Hey, I'm using Firefox as my PDF reader and I need to do a lot of searching throughout documents. When I use CTRL+F to search for and highlight text, the found text is highlighted in a very light green color that does not contrast well with the white background of the page. Is there a way to manually change this color to make it contrast better so it is more noticeable? Thanks!

How can I set the default option for opening PDF files in Firefox? I'm not asking about setting the automatic handler. I don't want PDF files to open in anything automatically. I want to get the dialog box asking me "What should Firefox do with this file," but I want to set one of the options to be the one that's pre-selected so all I have to do is click OK. (I don't want to have to choose the preferred option each time by clicking its radio button and then OK.)

Recently, these dialogs always seem to have the "Open with Firefox" option pre-selected. Since I usually want to open PDFs with Adobe Acrobat, I have to click on that radio button and then click OK. I just want to click OK, except in the few instances when I want to save the file or use the internal viewer.

So how do I designate the default option?

How can I change the font color on search page results. I have difficulty differentiating the difference between the color of the pages I've read and those I haven't because the colors are so similar.

Microsoft/Windows 10 has removed Firefox from their list of potential default browsers. Most information answering "how to make Firefox my default browser" is out of date as the information says to go to where Microsoft Edge is noted as the Windows 10 system's choice of default browser, then to click on that and choose Firefox from the choice dialog box. Sadly Firefox is no longer in that choice dialog box. Please advise, thanks.

I want to upload .zip files to my site for download. I get the error message 'invalid file type' trying all day and then I tried Microsoft Edge and it uploaded no problem. So what do I do to have Firefox do this?

When I click on the "Home" icon, two new home tabs appear (instead of one). Minor issue, but inexplicable and annoying. I am running Windows 7 Pro with Firefox 80.0 (64 bit). My home page is an .html file on my hard drive.

After visiting amazon.com once, I find it has placed itself at the top of the Top Sites list in the address bar. How do I remove this unwanted link, while keeping the other ones (which seem to be based on frequency used)?

Have set duckduckgo as default search engine but search just returns duckduckgo main page, not keyword search results when keywords are typed in search bar and hit search. If I revert to bing it shows results as usual. Change back to duckduck and it reverts to just showing duckduck main page again. Any suggestions

The theme doesn't apply to my Firefox settings.

I set the black theme, but when I reboot Firefox, the settings do not take effect.

Each time I have to go into the settings and set them again.

I need help. My eyes hurt.

Firefox just auto updated for me today and the browser is placing the Facebook Tracker icon right in the center of the page of whatever I'm looking at. It also adds a little 1/4 circle in the upper left corner. It used to be just in the top bar - it doesn't appear there any more. How do I stop this, its super annoying.

Firefox was acting weird so I restarted with add ons disabled.

That seemed better so I restarted my PC but now all my addons have disappeared. Checked the addons folder and it's EMPTY.

What can I do?

Cease calling the latest Android Firefox version an 'update'. It is a downgrade by removing the remarkably useful and frequently used facility to save pages to .pdf.

Then, restore the facility for Android and introduce it in Windows!

I am having some seriously frustrating issues not only with accessing my toolbar (despite the fact that I went through the rigmoral of learning how to assure that it is always showing in my browser).

I hate it that I have to hover the mouse arrow over the top for even the tabs to show!!! I also hate it that while I am in this current page as well as other pages, I cannot get the startup menu on my computer to come up so that I can access the start menu!!! It's like something is blocking my access to it as long as I am doing anything online!!!

I would greatly appreciate some help here! I can't even access paint without minimizing my browser in order to paste the print screen image I took of this into there in order to share it with you and the image that I take does not show where the mouse arrow is located!!! Also, when I minimize the browser and go to start, I cannot even access paint without doing a stupid cortana search because the only "paint" option that shows up in my startup menu is 3D Paint even though I never even use that! Can anyone please help me with this?
