Until some days ago I could use the add on "Video Downloadhelper" without problems on my old Macbook Air (2017) with OS10.15.7 but suddenly the add on was not available anymore. I purchased a valid license for this add on. In the Firefox adjustments it was mentioned as deactivated. Could you please let me know, how I can activate the Video Downloadhelper again? my bookmark bar disappered suddenly and all my tabs are gone. i tried to bookmark a new tab but it would not let me. and i didnt do anything different. opened my laptop today and i had to restore all tabs, and my bookmark bar is gone and all my shortcuts from bookmarks are gone too

I really appreciate Firefox's built in translator; it is extremely helpful. However there is one thing that bugs me, when translating a page that has multiple language options. For example, when translating a page from German to English, the word "Deutsch" (often listed in the website's built in language settings) is translated not to "German", but to "English". While technically correct in that the page is now displaying English thanks to the Firefox translation, it would probably be better to show "German" so that it is easier to switch the website language and not have a duplicate "English" option in the website's dropdown menu. I have noticed this on multiple websites, specifically with German, but it might be with other languages as well. Hopefully this explanation of the issue makes sense, and see my attached screenshot which shows this issue. Please let me know if there is somewhere else I should submit this too.

Today my Facebook has no sound. My laptop has sound. Youtube has sound, NBC has sound, Amazon Music has sound, NPR has sound, it's just Facebook that is WITHOUT SOUND. So that is why I am wondering, does Firefox/Mozilla have sound settings that I might access to fix something like this?

I have already tried rebooting the laptop. Rebooting the browser. Rebooting Facebook. Thank you in advance for whatever help you might offer, Pamela

I have accessed the particular website many times but today it says, "Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

We can’t connect to the server at shop.naturalcompounder.com.

If you entered the right address, you can:

   Try again later
   Check your network connection
   Check that Firefox has permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall)"

An old website appears in the browser when I log into the new website. The new site is "www.thestoneshop.net". What comes up in the browser is "Custom | Foothills Countertop | Northglenn". The old website.

Sporadically over the past year, a virus warning, purportedly from Apple, has locked my FireFox screen. I must Force Quit to unlock FoxFire. See images. Is this a scam?

When I launch Firefox, it uses well under 1GB in memory, but then it starts to increase that amount quickly in just a few minutes and gets up to 50+GB, causing error messages to pop up repeatedly until it uses all resources and locks up my computer. I have updated my MAC OS and the Firefox app, uninstalled the Firefox App and still have the same problem.

Why are there ZERO conservative viewpoints or resources in the homepage feed? Your content is narrow-minded and shows only one perspective on today's topics and headlines. Perhaps people would be more inclined to support the work if it were more balanced and expressed the views of the other 50% of America.

Over the past three weeks, since I updated my Firefox version to 148.0.2 (aarch64), a black or white rectangle appears at the top of all websites and prevents me from accessing some links on those sites.

I refreshed and cleared the cache, and it worked for a while, but then it appeared again on every single website.

It makes it unusable that, for the first time in 15 years, I might have to switch to another browser if I can't solve it.

In the attached picture, you can see that the place line covers the top of the site and cuts off the Firefox logo and the links above.

Any solution is welcome
