How can I copy all of my Bookmarks from a hard drive which crashed, and is no longer bootable? While I can no longer boot from the drive, I can still access all of my files using another computer, and attaching the un-bootable drive with an external docking device. Is there a file where the bookmarks exist on my old drive; that I can copy and paste to the new Firefox I will be loading? If yes; will I have to do this to a new setup on my old computer first, or can I just do this onto the new computer I'm getting ready to purchase? I was running the latest version of Firefox on Windows 7 Pro. My old computer was running Windows 7 Pro. The new computer I will soon be purchasing will have an i9 processor, and will be running Windows 11. I am currently using a computer at my local library to send this message. So whatever computer information is automatically furnished to you will not pertain to my computer. PLEASE HELP

Hi there, Trouble is never far away from windows 10, as I had (yet again) to reset my whole notebook and Firefox and cannot recover previous bookmarks, nor the side bar. I am absolutely throttled on this as all seems unresponsive. I have found a copy of old firefox but it won´t swallow it. How can I get out of this situation which catches me out everytime. keep it simple

I want to enlarge the font in the menu bar WITHOUT enlarging/zooming all web content - JUST the menu bar. And I want to make the bookmark dropdown list single spaced with no padding. Can't find any solution to these issues.

I'm on two Apple machines, both running Monterey 12.6, a 2014 Intel Mac Mini and a 2020 M1 MacBook Pro. Both updated to Firefox 106.0 yesterday. The MacBook Pro seems fine, but the Mac Mini "bookmarks.html" file is not being updated. I noticed this as when I run backups, I have a script that copies the file from my profile into a folder so the backup program can back it up along with other files.

In the profiles location I have a folder named "bookmarkbackups" and a file named "bookmarks.html." Is there a setting that needs to be set/changed so the html file continues to be updated?

Not sure what happened, but with the latest FF versions (106.0.0 and 106.0.1), my list of bookmarks will not display in the left side panel. I do get some icons being displayed but that's it, no text, and lots of blank space. But the scroll bar seems to work as if the bookmarks were displayed. How can I get my bookmark display working again?

I don't see why the browser won't just load the bookmarks for me instead of making me do it myself one at a time? I have already spent hours on this. I didn't even have the option to select Opera to transfer the bookmarks from. wtf Who cares if you don't like Opera. That's bs. That's where all of my bookmarks are at I want to be transferred. Help please.

Bookmarks that I have added do not show up in the Bookmarks Menu folder that I have chosen using Triple bar menu_Bookmarks_Bookmark Current Tab. I have taken the search bookmarks to find the correct bookmark but this is getting tedious. I have also discovered that the folders located in the Sidebar Listing don't agree with the Bookmarks Menu on the toolbar.

Some of the entries in the sidebar have no relation to the folder subject. While I may have put some entries in the wrong place the two folders with the same name should have the same bookmarks displayed. At least that is my expectation. This happened soon after an update.

There are no incorrect entries in the Bookmarks Menu bar.

Hi, I am trying to save my most important Bookmarks as Shortcuts in Firefox Homepage, but Firefox is not showing the icons of the shortcuts, instead it is showing as Letters of the site. Please refer the image that I have attached. Incase if the image in the attachment fails, use this link Do note that the icons in bookmarks bar are showing fine, but the problem is only in Homepage shortcuts. Please help! With the latest firefox update all of my bookmarks (and I have hundreds) are now gone!! I went on online to find help and the help was confusing and I couldn't figure out how to reload my bookmarks from the backup. Please walk me through the process step by step, I really need all of my saved bookmarks that I save articles for research, etc. Thank you

I want to sort the Bookmarks dropdown list A to Z by name. When I click on Manage Bookmarks and then right click on All Bookmarks, then click on sort A to Z, nothing happens. The dropdown list is still mixed.

I made the mistake to sign into my Firefox account at work and all my personal bookmarks got replaced by my work bookmarks. now when i sign in into my account at my house, i can only see my work bookmarks. how do i recover my personal bookmarks? thank you
