Hi, Apologies I've failed to find a more apt site to post this. The add-on/extension 'Remove Anything' was really useful. I have now discovered profiles and setting some up (they seem great), that and becoming a windows 11 user has caused me to have a hard look at the ones I installed. 1. 'Remove anything' has been great and I've been using it since late 2017 IIRC 2. The author ended support updates in June 2026 and updated the add-on page accordingly and pointed users to an alternative. I have to think this is best practice. We don't need many add-ons that do the same thing but kindly pointing users to a suitable alternative the author wasn't connected to was a helpful move. 3. I couldn't find a place channel to thank the author for their work but certainly appreciate it. 4. if anyone closing or casually reading sees this and could please pass on thanks from a typical domestic user to RoadrunnerWMC PLEASE Do. I greatly appreciate the volunteer efforts that created and run firefox and the big umbrella of related software, ever since the old Netscape days. That includes whoever is dealing this question. EVERY SINGLE TIME I try to access the 1Password extension it requires me to enter the Master Password for my 1Password extension. It never did before, if I entered it once I could use finger print access for a few day before it asks for my Master Password again. Do I have to remove the extension?

When I open the view filters page in the adguard extension I can't find the close option to get out of it and I have to exit it from task manager in order for it to close.

How do I get Firefox extensions on so that I can use Reveddit? What do I do? I’m trying to use the Reveddit, it says but every time I input the sub, it says that they can’t go through because I don’t have the extensions

I want to add Browser Guard to my Malwarebytes installation but when I click to download it for Firefax I get a message: "This add-on is not actively monitored for security by Mozilla. Make sure you trust it before installing." But then I can't download thi feature. What is going wrong?

My problem started approximately (2) updates prior to my current Firefox update after 7-13-26... abouit a month of it now. I have great Malware and Security programs and never have been hacked. However now I have popups, redirects to new tabs advertising something, and Bing search engine came up replacing my StartPage search preference. I have since fixed my default search engine, but as noted below I am having no luck with ad popups and search redirects.

I have gone through Mozilla troubleshooting in Settings>Peremissions and Date>Notifications... and checked off all ad and popup blocking. I have checked entire PC with (2) separate Malware programs and found nothing. I use iObit Advanced System Care and it has caught many things, but it hasn't helped me here either.

I am still on Windows 10 operating system and have never had any problems at all Is there someting in a line item entry stored on my PC that I can look for that is taking over my browser settings? What else can be done to stop these insane ad and popup overlays?
