Internet Explorer and it correctly showed me "$".

That is how I am assuming it is a Firefox issue. Firefox language is also set as "Canadian English".

Any suggestions?

After receiving the Firefox update yesterday I can no longer get Youtube TV to work. The main site loads, along with video streaming in the main window of suggested channels, but when I select a given channel, the video won't load and the icon spins, only to return an error message after a few seconds.

Have cleared cookies and cache, restarted Firefox and my Win 10 machine. Works fine in Chrome and all other non-Windows devices. Any thoughts on what can be done? TIA.

My bookmarks disappeared mysteriously yesterday while I was using the browser. All of them (I have a lot), there's nothing in the bookmarks toolbar. I use Firefox on two different machines regularly, and yesterday the second machine was fine, bookmarks still there. Today I logged on and the second computer had lost its bookmarks too.

I tried restoring. It worked on my other computer, no problem, all bookmarks returned. However, on this one the restore points are visible, but when I click them, nothing happens. I have tried restarting Firefox, no luck. Any ideas?

I am all of a sudden getting Access Denied errors when visiting a variety of different types of sites. I have read in the help menus that I need to go into the history and select to forget the site. While that temporarily fixes it, the error inevitably returns when trying to access these sites. I have disabled the Nord VPN and my ESET virus software but it does not help.

I have to go into Edge to access the sites as Edge does not give me the same error. This is making the browser nearly unusable. Please help.

When I save a bookmark I want to choose what folder to save it in, but Firefox doesn't allow me to. How can I set the bookmarks to show the dialog box that lets me decide.

I cannot currently access https://thesaker.is/ as they are under DOS attack. When I try to access the HTTP sight, firefox is automatically changing what I type, adds the S, and then it cannot connect. Please make it stop "protecting" me. moving from pc to mac. all is going great. download and install firefox. sign in and sync. all good. start cleaning up old passwords (no more microsoft email i never used, etc.). then i see a yellow triangle on my icon in the address bar. click. says i'm not logged in. hm. so i log back in.

and all my passwords are gone except for the brand new firefox password i just created. that's it.

thank goodness i had the pc open and was able to immediately make html and csv copies of bookmarks & passwords from it, but firefox had the yellow triangle again. wasn't going to log in that time and lose everything.

my question is this: there is ZERO information on how to import the .csv file into firefox. i can't figure it out. please don't put the same link i've followed five times already before seeing what it looks like now. it's worthless.

so. how do i get my 132 passwords back?

I've been trying to do some research on this and I've tested a number of results (clearing cache/cookies, running on Safe/Troubleshoot mode) but I'm still getting this error. I have also done a complete reinstall of the Firefox browser

I don't have any issue logging into any of the Google applications (gmail, youtube, drive, etc) on Chrome or Edge on my Windows machine, and I don't have any issues on my Mac running firefox, this issue seems to be specific to my Windows 10 OS on firefox.

It also occasionally works, so it's really confusing trying to debug what's going on (it works randomly if I refresh enough.

I'm not sure if it's related, but Youtube occasionally has issues connecting as well with the following issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I would really prefer this to work properly, otherwise I might end up having to switch browsers since it greatly effects a lot of things.

I am running Windows 11 Build 25151 on a Lenovo X1 Carbon Gen 7. With the last several Builds when selecting an option from a pop-up the FireFox window just stops for up to several minutes, no error message. In other cases cannot select an option necessary continue. In several cases the continue button at the bottom of the popup is not available. I am running FireFox 102.0.1 (64 bit). In most cases, copy address from FF to Microsoft Edge, edge is able to continue.

Not sure if a FireFox or Windows problem.
