every SINGLE time i press the windows key in this browser it opens this menu with. 'file, edit, view, history, bookmarks.

I don't need this useless bullshit and never will. how do I disable it forever.

I continue to have issues with web site appearance. Whether I select "automatic" or off for "contrast control" previously visited links are turned purple. If I try "custom"’ for ‘Firefox’ nothing else seems to stay like I need it to be. I do not have this issue when I use Chrome.

I am running Firefox on Windows 11 and I'm encountering a strange issue regarding the UI updates.

The Issue: My Firefox browser updates automatically to the latest version. However, my Default Profile is visually stuck on the old UI design. It does not reflect the recent interface changes associated with the update.

The Troubleshooting Context:

• I have verified that the browser itself is technically updated (via Help > About Firefox).
• The strange part: I have other Firefox profiles on this same machine. When I launch those profiles, they correctly display the new, updated UI.
• This issue is isolated strictly to my main/default profile.

Has anyone experienced this mismatch where the version number is correct, but the UI fails to refresh on a specific profile? Is there a specific fix for this?

Hello, I would like, with userChrome (css), to make it so that the active tab has no line at the bottom, but that there is a line that starts on the right side of the browser and when it reaches the tab, it wraps around it (goes up on one side, comes down on the other side, and continues horizontally from the other side. I included a picture that illustrates this on an older version of Firefox.

How do I keep my menu bar showing after the last updates of 147.0? F10 is only temporary as I click or type it vanishes again. The customize toolbar wasn't helpful. I want words not symbols.

when using two screens at the same time on windows 11, when switching to fullscreen mode, I get a part of the main screen from the right. I tried disabling extensions, it doesn't help. The latest versions of windows 11, drivers, and also the latest version of firefox are installed.

some items are large, some items are TINY. I have tried resetting my display setting scale, but the url bar, the menu where are my open tabs, the bookmarks toolbar, and some other things re TINY.

I finally got the search field and the address field on the same line. However, the search field is on the left and I would like it on the right. When I "customize toolbar" and manually switch the fields, it does not seem to reverse them subsequently (after I enter "Done").

What am I missing here?

I can't get my original profile 1 to show the original background color. This suggests I don't really have my original profile, I do prefer a white background rather than the iky red/maroon color.

My address bar disappeared. I can get it back by hitting F10 but it doesn't stay. How can I get it back and keep it? When I go to the Customize Toolbar setting, the address bar is not there.

I've got a new SSD and have reinstalled Firefox as my browser. In the past I've had the address field on the left and the search field to its right. I can get the search field on the same level as the address field but have not been able to switch their locations.

I have attached a screen shot of that section of my browser home page.

I thank you for whatever suggestions or guidance anyone can give.

For the last couple of days, the address bar on the web apps that I've installed to my taskbar has been shrunk to about a third its usual length. I don't have flexible space put anywhere on my toolbar, and the problem is only on the sites I've put in the taskbar, not in regular browser windows. Is there a way to fix it, and get it back so it reaches all the way to the extension icons?

I'm using Firefox 147.0.1 on Windows 11, Version 25H2, Build 26200.7623, if that helps

Web pages that are supposed to contain emojis are blank. I can highlight where emojis are supposed to be shown but the actual images of the emojis aren't there. about:config font.name-list.emoji correctly contains "Apple Color Emoji" If it is relevant, this has been a bug/issue that has persisted for a couple of months now (can't name an exact date).

My emails used to display in date order but since a Mozilla upgrade they are now grouped as Today, Yesterday and Last Week. Is there a setting to alter this back to one list in date order please?
