I'm on my personal computer and personal account and my "network administrator" (which I don't have) has turned on restricted mode in YouTube so I can't read comments on videos etc. I know I need to change my browser security settings, but I don't know to what exactly. Can anyone help? The restricted mode is infuriating me.

In /etc/apparmor.d/, create a file with the name firefox-local

In the file, add the following:

1. This profile allows everything and only exists to give the

Replace <USER> with your Linux user name. This assumes the Firefox install is at $HOME/bin/

Once you have saved the file, run sudo systemctl restart apparmor.service in the Linux terminal.

I noticed yesterday, firefox is saving cookies from Private Browsing Windows after those windows have been closed.

I did not change any settings. The only 'new' thing is I added AdGuard about 2 weeks ago.

Ive been within the past few days getting certain websites randomly popping up first with chrome and now with Firefox ...I've deleted ap0s browsing history to no avail. Even changed my VPN via McAfee please help

Firefox declare to be aware of privacy but as soon as I use Firefox to go on the internet, I immediately get connections from these 2 addresses : 34.107.243.93 34.107.221.82 in addition to the address of the site I connect to.

And sometimes, I receive so many connection attempts on ports that are not implied in the connection I have established with the initial site (conntrack) that I am obliged to disconnect the network. This does not happen with other browsers like Konqueror, Falcon, etc. I suffered an attack in this way in the past with heavy consequences. Is there a way to configure Firefox in order to suppress it ?

Does Firefox support webAuthn passkeys stored by the browser? I have an app that I am working on and I would like to be able to use this feature.

If Firefox cannot store passkeys can you explain why this has not been added?

I was googling something related to my game and i clicked on a Reddit search result, which i made sure is the official Reddit website not some shady one, then an empty .htm file from moz-safe-about resource got downloaded randomly. I didn't open it, i uploaded it to VirusTotal which came out safe and then i instantly deleted it and ran a virus scan with Windows Security which also came out clean. i tried to recreate this by opening the same website again both on Firefox and other browsers like Zen(Firefox based) and Chrome but nothing happened.

is this a harmless bug or should i worry that it could be a virus that didnt get detected?

Hi. I'm on Tahoe since 24 hours. I have Lulu installed. Lulu blocked an outgoing connection called ping sender that wants to connect to 34.120.208.123 and is related to Mozilla as Lulu says. But when I run a whois on this ip I get

First one is I get a "Sorry, the video player failed to load.(Error Code: 104153)" error when clicking links from a search for a video, if that video is available on YouTube it opens and plays just fine, not from other websites though - and it should. Fix?

Second is one I searched here: "Your browser is being managed by your organization." I found a couple of questions asked - one had a number of things to try, all of which I did, I did delete one Registry entry about certificates, but when the browser reopened, message was still there. None of the other options offered worked either. I don't use Norton (ever!), I use Windows Defender in combination with Malwarebytes Pro for malware. I don't think either of those are at issue. Or can't see how.

This is and has always been only a personal use pc. So, are there other ideas about how to get rid of that message? I've seen it elsewhere too, Chrome, but their help said it was just something they couldn't get rid of and to ignore it. It seems I ought be able to do more than that. Not incidentally, maybe, I see the same message in Windows Settings, can't get rid of it there either. Thanks for any ideas anyone might have. :^)

I have a wildcard certificate issued by Sectigo. The certificate was provided as a .p7b. I have converted it into a .cer, a .pfx, a .pem file and attempted to install it in the firefox certificate store in my windows 10 system. I choose 'import' and point to the .pfx file. It appears that it is working as I do not get any errors, but the certificate is nowhere to be found. I have checked all of the certificate choices in the certificate manager. I used mmc to see if the certificate was in the trusted root certification authority. It's not there. I finally installed the certificate successfully in the trusted root certification authority using mmc, hoping that that would allow me to install it successfully in the firefox certificate store, but I get the same results. I have run Firefox as an administrator, same results. I have googled over and over with the same results, i.e. it appears that the certificate is not installed.

How can I get this CA Certificate installed in the firefox certificate store.

99% of the time, site's work just fine with strict cross-domain referral policies. Sometimes they don't. I don't want to change my browser-wide setting everytime I use ONE site. Is there anyway to add a site-specific exception for referrers?
