Firefox default website and all Firefox log ins are discarded from my FF account and are replaced by Microsoft with settings in Edge and the dreaded Bing. My default web browser is FF and has been for many years. Can I save my FF data to somewhere in FF so that my info is safe from MS and Google?

I play a youtube video in firefox browser but it doesn't have any high quality video options. If I copy the link and paste it into the Chrom browser, it immediately has all the options.

I have many problems with Firefox for Windows 11. Unfortunately, it occupies a very high amount of cpu above 88% and memory above 700 MB with two or three open screens and has a very high battery consumption, consuming more than 41% of 100% battery in less than an hour. Also, I used it a lot in Windows 10 and it was not like this at all, and its automatic update was perfect in Windows 10, but it does not work in Windows 11. Thank you for your attention and correcting software updates in the very near future

I switched from google/Duckduckgo to Firefox/Duckduckgo because google has no respect for anyone's privacy and their search results have become pretty much useless. Now, I'm getting the same crappy, irrelevant search results in Firefox w/Duckduckgo that I get in google. Has google, in their unquenchable greed and constant quest for power, managed to somehow corrupt Firefox and Duckduckgo so that they can't get intelligent, relevant answers, either?

Suddenly my Firefox stopped opening links on a page and when I open a new tab I can only get a blank page or the Firefox default page. Before this happened (and I didn't make any changes, just turned on my computer one day and things changed) I could open a new tab and it opened with my chosen URL, which happens to be msn.com, and say after opening I did a search for something and then clicked a link, it would open the link. Now I click a link and it shows a new tab up top, but never opens anything, just the circle going and going and going. Also when I open a new tab I can only get a blank page or Firefox default page, where I used to get my msn page. When the problem originally started I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled in hopes it would fix this, but it didn't. I have spent hours trying to Google an answer. As soon as I use Edge, everything works fine, I can click links all day long. I have used Firefox forever and don't want to give it up, but if I can't solve the problem, I can't use it because it's SO frustrating and time consuming not to be able to open a link. The blank page or Firefox default I guess I could get used to, even though it's super annoying for it not to work, when it did for years. Thank you for anyone who might be able to help.

So only on my FIre Fox, a window would pop-up (a window that looked like it was via the operating system) that was asking me for my NordVPN Username and Password. When I would push the "cancel" button, it would just keep popping up over and over, not letting me do anything else. So I would have to switch to a different browser, whereby that would not happen. Is this something that happens with FireFox?

I uninstalled Firefox and only use another browser now, but it is not happening anymore.

I was the victim of a ransomware attack, I knew who did it, but the police did nothing. I suspect those same persons are still trying to keep tabs on me to see if I am still trying to take some kind of action against them. I don't want to sound paranoid, but these people, who are known to me, destroyed my legal practice, so it is worthy to be paranoid.

Anyone know anything about these types of things?

Being archived I cannot "check mark" the question to show I too have this problem.

It is a basic problem and a piece of gravel in the shoe of many, I suggest, Firefox users who are developers.

Clearly, there is a need for a UI to navigate inspected content results and the original question author was exactly correct.

This is drip by drip making me want to end my return to Firefox and give up and use Chrome.

Even just an indication such as unarchiving the riginal post and linking to a "Pending to fix" Github issue would be a nice step.

I can log into KP.org ok. Often while clicking on an option the screen goes mostly blank. click refresh and I only get a flash of the Kaiser screen. If I use Chrome the site works as normal. Please see what you can do, Chrome is not my favorite

When syncing between two different firefox instances not on the same OS or computer which of them is the syncing from and to?

If I have one instance where I have Firefox on a different computer and another on a completely different computer which of them does Firefox know it's the latest one to sync from?

The time it takes from power ON to loading my homepage (Google News) is now 11 minutes. What can I do to shorten. I've enabled Fox to load homepage on start-up. But it was slow before anyway. My Firefox version is 128.02 My O.P. is Windows 11

If I open multiple Linkedin pages quickly (like when I open a bunch of job postings), most of the time 50-75% of the pages don't load at all or just stuck loading for ever.

I've completely uninstalled Firefox and deleted everything Mozilla related from my Windows 11 PC (including from AppData) but it doesn't help.

The issue persists on all my PC's and doesn't change if I try another DNS provider. I've tried changing a lot of the security settings but none seem to have an effect.

Edge and Brave work completely fine but I'd prefer to keep using Firefox. Any suggestions?

I'm using Firefox 127.0.2 on Arch Linux. In settings under General>Startup>"Open previous windows and tabs" is not checked. Under about:config browser.sessionstore.restore_on_demand is false, and browser.sessionstore.resume_from_crash is false

How do I get Firefox to give me a clean slate after restarting my computer?
