I have found Wikipedia to be biased and to contain much incorrect information. I would prefer to omit results from Wikipedia and to use data from Grokipedia instead. This presents two questions: 1. Will Mozilla add a general option to add or remove search sources? And 2. will Mozilla add Grokipedia to its list of sources?

That doesn't work anymore. Since the last update, the search went back to the adress bar, doesn't matter if that option is mark as true or false.

Please stop making that the searches go to the adress bar. Nobody likes it.

I'm trying to move search engine from yahoo search to Firefox search engine because I had the Firefox search engine on my old phone and I liked it because it worked better than yahoo.

I downloaded Foxfire esr version to get rid of goggle. I transferred my data from google. Now the Google search is showing up. Should I uninstall goggle to get rid of it?

Since I got my first computer in the 1980s the centered search bar has been the window for searching. It sits at a comfortable height for my eyes and is not surrounded by visual clutter. Since the address bar first appeared as an alternative for searching I have consistently disabled or overridden it. It is bad visual design; it is visually inconvenient, and to many of us who have used consumers for decades, it is not how a computer screen should look.

Now comes the newest version, which locks users into one way of doing things. Well, Newsflash: A lot of us want the freedom to use an operating system that responds to us, not vice-versa.

I think you are not making a lot of friends with this version. Rather than trying to spin it as something great, which it isn't, why not admit it's a problem, and rewrite it to make it more useful to everyone?

Perhaps set the previous iteration of the search bar as an option in the settings. Not having easy access to all my search engines at once, and having to spend those extra seconds to click on the search icon, select the one I want to use in the new list layout, wastes precious time. This is a real boon to my productivity and would love a return.

Google seems to be slowing down my PC. So I deleted google and installed Mozilla. I set Mozilla as my default browser but google is still there. How do I get rid of google?

In new version i can switch between search engines, but it makes me to many clicks. In old version, i just clicked icons in bottom and it become search in this engine. How to bak to the old version?

I use Mozilla's Firefox as my default browser. I recently noticed as I surf the Internet, Bing surreptitiously intercedes for Firefox. Why is this? How does this happen? There is nothing I can do to stop it, or change it. Why? I do not want that. Is that okay with the folks at Mozilla?

I am trying to change my search over to Mozilla and firefox. When I open up the firebox search the google search pops in. Why? I already discouraged because I know they are attempting control. The last two years I have been hacked almost every month. The whole problem has been ongoing for almost 20 years.

I liked my search box functioning like it did before the last update...can you please revert it back to the way it was please or give us the option to change it back. Why mess with perfection???...thank you. (149.0 64bit currently)
