I’ve been noticing an issue with YTS-type sites on Firefox. The site either loads partially, the player doesn’t start, or it keeps buffering without playing anything.

What’s strange is that the exact same site works perfectly fine on Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers. Videos load instantly there, but on Firefox it either breaks or takes forever.

Things I’ve already tried: – Cleared cache and cookies – Disabled all extensions – Tried in private window – Checked network (no issues)

It feels like something related to Firefox compatibility with the video player or scripts used on these sites.

I also tested another version here which seems to work better on Firefox:

ytsmx https://ytsmx.stream/

Not sure what’s different (maybe a different player or encoding), but it loads without issues for me.

Has anyone else faced this or knows what might be causing it?

Microsoft and Google are part of Anthropic's Project Glasswing but Mozilla is not. I am concerned about Firefox security if Mozilla in not being included. What is your plan to participate? Do I need to switch browsers in the meantime? Please advise. Thanks.

After the latest Firefox update (ref 025f29), my bookmarks and saved passwords are not syncing. Tried signing out and back in.

In the last 48 hours I haven't been able to access the following - https://www.co-operativebank.co.uk - they do not appear to be the problem - when I try the link the 'retrying' symbol on the top left of screen (?taskbar), flashes extremely rapidly and it appears the system can't find the website. Are you aware of this issue.

After the latest Firefox update (ref c93967), my bookmarks and saved passwords are not syncing across my devices. I have tried signing out and back in but the issue persists. Any suggestions?

First, I am technologically illiterate, so my terminology will be imperfect. Until today, there was a second line in my Google browser that listed my favorite sites I visited daily. It was just below the Google Tab line (the very top line). That line is now gone and now I have to look up the web addresses in my bookmark thing off to the right. How can I get that favorite sites line thingy back?

Bully much? TyDraniu! Its people like you that makes the average user that has to result to anger replies leave because of the technical problems. I thank you for making my mind up for me, for more years than I can remember I used Firefox, even when it was giving me a hard time. I always returned because they seemed to really care. Now I am not so sure anymore. If you enjoy sarcasm all the more power to you. And just maybe someone that matters will take notice of this
