Firefox I have been using for years on my pc, and all has been fine, until a couple of days ago i tried to uploads a thumbnail to youtube and it just hangs, it works on other browsers, also uploading a video, again no progress at all it just hangs at 0% uploaded. Ive tried everything and no change, ive changed nothing, one day it worked and then it stopped. I upload videos everyday so this needs to be working for me, or I need a new browser asap as this is my business. I cannot find anything about this error online. v 129.02 (64 bit). Please advise.

Since a few days, everytime I launch firefox browser, I receive a Malwarebytes warning that points at the firefox exe on my computer and is categorized as a trojan.

Hi, Is it possible to restore history for all years, not just last months? I mean, I need history for my browsing in 2022, but I can restore it just for last months.

I have a DAW on my computer, and I realized that as long as I have a tab with a Youtube video open, the DAW's ASIO driver won't work properly. It is as if even after stopping a video, FF does not release the audio, unless I close the entire YT tab.

In Edge that is not the case. Can't you change FF's behavior so that it releases the audio of my computer as soon as no audio is playing in the browser?

version 129.0.2 64bit on Win11

cannot find any setting to get rid of double spacing in bookmarks and other bookmarks drop-down lists. lack of scroll bars makes this bad configuration in firefox even worse.

So, it happened again today. Saw their commercial on TV today and went to legacybox.com (NEVER BEEN THERE BEFORE; they transfer VHS tapes, and other stuff, to digital) and got an email from them after closing the browser tab and leaving their website. While I didn't open the email, their email Subject/title was "Thanks for stopping by...".

All I did was look around their website for a few minutes AND DID NOT GIVE THEM MY EMAIL ADDRESS!

This is EXTREMELY DISTURBING!

PLEASE, If anyone here has the Video DownloadHelper extension installed in Firefox AND their Companion App (it costs ~$28, I think.. so don't bother if you don't have it). And make sure you've updated to a recent version, WHERE THEY HAVE YOUR EMAIL/Licens# IN THE SETTINGS (L click on the VDH icon, click on the gear icon, and at the bottom of the menu, click on "More settings....". If your email is there, PLEASE GO TO Legacybox.com AND SEE IF THIS SITE SENDS YOU AN EMAIL as this may help to confirm if Firefox is leaking emails thru that app. Thanks!

i got this long bookmarklet https://pastebin.com/MZmzEy5C and its working on google chrome but not on firefox when i add it on firefox nothing happens no errors too so whats wrong? thanks for advance replies, btw this bookmarklet is use for my huawei modem web control panel it adds a lot of functionality to it

Firefox is my default browser. I got this message 9/2/2024: Your browser is not currently supported for streaming Live TV and DVR content with DISH Anywhere. Please use a Chrome or Safari browser to access this content. This is the first time I have had this to happen. I have always been able to get Dish Anywhere on Firefox. I called and talked with support for my Dish account and was told that there had been an update on Firefox that has caused this. Is this problem going to be corrected?

Whenever I save a page, it takes two attempts to save correctly. 1st attempt, the page is saved to my bookmarks menu, despite selecting another folder. 2nd attempt, the page save correctly to the folder selected. I was wondering if anyone knew how get my browser back to one save attempt. Thanks for your help!

When ever I click on a youtube link I get a flash of the video and then "Video unavailable This content isn't available". But the video is clearly available as runs fine in other browsers. Since FF is my default browser this is a real pain and may force me to go to a different default browser which I don't want.

I have cleared the cache no change It does the same in incognito mode
